Not only do they serve great coffee and kava, but they also have ping pong, pool tables, a huge outdoor patio, and plenty of other games to enjoy. The seating is spacious and varied, with plenty of room for larger groups, making it a great spot to hang out. There's even a food truck on-site if you get hungry. Cool little spot with good vibes and even better humans. I didn't realize the kratom came carbonated, and when I asked, the staff remade it flat without making it weird. Flat was absolutely the move. Both kava tenders were really nice and personable, and even my friend who never goes into these places seemed to have a super fun time. The patio is neat, with plenty of places to sit, little activities to mess with, and a clever open bar setup that serves both inside and outside. The decor is eclectic in the best way, with something interesting everywhere you look. There's no other spot in Jacksonville with mango smoothies late at night. I was on a mango smoothie mission after 10 pm and I found Kava & Company. There's a bar, sitting areas and a patio area with billiards and ping pong. I was surprised my smoothie mission brought me to a more casual nightlife bar establishment. I am so glad someone told us about this gem! The first time we ever came was on my birthday. The girl behind the bar was so kind and gave me a birthday drink. I was so grateful and really had such a perfect end to my birthday there! We have been back so many times since and we always have a great experience. The drinks are always amazing (they are all alcohol free) they also have coffees and other beverages as well. One of the girls who worked there asked if my husbands service dog wanted a pup cup! He really enjoyed it (thank you!) The back patio is dog friendly and they have pool and other stuff out side as well. Everyone always seems very relaxed and friendly! This was my second time at Kava & Company, I hate doing bad reviews, but this was needed. I went on a 4/27/25 @ 2:15 and sat at the back bar. 25 min. later no acknowledgement, no menu. I'm not a regular but stopped in for a quick ice-cold drink. 35 min passed and i finally got a menu, and that was it. The bartender never acknowledged me, never came back to take an order, but I noticed, I guess I had to be a friend, or a regular to get service, because that's who she was serving first. Bartenders should know you have a starting point at the bar, and you go all around the bar, so everyone gets served and you end back up at the same starting point and do it all over again. Long story short, I was never served, and after 1 hour and 25min I walked out... My first experience was amazing. read more

This was our first time at a kava/non-alcoholic bar. We didn't actually realize that's what it was because we were actually looking for a coffee shop and this place came up with good reviews so we went. First, parking is in the paid surface lot across the street that does not have handicap parking. I wish this was clearly explained on the website or About info on Yelp/Google rather than a small sign on the door. We walked in and immediately noticed it was quite warm inside with no air conditioning. It was 85 outside. The bartender greeted us. We said it was our first time and she just handed us menus and walked away. We sat down and decided on a drink and she came to the table and took our order. We just ordered iced lattes since that was what we originally came for. She asked what milk we wanted and whether it was here or to go but did not ask what size we wanted (this will come up later). Drinks came and my husband said again that it was our first time and asked what the place was all about. So she gave a brief explanation of kava and the other leaf based tea and a little about the business and then left again. It just felt like we got the bare minimum and if we didn't "get" it, it probably wasn't for us. Iced lattes were ok. Not the best we've had and not the worst. They use Torani syrup, which is not my fave. I had to go up to the bar to ask for the bill and when I got it I realized she charged us for the larger/more expensive size. The patio looked nice and the bathroom was clean, if a little cramped in the stall. If you are into kava/CBD/etc and you don't mind a warm environment without A/C you might like this place. I appreciate the idea and we might try the Mandarin location but between the parking and heat we won't be back to this location. read more

We came in for the first time around 2 weeks ago and we've been back in every other day since. The environment is great the staff is very friendly and attentive they have live music and open mics that are a really nice vibe and the kava is delicious with lots of variety.
