This was an unbelievable tour! We did the adventure raft with snorkeling to the na poli coast with Skye and Leon as our guides. Our group of 7 we're suppose to be hiking the Kalauai trail this weekend and they were able to point out the parts of the trail we would have been Hiking. They went above and beyond and our group really appreciates the extra mile they went for us. We got caught in a really bad rain storm on the way back but he never once looked worried. He had a continuous smile on his face which made me never worry once about his ability to get us home safe. He played great music that went right along with the storm. Thank you for a great adventure and I will definitely recommend this tour group in the future. Yup, Captain Kalani-he is soooo HOT and he DEFINITELY KNOWS how to drive that raft boat with EXACT precision through all those tight perimeters at ALL Na Pali Coastline sea caves! AWESOME!!!! The only negative I find is the violent jarring riding in the raft-type boat due to the strong, unpredictable, drift ocean currents. BUT-I was warned before riding that boat for 4 hours! AND I did sign that consent form . . . Captain Kalani was sooo cool racing with over a 100 spinner dolphin pods, stopping by the Barking Sands Military Base shoreline watching the dolphin pod babies, cruising through this most memorable 360 degree towering sea cave, see the filming location rock archway for Planet of the Apes, etc. I must admit it was kinda strange seeing Koke'e Outlook from the Na Pali Coastline.The day before, I was seeing the the Na Pali Coastline from Koke'e Outlook Point! I loved the relaxing walking tour at the Na Pali Secret Beach with Kealoha who gave me my first taste of Noni fruit. My mouth was buzzing from taking a bite of the Noni fruit! Kealoha said not to eat no more than that one bite because the fruit is quite toxic and must be soaked in water for at least 72-96 hours to dilute the toxicity levels. I liked the big sandwich lunch Captain Kalani served with the huge assortment of fresh cut fruit platter, ice cold juices, and sodas, too. We ate our lunch underneath the shaded palm frons awning, aka-Palapa facing majestic baby blue ocean hues and the 2000 foot cliffs off on the right side of Secret Beach's Ancient Hawaiian Village. There was more than enough food to go for third helpings! We walked around the original Hawaiian village and met "Auntie" who was camping and working with several scientists/botanists for over 7 days trying to preserve all the endangered Hawaiian plant species. Auntie was really cool, very informative, and genuinely caring when she spoke about how fragile the land around Kauai truly is at risk. The ferral goats that roam the land are killing the indigenous Hawaiian plants. Captain Kalani dropped off food and water for Auntie and the scientists while they are cleaning up the ferral plants and ferral goat poop. Snorkling at the Secret Beach was sooo romantic! The water is very calm around the Secret Beach, strange by oh sooo-Ahhhhh . . . Next time, I will wear a thick waist gym belt when I ride the raft ride again in the future, so my back will not be in severe pain hurting. I had to go to the Kauai VA Hospital to get a shot of Torodol for my back after the boat ride the next day because the boat ride just jarred my back way too much. I had to get a second shot of Torodol once I arrived at Oahu at Tripler VA Hospital a week and half later after my first shot at the Kauai VA Hospital in Lihue, too because the jarring was just too intense! My Oahu Tripler VA doctor gave me 500 mg of Naproxen because the boat ride left me in severe pain for weeks. BUT, I just didn't care because I had way TOO MUCH FUN with Captain Kalani and his crew! If you visit Kauai during the time the Kilauea Trail is closed off, then this boat tour is a must. Made my trip. I had really wanted to see the Napali coast and was so bummed when I got to the island to learn the best part of the North side was shut down. I don't think I could have ended up on a better boat. I had a pretty high and low trip on the island and Kauai Sea Tours was icing. The vibes were so awesome, the crew worked so hard and were constantly smiling and helping and passing out drinks and snacks, and Captain Kauai (the name of our boat Captain) was the man. He never ever stopped telling stories about the history of Kauai, I learned so much! Facts on point! He's like an AI boat Captain... think he's part Hawaiian and part Wikipedian. The waters were rough that day, so we weren't able to scuba, but Captain pulled a 180 on us... Literally turned 180! He took us to the caves on the Catamaran and played sappy slow songs as couples were blessed by the cave waterfalls. No joke, no other catamaran got close to the caves. We got so close I could almost touch the rock! The food was so good! I just loved everything about my experience. It was great for kids but really adventurous for adults. Signed up my family for the Na Apali coast snorkeling tour and due to weather we were not able to snorkel. I couldn't understand why it wasn't canceled or rescheduled, saw a couple dozen spinner dolphins a couple of breaching whales in the distance and 1/2 the boat puking due to the conditions. The crew were great but after spending $920 and no snorkeling it was very disappointing. I sent an email in hopes we could be refunded part of the money but no one contacted us. read more

