I came here for the first time to buy Christmas gifts as I know some important women in my family love this brand. I was very tempted to buy stuff for myself but had to focus on giving to others! The sale prices were what tempted me but thankfully I was able to get in and out and get the things I needed. I was helped out by 2 sales associates who were in good spirits with a smile and helpful attitude. The quality of the purses appeared to be good and also durable. Located in the Folsom Outlets. Unlike the one in the SF Outlets located in Livermore, they don't have a line formed outside so only a limited number of people can enter in at a time. It's a nice store. Mostly purses and jewelry. They have a limited amount of clothing. They did have a cute peanuts sweater set that included a purse, wallet, and card holder. All adorable and out of my price range. It doesn't make me love the house shaped purse of Snoopy's dog house any less. I was disappointed they didn't have any silky PJs. The one in Livermore had them years ago and I loved them and was hoping to get another set. They were pink striped. I liked their jewelry, but it's only costume jewelry and my ears are requiring me to only were gold these days. But, I do love the look of their jewelry They also have lots of other purses, but nothing caught my eye. read more

Just looking... but wait This was my first time shopping at a Kate Spade store. Originally, my daughter and I just like to window shop... of course we like to hit the clearance section first because I'm also a bargain hunter. I'm not usually into the bold design and bright colored purses she is known for... a little less attention, please. There were a lot of shoppers that Saturday afternoon and floor sales people were watchful and alert but we were not followed or intimidated by them. I did find a Black cardigan sweater that I liked... getting ready for "sweater weather." I can be an impulsive buyer sometimes too which is why I hang on to receipts. A friendly cashier rang my purchase... she also wrapped my sweater nicely in tissue. Overall, a pleasant experience for my first purchase at Kate Spade. Honestly the women working here are fantastic! I had a lovely conversation with an associate as I was purchasing my first Kate Spade bag and wallet. She was very personable and I would honestly just come back here for the positivity in that store! I rate 4 stars because of the quality of the items themselves, which obviously the associates can't help, but they feel cheap for the price. I do think I could buy an almost identical bag that is the same quality (durability, texture, & material) for 20x cheaper than what I bought these pieces for. I understand in a way that you're paying for the brand name, but I'm debating if I am going to keep these pieces and start a collection or if I'm going to return them and never shop name brand again lol. Was in the Folsom area and couldn't resist. I'm a Kate spade lover, and though this place is in a bit of a nook (went at night so it was kind hard to find in the dark), it was a wonderland. I'm not too picky about getting the latest releases so I found the sales and selection of product lovely. I got a $229 purse for $79- 60% off, plus an additional 20% off! Stopped by for the first time since Covid (mid March) and the store had many cute bags, jewelry and accessories. Most items were 60% off plus additional 20% off. There's a limit of 10 customers inside. When I went right as they opened at noon on Sunday there was no line, but by 2 pm there were about 5-10 lined up outside waiting to go in. It was really hot (95+ degrees) so luckily part of the line was shady. read more

I am thrilled that this Kate Spade outlet opened in Folsom...the commute to the location in Vacaville is rough. This store in Folsom seems to be a bit smaller than the one in Vacaville, but it still has a solid selection. The price points are much more palatable than the flagship store at the Roseville Galleria, and the styles are clean and colorful. The styles and promotions change often so I try to wander into the store occasionally to check out the new stock. Also, I don't have any complaints about the staff...they have always been helpful and friendly to me. read more

We came in to purchase 2 purses for gifts and asked for separate bags and was refused by 2 different cashier/worker. So we told them we will only buy one and the associate looked confused. I should've convince my partner not to get it but we are in rush. Really awful customer service. Will never go back again and will never buy the brand. Across the street was Michael Kors and had a good service there. Ended up buying 3 different purses on that day. Reminds me of Pretty Woman now that I'm writing this awful review. read more

Aren't we all excited they opened a Kate Spade in Folsom. The displays in the store are beautiful, much more than the Vacaville Kate Spade. Lighting is perfectly setup. Staff is very friendly. BUT don't be fooled, they may have opened a few weeks or months ago but the bags they brought out on display have many flaws.... I'm down for a good Kate Spade bag it's a must have staple for every women's closet. I buy purses from Kate Spade every 3 months, and in bulk buys, lol. When you first walk into the store you're taken back on how beautiful and luxurious how they made the store, completely dumps on Vacaville. All you want to do is buy buy buy... I'm telling you, take a look at the purse/purses your grab. A lot of them had scuffs on the leather, scratches on the buckles, bags already flopping losing its shape and dust like it's been sitting in storage without plastic wrap... This won't stop me from shopping at Kate Spade but I've never this this at the Vacaville location. I'll just be a bit more choosy on where I want to go, either which way it's a drive. read more

