Made a reservation here for a party of 6 on a Saturday night at 7:30pm. Had looked at the reviews, as well as the online menu ahead of time and I had been to the rooftop bar here on a few occasions so we decided to come here to try the restaurant for a special occasion. Right from the start, it was evident that there was a lack of service in just trying to get seated. We were visited by several staff members who just kept telling us that someone should be helping us soon. A short time later, maybe 10-12 minutes in total, we were seated at our table. We began with a round of cocktails and the Mediterranean board which contained a great selection of breads and hummus. Definitely not a fan of the garlic bulb which we were told had the texture of a crispy potato chip. Not even close. For the main entree, three of us ordered the filet mignon - two w/ a medium temp and the third with a medium-rare temp. I also tried the Caesar salad as a starter and that was really good. It took a bit of time to get the main entrees but we didn't think too much of it as we were all content with the atmosphere, our server (who was outstanding!), and the ambiance and vibe of the restaurant. Our food eventually came and that is when we discovered that the two medium temp filets were actually rare to medium-rare. Mine in particular was not even edible it was so undercooked. So much so that I ended up saying something to our server and he advised that he would send over the manager. The manager came over and talked to us and was extremely pleasant and apologetic. He and the server both had asked if they could re-fire it or just make a whole new one for me and I declined both just purely from a time perspective as we did want to head up to the rooftop bar for a cocktail before departing for the evening. Ten minutes later, the manager returned with a whole new filet entree and insisted that I give it a try as that was the very least he could do to make this experience right for me. I indulged, and just as soon as I cut into this filet I immediately noticed that this one too was cooked rare at best. The manager hadn't even left the table and I immediately handed him back the entree and began to express my sincere disappointment and that whoever was working as a chef in the kitchen on this particular evening should not be! This was now a total of FOUR filets that were not cooked to order and way undercooked. I seriously could not believe this was happening. This was by far the worst $280 dinner experience ever! The manager did his best to "make up" for this experience. Clearly, I did not pay for the one filet. I felt really bad for our server as he did everything in his power to ensure that we had a great experience and the kitchen staff was at fault. That being said, when a fine dining establishment can't cook not one but FOUR filets to order, that's a serious problem. There is absolutely zero chance that I would return here to eat, ever. read more

K Club Bar & Bistro on Ulmerton Road in Clearwater is a great place to go for delicious and flavorful food in a cool and unique atmosphere. I like being able to eat outside by the water and fresh air. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating to make sure that you have the best meal. read more

Service was wonderful, however, the food was pretty poor. Not sure if the Short Rib Bolognese was supposed to have two different types of pasta? It appears to be Spaghetti and Linguine... the Ice Cream and Cheesecake both were freezer burnt and weren't edible. Greatly disappointed. read more

We thoroughly loved the K Club and will most definitely return with more friends and family. We ended up sharing four hors d'oeurves and they were all excellent. Wine and Martini's were perfect and and the service by Carly was perfect and most enjoyable. When we walked into the K Club, we were beyond impressed with the bar and views. Went here for mother's day hoping for a great meal in a trendy hotel. We got there and the seating was nice , view of the pool. I think on mothers day they should great you with a drink for mom and a flower. The flower came out about desert time. The food was ok, the carving station guy was rationing like crazy. I mean its Ham! The cost was $59 a person which was a little steep but I don't mind then an automatic 20% tip for a buffet! wow! Sorry I won't be coming back. read more

I lived in the Tampa Bay Area for about four years before returning to Miami a year and a half ago. Finding good restaurants there was a challenge, but dining at K Bar was fantastic. Initially skeptical due to the empty restaurant, we were pleasantly surprised. The place looked great, service was top-notch (shoutout to JT), and the short rib bolognese and Brussel sprouts were amazing. Staying in Sand Key, we struggled to find a nice place to eat. Windy, so outdoors didn't work. Saw the reviews and headed for K Club-- so glad we did! Cute place tucked in the back of the lobby of the Karol Hotel. Felt swanky and clean-- hosts and servers were excellent. Not crowded, moderate noise. We had a nice table in a corner and felt like a nice restaurant in Miami. Ordered the Karol's salad, scallops and grouper-- all cooked perfectly and delicious. Side of Brussel Sprouts was like dessert. But we still ordered the Key Lime pie and scraped the plate clean. Walked over to the bar and had a drink before heading home-- lovely! read more

K Club was a pleasant surprise. As a local who lives within 5 miles of the restaurant we do not have a lot for fine dining in the area. The ambiance and service were excellent and all 3 of our entrees were worth the price point. The tables were spaced and all of the staff we saw were wearing masks and abiding by COVID-19 guidelines. read more

Came here for dinner.... hotel is really pretty and the decor is super trendy... St Pete needs this . The food was delicious, started with a cheese board followed by beet risotto, scallops, and olive crusted sea bass, finished with budino. All amazing. Went up to rooftop bar and LOVED IT! Ginger smash was a delicious drink and the ambiance was perfect. Baseball was on the TVs and cozy little lounge chairs and couch area for larger parties. Staff was all great. Took my wife there for a Valentines Day dinner. They have only been open a couple of weeks and it shows. When we arrived noting our reservation the hostess couldn't figure out where to seat us despite the restaurant only being about half full. Finally seated we waited probably 15 minutes to be greeted. Apparently no one knew who was waiting on our table. Ordered wine and our dinner ( the menu has about 10 items on it kind of limited). Too another 15 minutes to get our wine. Waiter says the bar was really busy. Really? I'm sitting at our table looking at probably 100 bottles of wine on the wall. Okay, we're sipping our wine for the next half hour wondering where our food is? Finally flagged down a manager who goes to investigate. 10 more minutes pass and it finally shows up. Wife has the duck and I had the Bucatino. Wife likes the duck and my Bucatino is good but about half the size I expected. Manager comes by and apologizes and offers us comped desert. I asked for a post wine. They don't have any even though it's on the desert menu. How about an amaretto on the rocks? Nope, don't have that either. Wife has a martini and I settle for the bread pudding, which was really good. All in all a two hour dinner. Apologies again from the manager and our waiter. We were in no real rush but the place seems really disorganized. Lots of staff and managers walking around for the number of diners but still really really slow. If they're banking on table turns for profitability it isn't going to happen (although the couple behind us both ordered steaks and when they came they sent them back to the kitchen and got up and left). Maybe they'll get it together the longer they are open. I hope so. Review should probably be two stars but I'll add one for sympathy for a recent openin read more

The view from the balcony on the bistro is beautiful and this restaurant generally has a casual and chic vibe to the restaurant.