Booked this trip on a whim while out shopping and it ended up being the highlight of our trip (beat the helicopter tour we took by miles.) Kauai and the crew were truly amazing. Entertaining and accommodating. I loved the mixed of history and comedy commentary. I always enjoy learning about the island, especially the local legends. They served good simple drinks and great food. The views were spectacular! The captain knows his stuff and showed us incredible views. We took the catamaran tour yesterday for my daughter's birthday along the Na Pali coastline. It was BEAUTIFUL!! The staff was amazing and took great care of everyone on the boat. We were a little bit sea sick and Kim and Matt took such good care of us, checking on my daughter & myself often, offering ice chips, peppermint oil and so much aloha. My eight year old son had a BLAST! We stayed at the bow almost the entire trip riding all the big waves & getting splashed. My poor daughter was ill and stayed in back with a few others who also weren't feeling too great. They offer kama'aina discount if you live here too. The captain was nice & very knowledgeable & Ka'eo, I think was his name was joking around with my son which was cute. One of the main things that drew me to visit Kauai was the Na Pali Coast. I came across the Kauai Sea Tours raft ride and knew that was the way to see it. It was absolutely fantastic. The crew was nice and friendly and offered good information on the island. The day we went turned out well because we were able to go into the sea caves and the waves were enough where it was just fun (meaning I didn't feel like I needed to hold on for dear life). When we were out, a pod of dolphins were in the area so the captain detoured a bit towards them - it was so cool. The coast was truly gorgeous, and seeing it on a raft versus a catamaran was something special. Showed up at 645 am on 2/9, captain Greg at 715 am tells us we wont be going up to Napali Coast bc of bad weather. Gave us the option to reschedule or cancel. We were told the south part of the island is also gorgeous and has good snorkeling. That was a lie! The snorkeling was the worst, there was nothing to see. The southern coast line is nothing close to gorgeous. We want our money back! If your tour cant go to napali, cancel or rebook. The crew on the lucky lady was very nice. My boyfriend and I had the best 4/5 hours with Kauai Sea Tours on their snorkel raft to the Napali Coast! We didn't know who was open last minute during our spontaneous trip to Kauai from Oahu during the Covid craziness as everything was still closed in the beginning of August. Luckily while we were eating dinner at Kauai beer company? the manager recommended us calling Kauai Sea Tours. My boyfriend called the office and the owner happily said there was availability the very next day. We woke up bright and early and were met with Captain Shaked and DJ/bartender/comedian/best co captain ever Noah. They welcomed us with open arms while making sure to endorse Covid procedures making us feel safe and comfortable. I sat front row the entire ride and loved every minute of it. My boyfriend bought me this adventure package for my birthday and said he loved nothing more than seeing me smile in the caves, snorkeling under the water, and catching air on our way back to shore. Went today with my husband on the morning tour. We had a wonderful time! Saw spinner dolphins AND bottle-nose, though apparently the latter are not common. Husband saw a whale, I missed it, but still cool!. We saw sea turtles and of course lots of fish while snorkeling. The crew was very helpful, noticing what was needed ahead of time. Definitely listen to the safety talk. We had captain Greg, Jane, and two other guys... I don't remember their names, but they were great, too!! We happened to chat with Jane in particular. Apparently we got a really good day for it, relatively calm, and only 1 person was sick (a little girl). It can be rough at other times. Take your dramamine, some say even the night before, and then again in the morning. I used the little wrist-pressure devices, and did ok, probably about 8/10. Felt queasy for a few minutes on the way there, and about 10 minutes on the way back. Helps to keep sipping ginger ale (they had a cooler full of sodas you could take as needed) or a little snack here & there. Sit at back of boat for calmer ride. At least that helped me. Snorkeling was a great spot. Saw beautiful fish. I'd go again. But if you do get seasick, just be forewarned. read more

