We came here today with four girls, and they had an absolute blast! The employee working today was so incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. She took the time to reposition some of the plushies to give the girls a better chance and even surprised them with some extra goodies. I have been to this place two times now and the service has been consistently pleasant each time. The unit is pretty clean and well-maintained, and quite spacious for how many machines are in there. The staff has also been so accommodating each time I've gone now and made the experience even better. They have a wide array of plushies/prizes and it's been different each time I've gone so far, which makes you want to go back. I feel that the price point is affordable, too. The machines aren't CRAZY difficult, so I think you can walk out with something regardless. There is a super cute plushie photo wall that's great for IG sharing, too. It's located in a big plaza and so there is a fair amount of parking, but keep in mind it can still get busy, especially with it being near Kei Coffee. I've been coming here since they first opened, and up until today, my family has consistently had a positive experience. We live nearby, so my kids visit at least once a week. I don't typically expect much in terms of customer service since it's a fairly self-service environment. However, my interaction with one of the staff members today was disappointing. I accidentally dropped some lollipops on the floor, and I made sure to pick everything up right away. I even picked up a few extra pieces of trash nearby that weren't ours. I then politely asked the staff member if there was a trash can I could use. Her response and attitude felt unnecessarily rude. Understanding that there might not be a trash can available, I wrapped the items in a napkin and planned to take them with me to dispose of later. Despite this, she told us in a harsh manner to take the trash out, which felt disrespectful given the situation. This experience was disappointing, especially considering how often we visit. I hope management can address this, as better communication and courtesy from staff would go a long way in maintaining a welcoming environment for regular customers. ***These are plush toys my kids have won over time . We stumbled upon this place because my son saw Pikachu in the window so we went in. I thought we would just walk in and out because these shops seem like gimmicks, but my kids saw machines their size so we had to stay and play! We did the $20 for 23 tokens deal and away we went. We did pretty terribly as my son is 3 and my daughter is 1 so they were just hitting the button randomly usually before we lined up the claw, but they were loving it. The employee, Victoria, was so sweet and helpful and my kids were so happy to both leave with a cute plushie (the exact same one so we could avoid fighting ). Experience took us by surprise. Most claw machine stores are more than happy to take your money, no remorse at all if you lose every time. This store has a system where if you pay for at least 23 tokens, you're guaranteed a win (I believe it was one, could be two but I don't remember). Just read the rules on the wall above the register. Person working was very helpful, very nice. Nice variety of prizes. Note: there are two "sections" of claw machines. Since the ones right in front of the register are higher value items, the rules are different for those machines. There's also a section in the back of the store where they sell other kinds of merch. I've been to basically every claw machine place in OC and just recently decided to make a stop here since they still had their grand opening sign up. Win rates and excitement are usually high on grand opening month but unfortunately that wasn't the case. Two things stood out to me: 1) 2 Tokens per Play - Claw machine stores like this in the area are all 1 token per play. Maybe because they are more established in their other locations but this was really surprising. 2) The Guaranteed Win aka Pity System - While that sounds nice, it also implies something about their machine win rate doesn't it? (For reference, $20 = guaranteed 2) My friend and I were the ~only~ customers this particular weekend afternoon, and there was only one staff member there. She didn't really acknowledge us the entire time we walked around until we came up to the register and wasn't proactive or attentive while we were there; she did say that she could help us rearrange them if needed. (Almost all of them were in flat and difficult positions.) Then she helped me restack one of them but the claw still dropped it before it got to the chute. I swear it wasn't a skill issue but man was that kind of awkward. In the end, we walked out with 2 each that we grabbed ourselves but it would have been equivalent to the pity pay out. 2 each is really low for opening month, empty place, us not being a small child, but in fact, frequent claw machine visitors! TLDR - had an incredibly mid experience because expectations were higher, like that of all neighboring claw machines places. Rounding up to 3/5 though for their little blind box section in the back. read more

I've visited many claw machines in the OC area, but this one truly stands out as the best! The machines are super nice and filled with adorable toys. If you enjoy Japan's gachapon, you'll love what they have here, including a wide selection of blind boxes from Labubu, Sanrio, and Toptoy. The service was wonderful, and they even have a thoughtful pity system that adds a nice touch. All the toys for trading are also very pretty. I highly recommend checking this place out! We would like to respond to the owner. We understand crane games involve both luck and skill, but when we visit other arcades, we typically walk away with 10-12 prizes. ( kawaii klaws in picture witj no help ) In this case, the experience was very different. The existence of a "guarantee" policy suggests the machines are set to be extremely difficult, with low chances of winning through normal play. Customers don't come to crane arcades expecting consolation prizes -- they come to enjoy the challenge and win directly from the machines. Unfortunately, that wasn't our experience here. read more

