Everyone was pretty courteous and there was a minimum of chit-chat as we moved through check after check. Doctor came through about 2/3rds of the way, did a check of the eye photos and looked into the eyes, checked a few other items and laid out some straightforward vision items. Front desk deals with the billing, charges (copays) and collects upfront. While I prefer getting a receipt right away, they told me they'd email me instead, which took a bit of work - I had to actually go back and get it in-person the next time we visited since a promised email version never was sent to me - a blemish in an otherwise good experience.

I find him to be very impatient and just rushes you along. My last visit the Dr had an issue with my eyes as they were very cloudy and I had trouble reading the test sheet - He sent in a "intern"?? put drops in my eyes and had me wait...The Dr came in (another 20 minutesor so) still could not read the letters.I was told to take these special drops he gave me for 2 days and his office would contact me - 4 DAYS LATER - no one reached oout to me.......When I called - the Assistant said "Your eyes are fine - no need to come back!!" This was quite possibly the most frustrating appointment I've ever had. When I called to schedule a…read morenew patient appointment I specifically asked the woman over the phone to double check if my vision insurance was covered by the office. I provided my group number, member ID, and all other important pieces of information. She reassured me multiple times that my specific insurance was accepted by them. I got to my appointment 30 minutes early to ensure I had time to fill out any new forms, etc and then waited another 30 minutes to see the optometrist (nothing wrong with that) so in total I was sitting in the waiting room for an hour (no one else was being helped or was taking up the time of the front desk staff). After my whole exam was finished, the front desk woman told me that my insurance was out of network and did not seem at all apologetic or helpful in explaining what happened. I understand the stress of working in an office, however I am extremely frustrated and annoyed at the lack of care or concern from the staff. I also got no response from the woman at the desk when I asked why my insurance wasn't run for the whole HOUR I was waiting. I was not blown away by the staff, optometrist, or customer service in the slightest. I will obviously not be returning here due to my insurance issues but I wouldn't want anyone else to waste their time going to this place. There are plenty of other competent and more personable eye facilities in the area.
