This restaurant consistently delivers outstanding food and affordable prices. Everything is made in-house, from scratch and nothing is from frozen. The owners are friendly and have been part of the community for decades - certainly a fixture of the Town. Everything I've ordered has been very delicious but my personal favourites is the Kwong Tong Chow Mein, Egg rolls, and Honey Garlic Ribs. The Egg Drop soup and Won Ton soup are hearty and homey. You can tell the dishes are made with care and love! I highly recommend the China Palace for all occasions. Not to be missed!

Give me a couple minutes to get one cleaned and set and we'll get you seated asap". Next, the bartender came to deliver our wine and said "which of you ladies messed up and called the wrong restaurant?" ???? Again much better communication would have included "oh, Im so glad we could get you seated tonight" What an interesting way to greet customers..... I had to go to the grocery store in Exeter and was looking for pizza. I thought when I searched, this was a pizza shop but they did have other items on the menu, so I thought maybe an Italian-type place. When I pulled up, the restaurant was in this beautiful older house. After parking in the private lot, you walk through a beautiful yard around to the side. There, they have a gorgeous outside seating area. I wish I'd taken a picture. I could smell charcoal grilling meat. Smelled incredible. There were flowers and lights and just such a cute set up. The first thought in my mind was, "I want to come back and eat dinner here!" I ordered the smash burger with fries for dinner and a small, gluten-free pizza with bacon and potato for the next night. I've never had a GF bun that was so good. It held together and even had seeds on the top like a regular bun. It smelled so good, I had to take a bite in the parking lot (20 minute drive home). I warmed up the burger and fries in our little toaster oven a tad and it was just so delicious. This place has great food. And I can't wait to go eat in person and enjoy the charm of the restaurant. I haven't tried the pizza yet, but it smells and looks incredible. I even got a flourless chocolate torte for a treat. So rich and decadent. Even the whipped cream on the dessert was amazing.
