We were traveling through Savanah from NC and got a nail in our tire . Both locations refused to help us . Too busy . Weren't nice . We changed our own tire and drove somewhere else . I would give this place zero stars. In January 2022 I brought my car here for a simple oil change and tire rotation. my appointment was at 9am. when I got there the woman at the desk said it would be ready in an hour. an hour passed and some guy came out and told me I need 2 new tires, brakes and a new battery. He quoted me a price and said it would only take 1.5 hours. I agreed on everything. 2 hours passed and I asked the woman at the desk how much longer it would be. She went to the back to ask the mechanic and was gone for at least 30 mins. When she came back she told me it wouldn't be much longer. I waited another hour and decided to walk across the street and get some food thinking my car would be ready by time I got back. I was gone for maybe an hour. Came back asked the woman at the desk how much longer. She went to the back and was gone for along time. When she came back to the desk she didn't even acknowledge me. about 30 mins later I asked her again and the same thing happened. At 5pm the "mechanic" come to me and said they put the wrong brakes on the car and he needed to go to another city to pick up the right ones. He said they would discount somethings. My car was finally ready around 6. They discounted me the tire rotation. When I got to my car I noticed they didn't even do the tire rotation. I would definitely recommend going somewhere else. Even if you have to pay a little more. This place is horrible and the desk woman and "mechanics" don't seem very knowledgeable or appear to even care about their jobs. I contacted custom service and they were less than helpful as well. Save yourself the time and money and go elsewhere. read more

Well Kaufman tire in Pooler got me fuq up this morning! Their only job was to change my oil and put my s*it back on right. Please tell me why I wake up to a garage floor full of oil??!! I immediately call the store to tell let them know I was on my way in and it need to be fixed right away. I was then told to hold on so he can see if anyone remembered me!!! Appalling really, took my car in for tires. I maybe put 10,000 mile on it a year if that so I just wanted something inexpensive. The lady who was helping me asked which car was mine when I handed the keys over and I pointed out to the lot and told her it was the hybrid SUV. This lady looked at me and said to me "Oh! It's a hybrid!? You need to have a special ECO tire for hybrids!" I may be an idiot but I'm not stupid. My family has owned a highly successful shop up north for the last 35 years and I myself had my L1 master tech cert. Tires are tires. I hope that lady does not work there anymore. Auto shops get a bad rap for being dishonest for that exact reason. I will never be going back and I have already given others a heads up to never step foot in that place. Made an appointment and showed up 30 minutes early only to be told by Karisma that there were 20 tires ahead of me even with an appointment. They couldn't take care of me. 3 hires until close and they couldn't honor my appointment? People in back were not working. Poor management, I won't go back there! read more

Mike H. I went to Kauffman Tire in Pooler yesterday for a routine oil change. I have done this several times (5-6) before. I was greeted with a smile as usual and that was the best thing that happened. I was asked what I would like and I said an oil change. Typical questions followed, synthetic or synthetic blend? I said no just a standard oil change 5W30. The guy behind the counter said he only has synthetic or synthetic blend. I said that I have got this same oil change many times before at this location. I just want a standard oil change. He said let me look up what kind of oil you truck takes. I said ok. Then I was blown away with his next question. He asked me if I was talking about diesel oil?! WTH!!! I said no that is a gas truck you have it in your system!! If you put diesel oil in my truck you are going to kill it! He stammered and tried to laugh it off. It took him several more minutes and he finally said alright I have it. It will be $44.99. I said I have never paid more that $34.00 at this same location!!! No thank you. Train your Staff and lower your prices. I will not be back. BTW - went to another local store $29.99 and out the door with my standard oil change in less than 30 minutes. Never again. Called the 912 number and spoke to a person about tires and he had several options along with some special. He said come on up as they were not that busy (1.30 pm) When arrived in the parking lot and looked inside there were only two customers sitting on chairs and thought this is great. I entered and was greeted by an older gentleman with a big gold ring on his left finger who never mentioned his name and no name tag. I told him that I spoke to a Brian and quoted him the tires we had spoken about on the phone. His reply was "there is no Brian here you must have called another number not us" Ok I said, but I did call the Pooler 912 number to which he replied " oh that probably went through to customer serves. Nothing to do with us. Ok I said. He asked me for my name and number to enter in the computer and could see that I had spoked to someone at Kauffman 40 minuted before. I asked him again if he had those Cooper Tires in stock that Brian had said and the gentleman replied "we will have to wait and see. He went out to my vehicle to get the details and came back in to the front desk where I was waiting. I asked him again if he had those Copper tires in stock that I was told by Brian and he hummed and harrrrd not goiving me an answer. I said I hope you do as I have just left work to come and get all my tires replaced and he replied " customer service had nothing to do with him and that was my problem and I needed to call customer service again". By this stage I had enough and found this guy to be rude and condescending. I reached over the counter and took my keys and said " sorry but if you can not tell me if you have the quoted tires in stock I will go somewhere else and started walking towards the door. He was yelling my name over and over at me as I left. The other two customers in the waiting area where looking at him. It doesnt matter if a company has a central customer service office, you should not act like that to a client who has just come in to purchase four new tires. I am not privy to how a company works nor do I want to know. But if you call the 912 local number, talk to a person on the phone who says come on up we are not that busy right now and quotes you tires on the phone, the person you deal with when you arrive needs to be polite, civil and respectful towards you and at least listen. Got a new tire and they cross threaded some of my studs. Sawed off a threaded one and left a piece in there. Really dissapointed

Simply came to this location for an oil change. 2 days later I have a smoking car WTF! I immediately call the location to let them know of the situation. I was not able to drive the car due to over heating. They requested I have the vehicle towed to them & IF they are the cause I will be reimbursed and the issue would be fixed. Once the vehicle arrived to the location they stated it was a hole in my radiator & it's leaking coolant, and that has nothing to do with them. Now while this may not have been done by them at that particular time. I have had service done on my car 3 times this year at this location. Prior to having work done with these guys my car was new and had no issues what so ever so these are the first mechanics to touch the car. My thing is did you not see any signs of this 2 days ago when I got my oil changed? There response is they don't check that AREA when doing oil changes. But y'all gave me a receipt listing other things that I should fix that's NOT in the AREA of oil change either. I did all of this via phone because I was at work. Finally visit the location & Karisma lets me know the manager is not willing to speak with or help me AT ALL! Spent over 3,000 with these people & was still under warranty for the work that was done and didn't receive any help or reimbursement for the issue. SAVE YOUR MONEY & go else where trust me if your a person who needs your car you'll be left without one read more

If I could do no stars I would. I now understand why the ratings are so low. I had an appointment scheduled for 12 and my car was not taken back until the end of the day. I never got a call back saying when it was complete either. On top of all of that they had the wrong persons information on my car and they even had the wrong car information as well. They didn't bother to fix it until I told them I needed it for my tag and after they SAID they would fix it and email it to me, they didn't. When I called back a week later the store manager lied saying she sent it but never did. When she finally sent it again everything was still wrong. The only thing she attempted to change was my name and phone number, and they were still BOTH WRONG. I never got a chance to interact with the employees but if the store manager was extremely rude I could only imagine. Do not come here even for the simplest fix because something small can end up getting screwed over. read more