I have no idea why there are so many highly rated reviews here. Looking at some of the review profile histories, I can see why... Maybe we were unlucky on this particular day? Maybe a perfect storm of mishaps? Regardless what the reason is, it was the worst claw machine experience we have ever had. I'm going to preface this saying that my family has played at well over 30 different claw arcades, many in SoCal and a handful in other states. We completely understand that claw machines are a combo of luck and skill. We also understand that we can ask workers for help. Let's start with the cost: Here, the midsized machines are all 2 tokens per play. This is a big departure from other SoCal claw machine arcades, and the plushies are NOT that much different in quality. This is expensive to play when there are many other places at a better rate. Smaller machines are 1 coin each which is on-par with other places. Trade ups: Like other places, there is a trade up shop which means you can trade in the plushies for better prizes. They label each machine with the value you can trade it in for. I'll give it to them that they allow you to trade up the really small prizes for 0.5 value, which is better than other places that don't let you trade up at all. They have decent trade ups. Store: They have a store in the back to purchase toys and collectibles, and it's decent without having to go find a dedicated Japanese store, but it doesn't have everything. Machines: These machines are the worst I have ever experienced. The drop speed of the claw is really sluggish and some drop-claw buttons are unresponsive, and the way they stuff the plushies are purposefully not well stocked. There are not enough plushies to cover the floor of the machine, leaving many of the plushies impossibly grabbable due to its position with the flat surface. Most places either have many plushies so this isn't an issue, or they line the bottom with either a plushie-padded floor or ball pit balls so that the claw wouldn't come into contact with the actual floor and result in a rigged miss (contact results in claw closure). Double tap withstanding, this is purposely set up for failure. On top of that, one of the machines straight up malfunctioned in the middle of play. My daughter grabbed a plushie, it brought it up, the claw dropped it, and then the claw just stood there frozen. It didn't come back to the chute or move anymore, just frozen in place. The worker basically told us the claw wasn't broken and it's fine and put an extra credit in to reset the machine, but it was disappointing to see a machine glitch out in a fairly new business, and also not admit it is their machine's fault. Guaranteed prizes: For every $10 you spend, if you did not win, they give you a free prize. This is a very tricky one. This may sound great, but if you know you might end up without a good prize, you SHOULD purposely waste the rest of your money on the harder machines. Let's say you spend $20 and you don't win anything... you get to pick 2 prizes to take home. However, if you won 2 prizes, but they were on the lower tiny machines (lower value prizes), they are still "2 prizes" and therefore you don't qualify for the guaranteed prizes anymore which could have been the higher value prizes. So on paper, it sounds like a good idea, but in practice, you have a window of being ripped off. Customer Service: We were literally the only customers, and there was one worker who was behind the counter. She wasn't monitoring the machines or paying attention, but rather on her phone most of the time. The place in general encourages you to ask for help if you need it, but maybe it was the luck of the draw with our specific worker... but even with asking for help, she did not "help". Usually when asking for help with a machine, workers would help fluff the plushies up and/or reposition them closer to the chute. What did our worker do? She slightly moved the plushies around and left it on the far side of the machine. My kid is really young, but even she understood and told me "it's still too far away". At this point, you aren't even playing with skill anymore but it's fully based on payout. She asked for help twice and both times the plushie was not repositioned in a helpful manner, and the claw landed perfectly on the plushie but it did not grab it it. I told her to go ask again but she refused to ask because "they are not helping". Overall: 1/5 This is on the bottom of our list of claw machine arcades. Customer service, value, and overall experience was seriously lacking, and the claw machine experience was not fun. I normally don't write this level of review, but I really wanted to share this experience in order for the business to improve or for others to hear a true/real experience from regular claw machine players. read more

She noticed I was gravitating to the Mofusand series and she helped me find other similar items. I got a mofusand pen blind box, and she made sure to show me the type of pen it was. Since she had an opened pen of a similar series she even showed me how the pen wrote on paper to make sure I was satisfied with it before purchasing! And the claws feel a lot stronger / pay out feels quicker than if you were to go to Round1. And the owner was so sweet, he gave my little sister a couple of free tries at the end since he knows it's more satisfying to be able to grab it yourself Prizes were also really cute and their trading system is cool- you can trade up your smaller prizes for a big one if you want.
