Stopped by here with my oldest daughter tonight after dinner in the area. This was the first time for my daughter. I've been here a few times before. I ordered the Cookie Butter Shake. I honestly didn't care for it. Thought I would like the flavor but didn't. Don't think I will get a milk shake again. I think I will stay with a single scoop cone. I have been here twice and every time I come here it's always great experience. They do have items such as ice cream and they also have flavored coffee as well and they also have floating energy drinks. They also have dessert as well. Every time I walk in, I just get a whiff of sugar. I will see if you are lactose intolerant this place is not for you. I say so because it seems that everything is made in house and it's fresh. Riverside does have many ice cream places, but this one does stand out. They do have different flavors. I'm more of a vanilla and chocolate guy, but if I'm more on the experimental side, I may try something like a peanut brittle flavor. It's right at the corner of Park and King Street, a good location to walk to if you can. I'd love to visit again for the seasonal ice creams in the spring! Bright greens and pinks, cat art and kids art decorate the walls and there's an homage to skateboarding as well. The crew was friendly and informative and service was great. I ordered the chocolate peanut butter pretzel sundae. It was amazing. The whipped cream incredible and what made this stand out was the Zanzibar chocolate. Rich, dark, smooth, flavorful, unique and delicious. Trying some other offerings next time along with coffee, and there will be a next time. The young lady at the register provided me with her recommendations and I am glad I followed them. The establishment was bright, clean and very inviting. Visited Screaming Cat Coffee on their opening weekend a few months back. The location is perfect, right at the corner of Park & King. I got my go to lavender latte and it was delicious. I came back (the same day :) ) for ice cream. The ice cream was good, not my favorite place in town but I would return for the coffee. My son pointed to the Ultimate Oreo with oat cream and the pretzels, so we got the Junior scoop in a waffle bowl. They gave us a sample to try before we got the full deal and he hummed his approval so I knew that was a winner. It was around $6 for the bowl, And I tipped them for the service and kindness that they provided to us. They had three people working, but seemed a little overwhelmed and we're not overly friendly or welcoming, but there was nothing wrong with how they were other than they did not acknowledge you until they were trying to figure out if their coworker got your order or they needed to. Comparatively to their competitor, Mayday Ice cream, is noticeably less expensive with the same quality of ice cream... Their scoop with one topping is $5.75. Mayday makes their own sprinkles & waffle cones in house. Mayday uses biodegradable cups and biodegradable spoon. They offer multiple options dairy free, but not always consistent on if they have vanilla or chocolate dairy-free. The employees are more welcoming and attentive. read more

I got the normal amount they use for the medium and couldn't taste the coffee at all, straight sugar ! I would recommend half of the syrup portion they use if you enjoy coffee ! The employees behind the bar are so incredibly sweet and informative on the flavors of the ice cream and was helpful with suggestions and trying samples.
