The owner offered an apology and had a conversation with the therapist about the incident she stated. No refund was ever given and all communication ceased. It is probably not worth contacting an attorney at this point. ($1600 ER bill) and many days of pain, but an expensive lesson. Higher priced massages does not necessarily equate to higher quality.

Many people do not feel comfortable speaking up in the moment, especially during a vulnerable situation like a massage. What was even more disappointing was being offered only a partial refund of $47.50 and being asked to remove my review in exchange for receiving it. Rather than addressing my concerns and taking responsibility for my experience, it felt like the business was trying to make the review disappear.
