If you are wanting a place for breakfast, this is it. We absolutely loved their menu. I've never seen so many options just for breakfast. Have you ever seen 14 types of omelets?? And it's not just breakfast, they have sandwiches, wraps, salads, and burgers on the menu too. Since it was the weekend we went, they also have the option for a small breakfast buffet. The food came out so fast! We went for the omelets. The veggie omelet was soooo good. It came with a big side of hash browns. I only wished these were a little crispier. I also tried a side of biscuits and gravy. I did not care for the gravy on the biscuits though. The inside is your basic, ole diner. Small with an older feel to it. Its got that grandma's house feel to it (in a good way)!

Yikes. If you go here eat breakfast because I've had better burgers at a little league concession stand. This was a rare miss for yelp and also for the parking lot test. My burger was not fully cooked, tasted like burnt onions from the grill and the iced tea was "instant" as in not fresh brewed. I really just cannot get behind this place.

Chili. Was middle of the road.

Stopped by for lunch and pie. Tried the chili first. It was good and seemed home made which is always good. Wasn't the best but wasn't bad by any means. For my meal I got the carnitas open faced sandwich. I knew it wouldn't be seasoned authentically of course but also didn't expect the random pieces of bacon ham and sausage patty in it. It was supposed to have pulled pork, mushrooms, onions and peppers on sour dough bread. The bread was pretty soggy which wasn't appetizing to me but the pork was tasty. Food took a while to get as well. Watched as others got their food before me. Maybe the pulled pork takes longer. Took some pie to go which was pretty good. Wanted the peanut butter fudge but they were out. So got the French Sill and Almond Joy pie. The almond joy pie had a tough chocolate filling. Decadent but not the best. The French silk has alcohol in it for sure. I liked it but it's definitely a surprise. Wasn't expecting that. I know there's a lot of good food here and I'll come back and try other things. I gave it a 4 star because of the hope I still have.

By far my favorite coffee shop in Central Minnesota! One of…read morethe most important features of a coffee shop is the atmosphere, and The Local Blend does not disappoint! Mixing a tasteful blend of tradition and contemporary with wooden tables and chairs with brightly painted walls and their distinct "cosmic" mugs, enjoying a talk with a friend or focusing to study for that next exam has never been more enjoyable! Their coffee and tea selections are varied with local, organic blends that never fail to impress me! I specifically recommend their cold brew, whatever roast is available, with a touch of milk on a hot summer day! Finally, their pastries and food selections are always changing, with a steadfast dedication to incorporating local bakeries and baking scones, cakes, and other treats in-house. The almond croissants from Backwards Bread Baking Co. are to die for! You will not be disappointed with this quintessential Central Minnesotan local, organic coffee shop!

Today the Cafe au lait was delicious however our Almond Croissant had to be days old as needed to be carved up to eat. I would recommend sticking with their in house scones or muffins. The croissant is from an outside bakery and I have had direct from them.. when purchased direct these are delicious.
