This is my second visit to Kaya to get my full hand and legs waxing. The lady was pleasant to talk to but that alone is not enough. Right? They use special waxing roller for applying wax on your skin. Guess what? I am having allergic reactions with bumps and itching all over my body for both my visit. I have been doing waxing for more than 10 years now and this place is bad. They are probably using expired wax or something and now my skin is burning like crazy!! I have gone on multiple occasions and every time I wonder why I do (proximity mainly). My eyebrows come out different every time. I experienced one the threaders taking payment in cash from a client and then proceeding to thread my eyebrows without having washed her hands. I was nice and didn't say anything but I immediately decided I wouldn't come back again. Hygiene is so important and should not be taken lightly. read more

This is a good place to go for threading. The lady does a good job cleaning up and shaping your brows. Given price, below average experience. Went for facial but left me in what looked like an unsanitary room for a long time (so she could take unscheduled clients as they kept coming in while I sat there). Would come in and out and tell me "one more..." and at some point I had to complain (which I hate doing). The service is on the cheap end so this is slightly on the order of "you really get what you paid for." Threading is fine here though; just stick with that. read more

I went here and had the worst service. The place was completely empty when I got there, and, though I was assisted right away, the job done was absolutely horrendous. I can't remember the name of the woman who did my threading, but her name started with an "S". The lighting was poor, and she did not do a good job - leaving nearly half my face undone. It wasn't until I got home and looked under better lighting that I saw just how poor a job she did. I also second folks who commented about the employees yelling to each other across the room. Not the quiet, experience one should expect. I will not be going here again. Save your money and your time and go to a better establishment. read more

I've been looking for a quality threading salon near my home and one day I came across this place as I was on a run. A few days later I found myself there for a full face threading appointment with Rima. She's nothing short of amazing. I've been threading my face for 20+ years and am pretty picky. My face was threaded just as I hoped it would be. Rima does a thorough job and makes sure you're completely satisfied with the end result. She's also very accommodating for appointment times. I did a few times Brazilian here, and so far, since it was my first experience I thought that was okay the pain and to feel sore on the next day. However, after a very bad experience here, when a lady literally took off a part of my private and let me bleeding (she claimed I scratched myself), I decided to visit another place. For my surprise, on this other place I went I did not feel the strong pain and sore that I usually felt after waxing here. I assume the lady that does the waxing does not have ANY TECHNIQUE at all. She waxes multiple times the same area leaving it, obviously, really sore and sensitive. The price is good, I agree, but is not worthy. read more

Was excited to try this place because of all the great reviews. I only get hair removed from my face via threading - I have never done anything else, so I am no stranger to the process. Would give my eyebrow threading experience 5 stars (they look great!) - but unfortunately I also got my upper lip done - in which two things went wrong - 1. When I got home and looked at myself in natural light it was very clear there was still hair on the left upper side of lip - and 2. She nicked the other side of my upper lip - to where it was actually bleeding and now I am somewhat breaking out which has never happened when getting threaded - which is a bummer. read more

After a terrible session at another salon that left a missing patch of hair on one side, I decided to grow my eyebrows out until I found the right person. Hesitant at first, I took the advice of Yelp reviews and scheduled an appointment with Rima. She took her time and left 0 strays. Most of all, she was gentle! I've had my entire face threaded in the past and was left with cuts on my cheeks. Rima double checked her work and was really sweet to talk to as well! I was hoping this would be my new go to threading place since I live down the street from it. Unfortunately it wasn't. She supposedly "cleaned" my eyebrows and honestly she finished in less than 3min. I've been to other threading places (downtown mv) and they've done a better job but prices have gone up tremendously.
