I'm not sure if they had some sort of water intrusion event recently, but but there was a strong musty mildew smell soon as I walked through the door. In addition to the ice cream, I also bought some chocolate covered mango and apricot but I ended up taking that to go because I couldn't deal with the smell any longer. I tried my chocolate covered treats when I got home but unfortunately the chocolate just didn't have any taste. None whatsoever. It was rather disappointing. When I asked if she could use a new knife because I'm allergic, she and her coworker told me they couldn't use a different one since it was already contaminated. They said they use the same utensils for everything when preparing the apples and that all apples are cross-contaminated with everything in the store. I've been there multiple times and have never been told that there was a risk for allergy concerns. They were also rude when I tried to understand how everything could be contaminated with peanuts. This happened after I had already paid and was told I couldn't get a refund.
