Today, like in February, the owner found a very nice deep purple gel polish with sparkles, which was a huge help. In February, I only had a fill, but today, I also had a pedicure with a sea salt scrub and callous remover. This was my first pedicure in about a year; it was way overdue. The pedicure and fill were excellent. I was surprised I could make a last-minute appointment for a Friday afternoon, so I was delighted it worked out. First, I called ahead to ask about the price for a service I wanted, and they gave me one price over the phone. But as soon as I got there, suddenly it was a different price. I even spoke up about that too and said there was no reason to make fun of it. Then she started acting like, "Oh no no no," trying to play it off like I didn't know what was going on. One service I got today was a #5 pedicure and as it got time for nail polish I asked for regular nail polish. The gentleman that was doing my pedicure got visible upset that I didn't want gel and informed me that there will be an additional charge since he took off the original gel nail polish I had on. The fact that he was visibly irritated because I wanted regular nail polish and then advised a $5 extra charge because I declined gel made the experience unpleasant. It's hard to find a decent nail place around here and I am not sure I will be returning after today's visit. So if anyone has another nail place to recommend, please let me know.
