We have had our kitchen basically the same since our home was built. A friend of ours had their kitchen redone by KDI and we liked the outcome so much that we decided to do our kitchen too! It was easier than we thought as well. First we visited the showroom where we were walked through the entire process. We picked out a design with the help of one of their employees, scheduled an installation date, and waited. On the date at the time they promised they showed up and remodeled our kitchen in no time at all. The end product was great! We are now able to entertain guests and feel proud of how our home looks. It is amazing how just remodeling one part of your home can bring a completely new feel to the entire house. I highly recommend KDI!

After decades of putting off the dreaded move to gut our upstairs bathroom and have it renovated,…read morewe finally broke down and did it. After several estimates on the cost, we chose Kret Kitchen and Bath, on Eureka off of Fort St in Wyandotte. We were very impressed with their showroom and just walking into it gave me great inspiration and choices that helped me put it all together. We live in a two story Colonial which is decorated in the country theme. I wanted that same look as well for the new bathroom. Mike was a great help in making suggestions and bringing ideas to my attention. A pleasant surprise to me as I can surely be a normal female who thinks she has done all her homework on decorating! Mike was outstanding in his communication on the progress being done, any wait time on the choices we made, or just a simple check in to see how we were liking the choices we made, from the very beginning, right to the end of the job, we really appreciated that Mike! The area around the bathroom was prepped with a plastic wall to keep the dust from seeping into the bedrooms, plastic on the stairs and our front entrance foyer, was covered for protection with the outmost respect for our home. The crew lead by James and included Steve, Lyle and many other workers whose names I don't recall. These guys were just the best, polite, cheerful, always answered our questions with great knowledge, always on time, and if they were going to be late never failed to call us. All the choices I selected turned out to be winners and we couldn't be happier!! We highly recommend Kret, they are the real deal, the workers are a real asset, their products are excellent quality. For the choices we went with, the challenges they experienced and at times the hard work they did, the cost of our renovation was well worth it, before calling it a day their mess was always cleaned up, what more could we have asked for!!! After putting this off because of the inconvenience, had I known how easy it was going to be, we would of done it sooner, it's all you fault Kret!! Thank you A+ Bob and Debbie Hohn, Riverview

This company uses predatory business practices. They lure you in with their reputation and their…read morefancy show room and act super professional in the beginning - but the fact is they require $550 for an in person quote, and 50% down before starting... as soon as they received my 50% down payment (you should never do this, 50% gives the corporation far too much power) all of a sudden it's like a switch is flipped and they treat you completely different. That's because they have successfully trapped you, after that all promises of high quality, timely work, and project management that is supposed to be all of high standards, given the premium price points and additional costs of this "professional" establishment, stop existing. They then higher random 3rd party contractors for the bulk of the project for the cheapest prices - while charging you top dollar. They don't hold them accountable, and they don't care. You will have to beg to get them to show up, and beg for them to come back when round 1 ends up being such low quality work that you'll need a re-do. They do this on purpose because a lot of people want to avoid the headache and will accept the low quality work. Avoid this corporate nightmare, they deliberately will try to cut corners on you, they force you to manage your own project, and ultimately you'll realize you got completely taken advantage of. The time frame for the project they present is a lie. The high quality and professionals they promise it a lie. You need to beg to get their experienced pros - they will send you random workers they find who barely know what their doing for the first round - then give you the better workers if you complain. Get ready to get on your hands and knees begging for your project to get focused on while you try to compete with 10+ other people begging for their project to get done at the same time. They over schedule and don't care because all they care about is getting you wrapped up in the predatory contract and then that's it, you're trapped. Find businesses that don't have these predatory business practices, go directly to places and work with them directly. You don't need a glorified middle man to "manage" the project for you, it's nonsense - it actually overcomplicates the project and they don't manage anything anyways, they make you become a full time project manager or things will never get done - or be such low quality that it'll appear your premium priced project was a DIY job. If you respect your time, money, and soul, you won't use KSI corporate nightmare.

His crew was clearly untrained to do the work he sold us, and then he ghosted us after making our bathrooms WORSE than when they began. He said they'd be back "next week" but we haven't heard back from him in over 6 weeks and have to find a replacement contractor now. We wanted to like DA, but the deep carelessness of both Drew & his crew made the whole process miserable. He holds the warranty for our HOA's roof, so he gets a lot of business here and has a lot on the line with his reputation. We hired him for an initial $6k trial project to make sure we worked well together; there was another $12k on the line if he did halfway-reasonable work, yet he completely phoned it in over and over. Short list of specifics: - Drew regularly ignored text messages for weeks and failed to provide basic information that we asked for, even after reminders. - When the crew showed up, they did less than half the work that was on the invoice, then told us they were done with it ALL and left without letting us inspect the attic. They "finished" a scheduled 2-day project after around 4 total hours of work (which would have made the project cost $500/hour/person). I made them come back for the second day of work and they redid nearly everything. - Drew promised 10-14" of cellulose attic insulation, but we ended up getting cheaper fiberglass in hit-or-miss piles as low as 4". - I asked why they blew fiberglass instead of cellulose; he told me the ceilings "couldn't handle cellulose." I asked why he originally promised cellulose in that case; he said he "must have meant fiberglass" and that it's "comparable." But it's not comparable; it's completely different and has numerous downsides that we were specifically trying to avoid. Our HOA manager later confirmed that cellulose was a fine choice and that Drew could have used it. - We wanted to upgrade our rusty old bathroom fans that rattle and make noise, but the new fans he picked off the shelf (without any of our input whatsoever because he couldn't be bothered to ask) are even louder than before. They emit 94 decibels, which is as loud as a lawn mower (and louder than a vacuum cleaner); running these fans for more than 1 hour would literally be a NIOSH violation. - Drew argued that the fans were acceptable and were "in the contract" even though he never even asked us what fans we wanted (and the contract didn't specify a fan). Then after he left, the crew said "wow, it is a loud fan" when they thought we couldn't hear. - We weren't quoted for the cost of the building permit which turned out to be an extra $200+ surprise. His controller Jane was the only good part about the process; she was competent and responsive, so at least we were able to pay them on time for this nightmare.
