From the call in my recliner to the service to me back on the recliner was less than two hours. The attendant took my info and keys then got to work. Basic mechanics lobby with tv and coffee. I read a book and chatted with a couple waiting for this quick service. I will definitely return! Well, I did and the return visit was not as efficient but I felt the service was still great. It seems they are a bit short on mechanics and I ended up there three hours for an oil change.

I came here for what should have been a simple oil change on a European car. Nearly $150 later, I…read moreleft with an invoice that was so confusing I had to decipher which numbers were actual charges and which were apparently just numbers printed on the sheet. Expensive, but the service was quick and the guys were friendly enough, so I went home and didn't think much of it. The next morning, there was a large oil stain on my driveway. I drove back and explained that the car was leaking oil. I wasn't angry, didn't complain about the price, and didn't ask for a refund. I genuinely figured it was something simple--a missing gasket or a loose drain plug. While they had the car up, I could literally feel/hear the drain plug being tightened from underneath. The metallic click was pretty hard to miss. Then the manager came over and told me they couldn't find anything showing the car was leaking. He even brought me underneath the car to show me there was supposedly no reason for my concern. Interestingly, the drain plug was now mysteriously clean, although there was still fresh oil along the skid plate. At that point, I still wasn't upset. They tightened it, no harm, no foul. The next morning: another large oil stain. This time I had parked over cardboard, and it was very clear the oil was coming from the drain plug. So I made another 20+ mile round trip and brought it back for a SECOND time. This visit was completely different. The manager seemed visibly irritated that I was back and told the employees to change the oil, change the gasket, and repeatedly emphasized, "Make sure you get the pressure test on VIDEO!" The employees also made sure everyone could hear their frustration about having to change the oil "AGAIN" and the gasket "AGAIN." Apparently, I was inconveniencing them by bringing back a car that was leaking oil after they serviced it. Keep in mind, through all of this I never yelled, demanded a refund, or was disrespectful. I simply wanted the oil leak they caused to be fixed. Instead, the entire second visit felt accusatory, like they were trying to prove I was making up the problem. Nothing was offered for the inconvenience of having to drive back twice, either. And then the next morning? Another large oil stain. At that point I was done. I bought a new drain plug myself, drained the oil, replaced the plug, and refilled it. Crazy thing happened: it stopped leaking. Three visits to this shop--including the original oil change--and they couldn't fix a leaking drain plug. I fixed it myself with a new plug. Mistakes happen. A loose plug or bad gasket after an oil change wouldn't have caused me to leave a bad review by itself. What earned the bad review was making me come back twice, acting like the leak didn't exist, and then treating me like I was the problem when I returned again. I will not be back. Terrible customer service from the manager and an incredibly frustrating experience over what should have been one of the simplest services you can have done to a car.

I had made an appointment because my "Check Engine Soon" light had come on, in addition to needing an oil change and a repair having to do with an issue with my windshield washer fluid not dispensing when the reservoir was full. I was greeted upon entering the office and was taken immediately to wait in a nice, comfortable waiting room with tv, magazines, beverages and snacks. The repairs were completed within the time frame they promised, and the car ran beautifully once on the road. I love the very detailed scope of work with fees that they provided, in addition to receiving an email a few days later with a link to their website where I could schedule a future appointment and even see a history of all the work that had been done on my car. That last feature I really appreciate and relieves me of the necessity of having to search through my auto records to see what work had been done in the past and what still needed to be done in the future. But I am retired and I no longer turn wrenches. Recently my car had had a P0303 code which means the number three cylinder was misfiring. I took it to Savannah car Care. They ran a diagnostic and quoted me $1,000 for the replacement of 8 spark plugs and wires on My 2013 Chevy suburban 5.3 motor. They called me on the phone and I thought it was a joke. But it wasn't! I had the spark plugs and wires replaced in my car 26,000 miles ago for $378. Now Savannah car Care is telling me that I have to spend $1,000 to replace one bad spark plug cable that has gone bad since the last replacement of all 8 plugs. I asked them if they could just replaced the one bad cable and plug. They said NO - that all the spark plugs and cables were bad. Well, to make long story short. I am traveling the country and I needed my SUV, so I said go ahead and do it. Because I complained about the price. They lowered the cost of $906. I've been going to Savannah car Care for about 4 years now. Initially, when I started going there they were great. The manager that I used to deal with left and things have gone downhill. At that time, I had Car Shield warranty and Savannah car Care bad mouth that company to death. Now there are sponsors of that company. Make a pack with the Devil - money talks! Savannah car Care it's no longer the company I used to recommend. They have sold out and now they WAY overprice their services. It's a shame! I will not be back. I had purchased tires within the last year in Virginia with the road side hazard package, so I thought I was clear to get my tire replaced free of charge. The manager informed me that the previous shop didn't set up my road side hazard package correctly, preventing work to be performed under the agreement in the road side hazard purchase - even though my account showed I purchased the package. Duane, the store manager, explained the situation thoroughly and offered to attempt to resolve the issue personally. He called the VA shop, and my record was updated in 10mins, allowing work to be performed free of charge as outlined in the road side hazard package.
