Had the groupon facial. The lady who did my facial used her fingers to squeeze my blackheads. First time that ever happened to me during a facial. Technically, removing black heads or pimples need to be done properly with an extraction tool. According to a dermatoligist I visited, using the fingers will cause the skin to collapse and create uneven skin texture. Therefore, the low stats. Also, the seaweed mask that was placed on my face burned horribly. The esthetician said it was normal and waited a couple minutes beofre removing the mask and applying a new mask. I came here because of a Groupon deal they had and also to try sugar waxing out. I first walked in and I was greeted fairly nicely. I made an appointment so they were expecting someone to come in soon. I filled out a new customer questionnaire and waited till the room was ready. (2 minutes later) They called my name and a woman greeted me with a welcome/is this your first waxing line. I told her I've tried bikini waxing before but was curious to find out how sugar waxing worked since I have sensitive skin. She talked throughout the whole process so it didn't seem awkward at all besides the oohs and ahhs in between. I did like how I wasn't as red like with regular wax and she even let me put on some lotion privately to clean up. I was skeptical at first because I'm use to paying $55 at the pretty kitty. However, they did a good job. This places uses the cold wax with no strips and it's supposed to be less painful.
