Brought my VW Tiguan into KD with an oil leak and engine light on. They had the car for a week- not a big deal but 5 work days should be enough time to identify issue. I picked up car after "repairs" were complete- drove about a mile and engine light came on. Went back and they cleared the error with a scanner. By the time I got home engine light was on again and oil was leaking badly. I waited a day and "low oil" light came on. KD charged me $780.00 for repair and oil change- how could Tiguan be a quart low? Bottom line, I don't think they knew how to repair VW's. They offered to look at car again. Nice people, friendly but not qualified. Tiguan at VW dealer getting repaired- where it should be. Cannot recommend. read more

dropped vehicle off for alignment and employee assured me it would be able to be done same day. They called 30 minutes later stating they were beginning work, however they closed at 6 with no further communication. This left me in a position where I was unable to get to work the next day and had to use vacation time to cover it. No longer recommended, I have tried to use Indy shops like this as opposed to chains like tire discounters, but at least they are more reliable and have better communication. read more

LIARS! That sums up this place! they r theifs and liars! we told 3 exact problems we were having. literally said there was no power at a certain fuse and told them we replaced the fuse and still no power. 2 other problems given that specifically as well. after 5 days we were charged $800 for "diagnostics" that we doubt were ever performed. there were claims, including pics of the fuse box saying they fixed it...the fuses they circled on the paper had nothing to do with our problem and 2 are supposed to remain empty. did not even address the fuse we said had nothing power. other problems they lied about "fixing" as the problem still exists! The office manager has no business speaking with the public or explaining information. she's a total jerk. stay out of this place! read more

Prepair to pay a lot. They are not cheap and if they damage it you pay for it. Customer service is not that great a well.

They made a repair not near expected restoration. It was a wire repair. Instead replacing the OEM connector they welded the wires together on a 2023 vehicle. When the owner asked why, they were told they didn't specify. And yet charged him over $300 for substandard repair. It is always expected to return to OEM standards FIRST. read more

UPDATE!!!!! They charged my son for a new transmission and never replaced it. BEWARE!!!!!!! This mechanic shop is the last place you want to take your vehicle. They are complete frauds!!!!! My son took his vehicle in and they said he needed a new transmission. $4000 and almost three months later he had to have his vehicle towed to another mechanic. His car still doesn't run. KD said his car was ready 3 weeks after he dropped it off and when he picked it up the car literally shook. They kept it and then told him the transmission mount was bad and needed to be replaced. They admitted it was their mechanic who screwed up. Then the run around started. Weeks went by with excuse after excuse. Waiting on parts. Wrong parts being delivered. And so on and so on. When he finally told them he was picking up the car, it wouldn't even start. They refused to give him the invoice showing what they actually replaced or did. My son's 2015 Volkswagen is now un-drivable and he's out $4000. read more

We took my daughter's car to KD Auto Repair in Georgetown. On the notes I said to check the wheel bearings, I think they are going bad. They called and said they drove it and it needed new front brakes at over $500. So we gave the go ahead. It took 2 days, which is absolutely crazy!! And then when they called they had a list of other items they suggested totaling $1,400. We declined for now and went to pick the car up. When we picked it up they said when they were test driving to ensure the brake work. They noticed the front wheel bearings were bad. Imagine that!!! That's the original reason we brought it in to be checked. Needless to say we will be going elsewhere from now on!!! read more

If I could rate them a negative number I would. Worst experience I have ever had. Took my car in for minor routine repair with no other issues and my car has never been the same. After giving them over 6,000 for damage that I believe they caused but would never take responsibility for. All i have To show for it is more issues and I now have a broken latch on my hood that wasn't like that before. I'm not even going to call them about it because they will deny that they did it even though I just took my car there yesterday again. That was the 4th or 5th time I had to take my vehicle back. The first time they had it for over two weeks. I'm guessing it took that long to find/damage other parts of my car so they could charge me more and more and then some more!!! Really, I can't stress this enough, beware of this place! I believe they are not on the up and up, if you know what i mean!! read more

Nope, nope, nope, won't be going back there. Charged me almost $200 to diagnose the problem, and wanted another $700 to do the work (an outrageous price, I fixed it myself for $10 and a couple hours). When I declined, my truck was put back together badly, one piece broken, one piece lost, one piece mis aligned. My only positive for this business is the fact that they DID pick me up and drop me off. read more
