Wow! I never leave reviews but I wish I had stumbled across this dentist much sooner. My sister in law recommended her. I can finally say that I trust a dentist. Dr. Hevrin and her staff do such an AMAZING job! They communicate well, they're gentle, and they care about you being comfortable and taken care of. There were no surprises on cost on the day of the procedure. Everything was exactly how they described. I am writing on behave of my mother Feryal Abraham and how she was taken advantage off because her age , she was taken to the court for money SHE NEVER OWEN to that dentist and shady service , BUT MY MOTHER WON THE COURT CASE and the judge dismisses the case completely because the practice of the office was substandard her what happen My name is Feryal Abraham Complaint against Kathy Hevrins, DDS Early 2022 I start having problem with my teeth at the time I have United healthcare and they allow dental coverage for $2500 to find a provider. I called my insurance my insurance give me two names of dentist who take the insurance and they are contracted with my insurance, I called the first one which was Dr. Kathy Hevrin and we were inform by the receptionist that they take that insurance. They made me an appointment and I went for the appointment. They made copy from my card , they confirmed that they take my insurance , and no copay The technician came and did x ray and look in my mouth and spoke about the plan of care that I will need a few visit to fix my teeth, which at that time I agreed Follow up appointment was made , few days later I received a call from that office to inform us that they will not take that insurance even they told me upon arrival that they take that insurance, and I was allowed to make an appointment and no payment was needed I told them I will not able to come since I have no financial mean to pay and that service should be 100% covered by my insurance and the only reason I went to that office as a new patient because they inform me they takes insurance and the insurance informed me they are contracted with that dentist I told the lady when we came for the appointment my daughter and myself they made a copy from the card. They told us they take the insurance even when we left. We never asked to make any type of payment or any type of copayment since the service will be covered, and I was scheduled for another appointment . I was in pain waiting 2-3 weeks to find another dentist I went to another dentist where my work was done and it was covered 100% by my insurance I was surprised to receive a bill from that office. We called them multiple time to inform them that they fraudulently inform us that they take the insurance. And since they are contracted with the United health care insurance they need to bill the insurance first , which they never did The lady answered the phone told us that she is Sorry that you had been told that, but you are responsible about the balance , We just called the United healthcare insurance on 6/27/24 and I got the following information. We called united health care dental department @ 1(844)275-8749 on 6/27/2024 Ref # 4269234 and spoke with Whitney and this is what the United Health care dental department told us : It shows that the plan I have was : UHC TX DUAL COMPLETE $2500 Plan A. Product ID for the plan is 191 The network called : United Health Care National Medicare Network, The provider info is listed by the name Kathy Hevrins , DDS located at that particular address at 1788 FM 157 ste 101, Mansfield TX 76063 Affective date for that network she's following is October 1st of 2018 till present (my visit to the dentist was 1/21/2022) The fees: The contract that the provider should follow is "Connection Dental Fee Schadual" ID # UHC-ROMCXCT0182 No claim was found from the dentist, it is violation to the law to reject a patient when they are members of the plane * The dentist can choose to be out of the network however kathy Hevrins , DDS never ended the contract and never filed a claim, there is no reason why she elected not to file a claim the provider could have coverage for the visit that was on Jan 21 of 2022 if she filed a claim * her name still in the directory as of today My complaints against the Kathy Heverins , DDS are 1- informing me they take insurance , then they told me ( after the service) sorry we do not take the insurance , they never bill the insurance , they kept harassing me to pay and in the end they took 74 years old lady lives on social security to the court ( first time i enter court in my life ) but after 5 visits to the court the Judge DISMISSED THE CASE on the bases of unacceptable practice of that dentist office 2- Even she is contracted with the insurance she refuse to bill the insurance and making the patient pay which against any regulation and it is unethical not to tell the patient upfront that they will not bill the insurance 3- She end filling court case against me and after 5 visits to the court the judge dismissed the case completely ( case got dismissed on 7/2/2024) the judge dismissed the case because the practice irregularity and violation i DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DENTIST OFFICE TO ANYONE SHE MAY TAKE YOU TO THE COURT FOR MONEY YOU SHOULD NOT OWE read more

