    Pastrami

We went here for lunch and had a great meal! My friends both had the Chili and said it was I great. I had the Pastrami and it was amazing. The Matzo Ball soup was outstanding.

It was an incredible deli place with outstanding service provided by incredible and shiny Nellie. Food is really good, we were eating at this place a lot during our stay in Philly. Highly recommending. Great food, great prices, nice place, incredible service.

This place has nothing to do with the iconic Jewish deli in New York or any deli for that matter. They are making their sandwiches with pre-package supermarket lunchmeat. Their Italian hoagies taste nothing like a hoagie. Me and my wife were so disappointed when we looked at and bit into these pathetic bland sandwiches when we got home. Save your money and just buy some lunchmeat and bread and make your own sandwiches instead of throwing your money away on this place. They give you a pickle on the side so I guess they think this makes them a deli. This is not a authentic Jewish deli. It's not a deli at all it's one of those corner store hood spots you pay $5 for a sandwich but theirs taste better than Katz Deli Kitchen charging $15. Katz is just located in a better area charging more money because of the location.

    NY egg cream, not bad

I have some issues with this place but overall it's an okay experience. Their food runs on the expensive side and they have a menu that's on the smaller side, but most things I've had here are good. The corned beef Reuben stands out as a solid pick, and my husband says their pastrami is top notch. I wasn't impressed with their egg creams, but it's nice that they offer them. The location is very convenient to city line avenue, so it's an easy pick when I'm in the area. A true A-OK spot.

    Heaven on Rye!

Ok, so I want to start by saying that when I first saw the line at the door then the prices... I almost fainted and left.... but as soon as I saw someone walk by with what I believe was the most beautiful pastrami sandwich I'd ever seen... I knew I had to stay. As you enter the door, you are "greeted" by a large man who gives you a ticket and sternly explains that under no circumstances are you to lose said ticket. (I dont know what the penalty would be... but I wasnt taking any chances, so I held onto that ticket with my dear life!) Then you get into one of the many "cutter" lines where you witness the mouth-watering display of a young man cutting your beautiful pastrami right before your eyes. And oh! What a sight to behold! And then!!!! After drooling all the way to the table...and you are finally able to sink your teeth into this work of art.... your tongue does a little dance and you experience multiple orgasms!! I mean... one does not simply EAT this delight.... You make sweet love to it! I'm pretty sure Marvin Gaye wrote songs about this sandwich!!!! And if you really want to feel weak in the knees... add some Cole slaw and fries to your meal!!! I'm telling you... I am putting this on my Christmas list from now on!!! Can I add more stars?!?!

I would have to say, quality wise, this was probably the best tasting breakfast we have had during our visit to Philadelphia. Everything tasted so fresh, even the eggs. Our server was super nice and attentive to our needs. I got the Corned beef hash platter, my gf got her usual omelet and my sister got herself a variety of different side items. My only turn off was the window we were sitting in front of. It was a large picture window , but the bottom 1/3 is blocked by hedge bushes. A view would of been nice during dining, but really no big deal. The exterior of the building looks like it's a hospital or medical center, you wouldn't know there is a deli there unless you read the signage again. But overall it was great food and we will come back on our next visit.

Decent food for the price, you get way more than you can eat. Probably better to split it with another person.

Katz Deli like the real world famous Katz Deli in NYC?

I'll give Chelsea the benefit of the doubt here, but I am really surprised if that is true.

Such an awesome variety of foods including upscale and local options! I love that they carry Marchiano's and Pierogi Kitchen in their freezers! They also have your standard corner store chips, drinks, local snacks, and some grocery items plus some nice pastas, sauces, an entire hot sauce wall, etc. The hoagies and sammiches are delicious and I am constantly stalking their FB page to see what the latest special is and I'll usually just go and get that. I have had so many options from standard Italian hoagies to breakfast sammich, to brisket specials, roast pork, and everything in between! I have always been extremely pleased with anything I've gotten here and they are always adding new options (they now have soup, wings, fries, and other specials!). They also have great deli items, I love the mac salad! They used to be cash only which was never an issue for me because they have an ATM on site. But as of last week they now take credit cards! My only complaint is that they are on the pricey side - my hoagie + waffle fries + drink set me back almost $30. But I love supporting a new local business and the pricing has never deterred me - just something to keep in mind.