Fantastic catamaran cruise to Napali Coast. Have wanted to take this 4 hour voyage for a long time and finally got to do it today. The scenery was much more majestic than we could have imagined, and our photos will never do justice to the live experiences we enjoyed. The crew went above and beyond to make passengers feel welcome. There was no shortage of food and beverages. Each crew member was engaging, super friendly, and genuinely seemed to enjoy the experiences they were sharing. One thing might be improved in the future: the speaker system was not adequate. The captain, Greg, had many great observations and points to make. Unfortunately, though, while the vessel was moving it was very hard to hear him. It would have been nice to hear more of Greg had to say, but still doesn't detract from a 5-star rating! read more

Amber, John, and Evan were terrific the whole trip! I booked the 'Imiloa Express Na Pali Snorkel Tour at 6:45 AM HST. If you can wake up I'd recommend this time since dolphins usually come in the morning time and during these months whales are almost promised a sight to see. Plus you get back by noon so if you have the energy you can check out the Waimea Canyon that's nearby or you can drive and check out the rest of the island. As for the actual boat ride the crew offers you drinks, fruit, a coffee cake for breakfast and a turkey or veggie wrap with chips, and a drink for lunch. There are two bathrooms and you are seated the whole time. The views were amazing, the water when snorkeling was fresh and beautiful with so many fish you could see. Now if you get seasick I took ginger chews and I usually can handle a catamaran or other boats but I think the trip being 4 hours made it a little different. I ended up getting seasick but the crew was very kind and handled the situation amazingly. If you are looking for an amazing experience while seeing the beautiful Napali Coast I would highly recommend Kauai Sea Tours. They were one of the most affordable options and provided excellent customer service and I loved how they provided information on the Hawaiian culture. Truly terrible, avoid at all costs - Nonexistent covid protocol - Threatened/disturbed wildlife - Quality of food and drink was abysmal - No snorkeling offered - No sailing to speak of, despite heavy marketing of the "sail boat" - Misrepresentation of cruise This company relies on marketing that completely misrepresents the experience it provides, then falls back, repeatedly, on the fine print, eg. "conditions permitting," to excuse poor quality and dishonest business practices. Our cruise was on August 16th, 2021, after which I had two conversations with the management. During my first call with a purported manager, Jessie, On August 30th, 2021 I enumerated my complaints regarding the cruise. I felt that she listened, she took notes and claimed that she would forward her notes to the general manager. She promised that I would hear from either the general manager, or the captain, regarding next steps. 21 days passed and I received no word, written or otherwise, so I called Kauai Sea Tours again on September 20th, 2021. This time, the conversation was different. Firstly, Jessie claimed that, despite promising outreach from the general manager or the captain, a resolution had been reached during our previous conversation, and that no follow up was required on their end. After reminding her that she had promised to follow up, she then changed her tune, claiming that the general manager and the captain had discussed my feedback and had determined that no wrong-doing had occurred. I requested a partial refund, to which I received a response, "No refunds period." Kauai Sea Tours management was given ample opportunity to make this unpleasant situation right with a small concession and, perhaps, an apology, but opted not to. The bottom line is that this is a cash cow business that exploits consumers and idyllic Kauai alike. Their dishonest business practices and poor treatment of their consumers is astonishing. After our experience on the tour and following, I have reported this company to all available consumer protection agencies. There are many, many other tour companies who offer infinitely better and more honest services, and exceptional tour guides really care about teaching people to respect Hawaii and all it has to offer. read more

Very friendly/attentive staff and amazing views. However, this tour did not turn out as expected. Advertised as a dinner cruise, this was more like an adventure cruise. Sailing in a catermeran, waters were very choppy, and multiple people were puking (buckets in use all over the boat). If you decided that you wanted to eat (assuming you weren't sick), you ate from the chair you were sitting in - staff was more than willing to help you get your meals. However, this is the first dinner cruise I've been on that had no tables. Had this not been advertised as a "dinner cruise", my rating would be four stars / maybe five. Again, great staff, amazing views, nice photo ops for your IG account. Note to business: Might be better if it was advertised as "food included", rather than "dinner". IMO, dinner implys something that isn't possible on this boat (just because I am eating at the dinner hour, doesn't mean it's "dinner"). read more

