Build Your Own Chicken Cutlet Sandwich

The food here has just continued to get better the longer they've been open! I got a build your own chicken cutlet hoagie for lunch. It was massive and they did not skimp on any of the toppings.

Clean, new, and super friendly! This place is a deli and food shop that also sells other goodies. Italian was solid, on par with the high competition in the area. However, the chicken sharp was odd; they do give a lot of chicken (yum), but one half of the hoagie was insanely, incredibly salty (to the point where it was inedible) while the other half was just fine. ~$30 for two hoagies, which is a little higher than the other delis nearby. Overall would recommend - just hold the salt when ordering!

Great, imaginative sandwiches served on fresh Liscio's rolls. Not much seating, but great for take-out. Boar's head cold-cuts. Also a deli selling great local stuff like Pieogi Kitchen products.

Decided to try Umbria gourmet after seeing all the beautiful posts on local social media. I got two mixed cheese hoagies. There was very little cheese, three thin slices of tomato, tons of lettuce, and kind of a lack of flavor (no oregano) . $25 for two hoagies. I was expecting them to be packed with cheese. but no, I was disappointed and won't be back.

    Turkey Hoagie on Seeded Roll

Got a Turkey hoagie with jalapeño pepper-Jack, pickles, banana peppers, mayo, and lettuce. The turkey was cut really thin and the cheese was bomb. Seeded roll also a great addition of course. Excited to come back and try the cutlet!

Ube ice cream was excellent but for$9 kind of on a small side. If price was cheaper I'd give it 5 but don't think I can afford it too often

This place is awesome. Hot sandwiches and hoagies are A+. And they have a really good selection of counter items and food from local places.

It really works. It cost $12.99 and it ended up landing at 9/10, which currently ranks it 8th out of 76 grocery store birds I've tried. An ELITE bird. All the staff there were very friendly too, and it's fairly loud in there like your typical local deli. I would consider going back again if I'm in the area or some friends are going.

Hostess-very rude, no smile, barely spoke up to us. we prayed she wasn't our waitress too At the table -trash on the floor from previous diner(s) Our waitress was super nice. We ordered a Corned Beef special and a Roast beef special. When they arrived we couldn't tell the difference. I've never had such dark brown corned beef served to me Neither sandwich had any taste or flavor, like they forgot to put the pickling spice on. Maybe they aren't making the meats in house anymore? Pickle Bar - wow, you might as well just serve us the few sparse items that you now offer. Disappointing Overall- we travel a distance to come here and will take Hymies off our list. I've been a customer since Barson's on Haverford Ave in the 70s I had a sense that the love and care was no longer there. Sad
