I really appreciate when someone is honest and blunt if they have to be right away. Give me the info and I'll make the best decision for me and that's what they did. But then they went above and beyond. They warned it could take a while... they warned it could be quite pricey if certain conditions existed. I agreed to all upfront because I wanted the job done right as my number one priority and I got the feeling these guys were going to do just that. Imagine my surprise when it was finished way quicker than I expected and for lowest end of the price range they gave me. It's been a few weeks and absolutely satisfied with the job done! It freaked me out. I tested it a few more times and the moment I passed 2800rpm it happened again without fail. I checked the Yelp reviews for mechanics in the area and these guys seemed to be the best. When I called in, they said they were slammed but they can still take me. When I arrived, their lot was full of parked cars waiting to be repaired (so they're popular, that's a good start). I dropped off my car on Wednesday evening. On Thursday at 10:45am, I got a call with a detailed diagnosis and an estimate, which was perfectly reasonable, about half the price of what I was expecting. They said it would be ready at 3:00pm. At 2:00pm, they called to say it was ready. Check engine light off, problem solved (it was a damaged V-Tec Solenoid that they replaced), and an oil refill and I was on the road quicker than I'd imagined. Friendly service, super efficient and honest, no scamming or ripping off here. I'm a fan.

Wrong assumption! They told me it would take 4+ hours since they were busy, and cost me 59 dollars to have it repaired. I left, and stopped at Belle tire on Monroe in Sylvania. Bob (2nd assistant manager) greeted me, and said they were very busy, but I could wait, (about two hours) or make an appointment and come back, AND.... they would do it for FREE!!! That is their policy! I brought the car back since it was only a slow leak, and lived nearby. As promised, they repaired the tire, and had me back on the road in a very reasonable amount of time, (they were STILL busy). I will return to them when I need any type of work, and highly recommend them for their customer service. Other customers that I saw and talked to there all seemed quite satisfied as well. Spent the night in a local hotel and called Toledo Auto Care the next morning to set up an appointment the next day. Turned out it was just some dirty oil that needed changing. The mechanic showed me the brakes and let me know that they were going to need changing sometime in the near future, but it wasn't anywhere close to the in-your-face sales pitch that some auto shops give you. I left Toledo Auto Care with a healthy care and a healthier state of mind. They treat their customers right here, and if I'm in the area again this will be my number one choice for any car repairs.
