I do not recommend asking your kid or signing him up here because as a kid who played here before the teams and schedule are so unfair and disorganized.the only times I was happy was walking off the field. And the umpires are horrible read more

My son has played here for 5 seasons. We started on Shetland 4/5 and now Shetland 6. We are happy with the changes and upgrades being made. The parking easy which makes it so nice. read more

If I could give this organization negative stars I would. It's a shame that a place like this can ruin sports for kids. On top of that it's a male dominated sexist organization with coaches (aka dads that think way too highly of themselves and are on power trips ) that continually single out kids of singles moms. My son played for other leagues and we have never felt so uncomfortable and unwelcomed then at Katy pony. And sadly I had other moms warn me but didn't listen...Still waiting for my money back after we got bullied off of a team. read more

Lots of area for great baseball play & plenty of fields to get enthusiast satiated. Too many stray dogs getting into the playing areas, which takes away from the overall enjoyment of this place. Considering the amount of little children at any given time, this truly concerns me. Great place to be on a sunny yet breezy day. A great time to be had at little league games here. read more

This is a good baseball place to start out practicing baseball their are so really good coaches and staffs here.

Do NOT sign your child up here. This has to be the worst organization ever. If your child is not on a board members team - you have no chance. Rules and tournaments are changed to the advantage of Board Member Teams. Horrible!!!! read more

Communication, Communication, Communication. Lack of communication to the players consistently across the board. Harold being the biggest issue and the reason none of my children will play Pony again. Issues with changing of the schedules without notification night before or day of resulting in a forfeit and almost missing another game during tournament play. But my favorite is the Rain Hotline which we all got to experience many times this season. I actually might miss the absurdity of this. Rain Hotline: All fields are closed today due to Rain. Which day you ask? Who knows. According to Harold after I asked if he could PLEASE state the date, he stated no. That If his message was different than the day before then he updated it for today. What if I didn't call the day before you ask? Well, too bad. Lets play "Can i deduce any date from the rambling that transpires on his hotline message?" Multiple moms asked the same, all denied rudely. Another fav: Rain Hotline: All fields will begin play at 10am. (no date, but thank GOD i called the day before and his voice sounded different so I figure he updated it.. no joke). Ok, great. We were suppose to play at 2pm. What was failed to be mentioned was because play would start at 10am that all games would be postponed by an hour. I asked if he could please state that on the message as most players showed up an extra hour early for all games. Harold stated that I should have known all games started at 9am and because he said 10am that everything would be postponed. I only had one kid playing at 2pm, how do I know that? Check the website he tells me. Which means I would have to scroll thru all of the other teams to determine that they really should have started play at 9am therefore deducing from his mind games that our game was delayed. Lets not forget that in all of these conversations he is RUDE. Also, let me state that I am not making any of this up. Me and some of the other moms would have to listen repeatedly and then group text to determine if the fields were open and have to check their site multiple times a day to make sure they didn't change our schedule. Horribly ran, dime you to death, save yourself and your family the stress and just say NO. And if you are ever bored, call the hotline. We did sometimes just for the fun of it all. read more

Despite the bad reviews on here, I have had only good experiences and memories at the Katy Pony Fields. Nice, down-to-earth people, friendly coaches and good concessions! My two sons have been playing here since they were 4 years old. They are both now in high school, and still love baseball! I recommend Katy Pony Baseball to all of my friends and relatives. read more

I laugh at the negative reviews below. Katy Pony is a competitive baseball league if you are looking for that. Your child will learn real baseball. The rules are set, not changed. Division directors are not allowed to coach in the same division. Why would this be a complaint by anyone? Board members can coach their kids team, but they have to draft just like anyone else. We have had fun in Katy Pony and our son has developed into a good little player. Select baseball = ultra competitive, Katy Pony= competitive, Katy Little League = average, YMCA = just for fun. This is one of the worst leagues that I have every had my child play in. The directors are rude. They tell the coachess what to do but they don't coach a team themselves. I pity any coach or team that has a board of director child on their team. I found a new place for my son to play and he loves it. Plus it is cheaper and the uniforms are provided. By uniforms I mean shirt, pants, hats, belts and socks. read more

This league has the rudest person handling the registration. I called him and left a message asking about late registration for my 7yr old son. He called me back but i was feeding my kids so i returned his call 5 min later. I said that i was sorry i missed his call and he starts talking down to me telling me....no you didnt miss my call you just didnt want to answer it then said dismissively they're still doing late registration on a case by case basis but I will have to go there and register him the next night with cash or check in hand. I ask if he had space and he said they still had space. So now I get here and he rolls his eyes and now says for me to leave my check and he will put me on a waiting list if there is one. I said no I have cash so i need to know if theres a wait list before giving cash to him. he just stares at me with this mean look and says hes 7 theres a waitlist. Why couldnt he have told me this before. Just so unprofessional and so rude from the get go. Good luck getting past this gatekeeper because thats pretty much the deal here. I dont even want to sign my kiddo here in the fall if I have to deal with him. read more