I could not be more pleased with the amount of professionalism I received during my consultation. She was my second visit to get advice on cosmetic teeth surgery and my options. She was upbeat, honest and took her time. I would recommend her to everyone looking to change or looking for a new dentist in the area. I went to her because she was on my Medicare insurance. MISTAKE. She said you have an abscess, and I took antibiotic went back in a wk. was told root canal. I said think it could be sinus infection, tooth doesn't hurt. "I haven't made a mistake in 23 yrs. I'll pay for it if I'm wrong" Drilled a hole in my tooth; pulpotomy.. Fast forward out the door unfinished, hole in tooth and no one explaining what happened. Went to ENT doctor 2 days later (SINUS INFECTION, no abscess) Had to now get tooth fixed. Specialist for root canal and another doctor to complete. Out over a thousand dollars; for a perfectly good tooth. Her office was contacted by 3 different people over the course and said would send info. None was sent. Tried contacting her and she blocked my #. My Medicare savings has ended up costing me. I am very disappointed in this dentists office. I was not told up front the out of pocket expenses on two visits. I was then forced to apply for a Care Credit account wish I a horrible company. I was called a liar by the office staff and now dread having to finish a bridge they started. To make matters worse it fell out two days after it was placed. Due to the fact I was upset with them it took them two weeks to make any attempt to fix it. I would suggest steering clear. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. 1000000% recommended to anyone. My whole family uses Dr. Hevrin and we could not love her more. Personally I've been going to her since I was able to get a toy out of the treasure chest and I am 21 now. She makes the experience so great! I've heard horror stories from other people about their dentists and think to myself THANK GOD I HAVE A GOOD DENTIST. I look forward to my cleanings every 6months with Erika because I always leave with new teeth! At least it feels that way because she does an amazing job!!! read more

Ms. Hevrin, I wanted to bring to your attention some concerning issues about your office. As you well know, I have been a patient of yours for a few years now, but recently I have been so taken aback with the way business has been handled by your front office. I have been having a problem with your front office clerk about my last billing statement. I've had only two dental cleanings filed through my insurance, one for the amount of $18.00 and the other for $78.00. When I questioned her about why I was billed $78.00 and pointed out that the coding was different from my last visit (which explained the increase in price); she assured me the problem would be corrected and she would follow-up via email, but I never received anything. A week later and still no reply, I called the office to check the status. This time, I was given a different total (still way more than what I originally paid, $18.00). The clerk and I went back and forth about the bill; nothing was accomplished. This young lady has no place in the front office answering phones or let alone dealing with patients. Her attitude is horrible; she has no clue how to run a front office. This is not my first encounter with her, but I assure you it will be my last. Please take note, your front office clerk will cause more harm than good to the practice you have built-up over the years because of "someone" having a "BLIND EYE". I'm surprised knowing the type of dentist you are to even allow such nonsense. That girl is very unprofessional, ill-mannered and clearly does not know how to conduct herself with anyone she comes in contact with. This type of behavior is unacceptable. Hands down, the best dentist around! My last dental relationship ended due to inability to schedule around my work day. I did a great deal of searching before choosing Dr. Hevrin. Her staff is professional and efficient. My wait time was only a matter of minutes and once I reached the exam chair, they offered me a blanket! I adore the interaction between Dr. Hevrin and her staff. They are well trained but display a playful banter to keep you at ease. Dr. Hevrin took her time and answered all my questions. She worked with me to accomplish what I wanted at a reasonable price. I'm SO glad I found this dentist. I LOVE her!! read more

The office told us at one point they accepted our insurance (which our insurance confirmed), then proceeded to bill us for the full charge saying they were out of network. It took several months to get this sorted out (they were in network and in error), but they charged us finance charges for the months the bill was in dispute and refused to remove those charges. We will never do business with this office again and strongly encourage others to avoid this practice. read more

Dr Hevrin has been our family dentist for many years now and we love her. She has always been sensitive to our needs regarding pain management and she is proactive in making sure we are aware of any issues we need to be concerned about and tells whether something can wait or if it needs to be dealt with sooner. We trust her with our dental care and would certainly refer friends and family to her without hesitation. She is usually good for a laugh and you will always get to hear a great mix of music depending on who's day it is to pick. BTW we have recently moved about 30 minutes away and wouldn't think of changing dentists for a minute. read more

Dr. Hevrin attempted a root canal on my molar. It was corrected by an endodontist with an additional procedure that cost an additional $1,500. Dr. Hevrin never apologized for the faulty procedure or offered any financial incentives to benefit me. Dr. Hevrin no longer treats me as I will no longer see her. read more