I came in with my friend to see if they had any new cute purses since I haven't been in years. Typically shop at Vacaville location and have always had a wonderful experience not like that at all in Folsom. The three white sales associates stood behind a counter & didn't greet us as we walked in. I didn't think much of it but then one bold racist associate followed us to the sales section, looked at our bags & started walking back to the others & said OUTLOUD "it's a Nike bag" as if we were stealing. The audacity to not only be racist but to do it boldly and comfortably all because of the color of our skin just showed me what kind of trash works there. read more

I went into kate spade on Friday and the staff there was beyond amazing. They all are so sweet and very helpful. I haven't had such an amazing shopping experience as I did that day with these ladies. I'm a huge Kate Spade fan and this has always been my favorite outlet store, I've purchased so many items from this store. I have an account with them, and I'm even on their VIP list to receive information about the latest collections. I've always been treated respectfully but today was a different story. My friend and I came in and we're greeted at first. This lady was helping us out but then towards the end it became clear they thought we were going to be stealing because they kept offering everything we picked up to be held up front & kept mentioning the extra discount area even though we already went through the entire store. When we went to check out, a different lady helped us and didn't ask if we had an account with them, and just threw the bag and wallet in the paper bag with no wrapping at all not even tissue paper sticking out. I understand stealing is a huge issue and they have to protect themselves but this was also layered with disrespect because of what we were wearing. Another review mentioned Pretty Woman and that's sad that this is not the first time someone's experienced that treatment at this store. Let's support woman it's already hard enough already for us in this world!! read more

I was in the store trying to do a return. I advised the associate that I have a picture of my original receipt. She told me that without a barcode on the bottom of the receipt that she could not complete my return. I advised her that you will only need the numbers off of the receipt or either the original form of purchase, which was my credit card in order to complete a return. she then advised me that since I did not have my receipt that I would have to get a store credit. I told her that you do not need a barcode in order to do a return. You just need the numbers from off of the receipt and/or the original form of purchase. I did not raise my voice. I kept trying to help her on how to do the return, the same way her manager came out from the back and told her how to do a return. She told me that I was being combative. I never raise my voice not once while I was trying to explain to her how to do the return. I did tell her that maybe she thought that I was being combative because I'm black telling her how to do her job. I will never go back in this store again. read more

I really loved kate spade but after this experience it makes me question their decisions as a company. Before entering, the woman at the front, older white woman with short blonde hair, had us wait outside, which was understandable because of COVID but then before entering she told my little cousin no eating in the store, because she had a little bag of pretzels in her hand. Mind you my little cousin had her mask on and bag was rolled shut. I let her know she had the bag closed but she continued to tell me to put it in my other bag with clothes that I had bought from different stores. I didn't argue and just did what she said so she would just leave us alone. Then she continued to follow us around while we looked at the purses, not in a customer service fashion. It was like a scene in a movie as she made it obvious she was creeping on us. Kate Spade really needs to go over their sensitivity training. read more

I have a Kate Spade cross body purse, the strap kept coming undone. I went online to find a replacement, and was not successful, so I contacted the Kate Spade Outlet in Folsom, and spoke to someone named Alicia. She informed me that I needed to go to a store to purchase the strap or online. I informed her that I had not had much success online. She then informed me that when bags come back damaged, that they remove the straps and have them on hand. So I went to the store and I showed Alicia my strap, she went to their back room and came back with 3 different straps that I could chose from. I chose one, and that was it. No charge for this strap. Needless to say I walked out a very happy shopper. Not to mentioned I am sure that I saved a pretty penny for a replacement strap. Thanks again Alicia. read more

Not the best experience. Shopped with my daughters and purchased a bag for my daughter as it was her birthday. Transaction was completed and came up approved, remove card - no receipt was generated. The two staff members there (Heather and Cami) did not seem to know what happened and determined that it must have not gone through. However, did show up on my credit card. They insisted that it did not go through and that it would clear off the card within 24 hours. I would have not purchased the bag but it was my daughter's birthday so had to pay on another card since the one I used one the first did not have enough funds. Not apologetic at all - Heather says "sorry I didn't make the register do that". Hmm great CS skills. I left to shop in other store but felt uneasy so went back to get their names as I expect a battle to get my money back. When I returned Cami says "do you want me to call customer service?" Heck yah why didn't you do that in the first place. Summary is that they insist my money will return but it's Friday so maybe not until Monday. Literally no apologies, no offer of a coupon etc. Absolutely horrid CS. Hopefully my money will return. read more
