My truck broke down on Rt 287 near Bridgewater. I looked on NTTSbreakdown.com who the nearest tow truck company was and it was Bauer Automotive Truck Service. I asked them if they had the time to take my truck (which had empty trailers behind it) to the FedEx terminal in Edison and then 1 mile to leave my truck in the FedEx yard. The total mile from their shop to the FedEx yard was 39 miles. To make a long story short they charged me $2317 for the tow, which is obscene. I asked the owner Mike how he could possibly charge this amount to a small operator and he laughed it off. Do yourself a favor and don't ever use this company. They are a major rip off and I will be writing my next email to the BBB.

They referred me to Direct Drive Diagnostics and when I got there, Thomas literally stopped what he was working on to assist me. This is arguably one of the best mechanic experiences I've ever had. Lisa the office Manager was a sweetheart and Thomas and his partner were able to assess what was wrong, and get my car up in running in roughly under 40 minutes. They were honest, hospitable, all had a great sense of humor and I felt welcomed and comforted that everything was going to be resolved. I highly recommend this place and even living in Brooklyn will bring my car back there moving forward because of how great and reliable they are. Uhaul was totally unbothered about us being stranded with 2 kids a cat a dog & a hamster with a truck containing all of our possessions thousands of miles from our destination. Without Rob and CES we would still be sitting in that lot. I am forever grateful to CES. I strongly recommend this business.
