The physical space for people to gather and simply be has been a great blessing. I do wish that there was a bit more regulation with the particular behaviors that can be inspired when a game does not go well for people with potty mouths (I only say this because I struggled with this too). The staff is good at keeping the place clean and there's even snacks and drinks that you can grab while playing. Entry to the cafe to look around is free, but if you want to actually play games it is $3/hr/person. We came on a Monday evening and there were was only one other group, but I'm sure it gets crowded on the weekends and you can make a reservation online. They have "private tents" where your group can hang out and play games. The employees were really friendly recommending games for our large group of 7. You can bring outside food/drinks but there will be an added fee ($3/person for food and $1/person for drinks). They are also pet friendly! We brought our little dog in a carrier. Parking is $4/hr at the GardenWalk garage (first hour is free). Meeples does not validate parking. What i found was a community driven shop (i was fortunate to see a lorcana store tourney) that has amazing an space for its players allowing it to feel both cozy and not too bubble busting. First off the prices are either msrp or at a great deal for the majority of its items. They have a healthy stock of things and a wonderful variety of both tcg games, table games, and miniature collectibles. You can spend a good amount of time just looking around and if u decide to pick up a game to play its 3 bucks per person per hour and you can get food and drink delivered by the local boba shop located in the same mall! Such a cool shop with tons of board games to play! We met up with friends here on a Monday night but the place was still bustling. It was $3 per person per hour, which isn't too bad. However they don't validate parking which is unfortunate. We called ahead of time and they allowed for dogs! Our dog is small so we had him on our lap the whole time. The WORST customer service I've ever experienced. Especially from the store owner? I was hungry, so I bought instan shin ramen that they sell which was $4. They charged me $1 to cook the ramen. Which was okay. They said they'll bring it to my table once it's ready. When they brought the ramen, there was NO SOUP in there. This ramen is supposed to have around 400ml of water in there. I go to the front to ask why my ramen doesn't have any soup in it. The guy in the front calls the OWNER and the owner comes out from the back with a bottle of water saying "I'll put more water in there for you". So I asked "in this cup ramen that's overly cooked already?" And he goes "yes, you said you want more soup". I've never even heard of anyone who puts in more water after the ramen was already OVERLY cooked. So I told him "I think that will make my ramen taste really bad" and he says "do you even know how to make cup ramen?" What kind of question is that? I'm Korean. Yes, I grew up making cup ramen and it's supposed to have soup in it. And he continued with annoyed voice saying "do you see this? It says microwave for 5min30sec. Maybe you don't know how to microwave cup ramen." I looked at him confused because whatever he was saying didn't make sense. At the end of the day, this ramen had no soup in it and as an owner, you should offer to cook it again. When I stood there confused, he SNATCHED the cup ramen out of my hand and threw it on the table next to him saying "fine, I'll refund it". Excuse me? DON'T EVER SNATCH SOMETHING OUT OF SOMEONE'S HAND. I didn't want to yell at a public place, so I went back to my seat. Then, he comes to my seat a minute later and just THROWS the refund receipt on my table. My friends and I didn't even want to be near that place anymore, so we just left. Below is the picture of how the ramen is supposed to look like because it seems like you don't know how ramen looks when it's cooked. If you're selling the product, MAYBE LEARN HOW TO COOK IT FIRST. 1. Learn how to cook ramen first ESPECIALLY if you're going to charge $1 for it. 2. Don't talk to a customer like that saying "do you even know how to...." 3. Don't EVER snatch something from someone's hand 4. Don't EVER throw a receipt at the customer. Was I rude to you first? NO. We LOVE the tent set up, perfectly executed, everything was clean and tidy. priced at $2.50 per person per hour, you get to play any games in their collection, they have a big collection and most of them were labeled with estimated playing time and the recommended number of players which was really helpful when selecting games. though i do wish that there is a catalog where we can browse the games in the selection all at once. besides the board games you can play at an hourly rate, they also sell Japanese instant cup noodles, interesting snacks, and sodas, for while you play, all at very reasonable prices, which is awesome. if you'd like, there are also brand new board games in stock for sale. the only complaint we have is the parking, as they do not validate mall parking and it's $3 /hour after the 1st hour so it can add up quickly if you are staying for long hours. this is the perfect spot to relax, hang out, have some snacks and explore new board games. we had fun and will be back! highly highly recommended :) read more

Very disappointed with our visit. My friend put in a reservation for a tent about a week before our visit. Upon arrival everybody was very sweet and we were instructed to choose a board game of our choice. (Added an extra star review for their friendliness) After choosing a board game we follow the employee to the back and to our surprise we were are seated in this corner (behind the tents) with foldable chairs and a foldable table. (NOT at all what we were expecting) At first we thought we were seated here because we were a party of two. But that didn't make sense because there was a couple in the tent right in front of us. There was also an empty tent nearby so i'm not sure why we couldn't have been seated there. I have not seen this little area on their Yelp, but I just want to let y'all know that this little corner exists and it's NOT a cute atmosphere like they promote. read more

If no one in your group likes to read the rules and explain to everyone else, then like me, Youtube is your friend! There are many How To Play explanations available on youtube which helped us breeze through more games. The games were kept in good condition and clean. They had wipes in our tent for us to sanitize the table and whatever else we needed. The table was nice and big, but the chairs in our tent wasn't very comfortable to sit in.
