I was excited to learn that there was a claw machine arcade nearby (I'm used to going to Claw Daddy at the Montebello Mall or various other locations in Vegas). I am the queen of Claw Machines and this place really had me struggling. My dad, who suffers from dementia, enjoys claw machine arcade games so I decided to bring him here since it was closer than Claw Daddy. He loves the thrill of winning a prize , and loves stuffed animals. I thought this place would be easy like the other claw arcades but I was bummed to learn it wasn't. The claw would close around the item just fine, but the strong pressure of the recoil would shake the fingers open and drop the toy back into the pit. Unless the item is near the opening to begin with, then chances of the recoil causing the toy to go toward the chute then you won't be winning anything. We got $70 worth of coins and only won 5 things. The previous weekend we had spent $60 at Claw Daddy and won 20 plushies lol Also, parking is a nightmare. Just did my daughter's birthday event at this San Gabriel location. This is a great location for kids who loved plushies and blind boxes. They hv cute toys and claws are pretty strong. Kids got lots of toys n they had a blast. They also allowed outside catering food and games and activities during our birthday event hours. Coral and her co worker ( I got her name but forgot as I m writing this ..sorry..) helped the kids out a lot for them to win. I highly recommend this place! read more

The grab for the claws are decent! It's $1 per token & some games are 1/3/4/5 tokens. Their token exchange machine was out of order & wasn't accepting our bills. It had an Apple Pay option but the lowest option was $10 read more

What a gem in an unassuming plaza! Situated right next to Lucky Fruitea is this colorful and fun claw machine arcade. There's actually a decent amount of machines with a variety of cute plushies to choose from. I was shocked at how strong the claws were lol, you can definitely win prizes here. $1 = 1 token = 1 play, but they offer promos too such as $50 for 55 tokens. It appears sometimes staff might throw in a couple extra tokens on the house. Similar to Round 1, you can ask for an adjustment of the plushies if you need one. I didn't know the Kawaii Klaws SG location opened already! I came here with a buddy of mine and we combined our plushies to trade up for a large prize of 22 plushies. Medium plush for 19. We had a great time. Alan helped us out and was really nice! It's $1 for 1 token. If you buy $50 of tokens you get 5 free tokens. If you buy $100 worth of tokens you get 15 free tokens. Machines were hard here because of the intensity of the bounce back after the claw goes back up after picking up the toys. It's located in the same plaza as pho ngoon and dong ting Chun restaurants. You won't have trouble finding parking. No restrooms. read more

This was our second visit to this location, and it is always quiet with a relaxed atmosphere. The games and prizes were decent. We were also able to "win" 4 plushies within our 20 tokens. All in all, a good business but wish they had better offers such as their counterparts in W. Covina, Westminster, and other locations. read more

Zero stars! If only there's an option for that! Came here for the first time and it was disappointing. Not a single prize. We were trying to get a Pikachu and we literally spent $30 in one machine. We tried to go for another machine and still no prizes. This place is a joke. This place has no shame taking people's money for granted. There's a section in this place where people can leave notes since there's no staff supervising this place. Let me tell you it's funny. Other people left notes saying that they even spent more money here and got nothing as well. Some even said that they did the 200 steps for a particular machine but no prizes came out. THIS PLACE IS RIGGED! There were people who came here when I came here. Those people didn't get anything too and were upset as well. If you want to play a prize machine that's not rigged go to round one instead. At least you'll walk out with something there. Those people who left "good"reviews for this place are either they won out of luck or they spend more than $100 here or they're a bunch of liars who are connected to the owner of this place. I picked up multiple stuffed animals -- like, actually got them off the pile -- and every single time, the claw would just go limp and drop the prize before it even moved an inch. It's like the claws are made of wet noodles. It's obvious these machines are set to make it impossible to win. No grip, no tension, no chance. I watched other people try too, and it was the same story over and over. Nobody was winning anything. This place is nothing but a money trap. They called me to make things right. I went with my daughter and they gave me plushies because the machine malfunctioned. At least they care about customer satisfaction. However, I don't think the machines are stocked enough and an attendant will not be here since they told me that it would be "self-automated". We always try this place after eating pho a few doors down. today was the last time. Lost about $50 over the past 3x. same result each time. Even after a clean grab and lift...the minute the claw lifts it to the top, it lifts it so hard that it automatically shakes the claw back open and drops the toy each and every time, which basically means its going to be impossible to get anything because it has been very consistent with how it shakes the item loose every time. whatever setting they have the machines set to is obv that way to maximize making money and minimizing how many prizes it hands out. great for the short term money grab, but bad for long term biz sustainablity. We'll keep eating pho and getting tea next door, but we'll skip the klaw machines for now on. Even our kids say they never want to go there again, which makes our lives easier. Smart kids. read more