WHAT A WONDERFUL TIME! JR and SKY are amazing! Easy going and a wealth of knowledge. We rode the zodiacs with a 7:15am meet time. Be on time, as everyone else is ready to roll. After a quick summary of rules, we were off. The boats are fast and fun! We were told we had great weather. Found ourselves holding on to the ropes on the side, but there's also a rope for your feet (foot belt). The foot belt felt really secure. Highly recommend this tour group. Our group enjoyed this tour so much, we ran into multiple people from it at their recommended best poke at Ishihara aka we trusted them. I found out about this company after I already booked another tour. However, when I heard that they have a Beach Land Raft Adventure, I had to cancel the other one and book with Kauai sea tours. It is definitely the best way to experience beautiful Na Pali Coast. You feel like you're a real explorer as you raft is taking you there. We saw a lot of dolphins on the way, and they even performed a show for us, jumping out of the water, making funny stunts in the air. We got off at one of the beaches and did a tour of a Hawaiian village. It was fascinating to hear about the history of the island and the culture of its people. The tour also included snorkeling. Our tour guide, CJ, was a really nice guy who made the whole trip seem like a great adventure, telling stories and making jokes. Captain Ke'aloha was amazing and very skilled. It was as a but scary at first, but once I realized that he knows what he's doing, I could relax and really enjoy the tour. Kauai is a very unique and incredibly beautiful island, and Na Pali Coast visit should definitely be on your bucket list if it isn't yet! read more

I'm glad I toughed out this tour, but it wasn't as enjoyable as I hoped it would be. Definitely not their fault, but if you're looking for a more comfortable, less "adventurous" ride, I suggest a different kind of boat tour. I was aware that it was a raft boat but I didn't know how bumpy and rough it would be the ENTIRE trip. You sit on the sides of the boat and hold onto a rope line with your hands and one with your foot under another rope line. Considering the tour was about 4 hours of travel and only about 1 hour of leisure, it could be pretty hard on your palms/hands/feet and butt. Now add wind, salt water hitting your face (if you're sitting in the back) and the beating sun and it could become a verrrrry long 5 hours. Snorkeling was okay. I've had better experiences. Again, probably not their fault. Saw some dolphins along the way and schools of fish during our session. Food was very basic. Ham and turkey sandwiches with a small bag of chips and a cookie. Good selection of drinks. By the time snorkeling and lunch was finished, you feel pretty exhausted and just want to get back, but for some reason, the captain takes breaks along the way back. Not sure if it was to fill time or if taking breaks was obligated, but it makes the trip feel a little longer than it needs to be. The best part was riding through the caves and the open ceiling cave which was beautiful! The only suggestion I have is to add adult sized life vest jackets. Not only the one goes around your neck, but the one that has clips. I'm not a great swimmer and would have felt more comfortable wearing the common life jacket that is offered to the kids. I have a pretty small frame and asked if I could wear a kids vest but the captain said no. The price was $145 a person but it's more of a $99 (at most) per person kind of tour. read more

While in Kauai, the mornings were typically calmer, so we decided to do the morning Catamaran/Snorkel tour on the Lucky Lady. Captain Greg, and the whole crew (CJ, Nate and Kai) were AMAZING! They were all very knowledgeable about the island, wildlife, the sea...we couldn't come up with a question to stump them. What's more, they were all super attentive and working hard to make sure everyone had a good trip. They helped us spot wildlife (of which there was a TON!), made sure everyone had snacks/drinks, tended to the seasick passengers. They were also genuinely fun and pleasant people to be around for the day. I can't say enough good things about them all. Without a doubt, take a trip with this outfit, you won't regret it! P.S. We booked on the Northside (Hanalei) through their "info booth", though in the winter, the trip runs out of the south side (Port Allen). The gal at the info booth was great. She helped us find a tour (even though we booked kind of last minute) and helped us figure out which day was best to sail. That said, you can also book direct through Kauai Sea Tours website for $10 cheaper. I didn't mind paying the extra bit for the help though. read more
