Krazy Eddys gets a big yikes on the breakfast burrito scale! $15 for what in essence was the tiniest burrito I've ever gotten from a place like this. Literally the size of a frozen burrito. Plus the ingredients were a huge mess, with thin lunchmeat, no egg, and no potato. Obviously this is not what people order at this restaurant. Avoid for sure. read more

We thought we'd try this place out because they had bagel sandwiches. I got the sausage, cheese and egg bagel and my son got a croissant. We thought both were pretty good and worth a shot for someone in the area. The guy behind the counter was pretty cool and definitely welcoming. read more

I am so glad I found this hidden gem in Laguna hills! This place is somewhat close to my workplace so I was happy to discover this spot. They have a spacious parking lot that is easy to find parking, a few cozy seating available in the shop, and super friendly and quick staff! The first day I came at noon and they were already sold out of their bagels. I ended up getting a glazed donut and a breakfast burrito and both of them were actually very good! I wouldn't wanted a bit more hash brown in my burrito though. The next time I went they had a sesame bagel left which I got with cream cheese and the texture of the bagel was so good. Most of the times around CA, the bagel tastes stale or too chewy but this was perfect. I will definitely be coming back here for their breakfast items! read more

The moment you walked in you were greeted with a smile by a wonderful employee or owner. It is your typical hole in the wall coffee shop where people gather with friends to grab a cup of jo and donuts which we saw when we came in. We ordered the tiger tail donut, soft. It's comparable to our first tiger tail experience at Donut man in Glendora. The breakfast bagel was not overloaded with cream cheese, the egg was freshly cooked omelet style, crispy bacon and moist and juicy sausage. We just wish the jalapeño cheese bagel had more jalapeños. The bagel itself was toasted on the outside but fluffy and soft on the inside. The price is a little steep for the bagel sandwich but being that that it's freshly made and quality ingredients and made with love with employees who were there we would totally come back and support. You know it's a great donut shop when whoever is packing your order throws in a few donut holes on the house. That little extra makes it for you to have a greater day and she thought of our kids so that was just her going above and beyond. read more

OK, so let's see if this will pass my personal favorite "Lemon doughnut checklist" ! Is the lemon doughnut, breading (or cake) light and fluffy? Is the lemon filling ratio wonderful ? Is it lightly sugar powdered? Is the filling perfectly sweet not over or under? (And outside glaze) Is it reasonably priced? And is it fresh and fresh tasting? Raised their prices 2 - 3 x in the last year; charge the same for plain as frosted; one employee there practically shouts at you and mocks you saying sarcastic snarky things like "Have the day you deserve." Cashier welcomes you right away. Just a few tables inside because the line area takes up some room but it's very clear on where to go. Some of their items are bit pricier but ingredients are clearly stated on the menu (posted conveniently everywhere). They have almond and oat milk, if you ask. read more

Located off lake forest and moulton pkwy?(I believe ) this donut shop is pretty popular and the donuts go by fast! We ordered breakfast sandwiches and wanted bagels but they were gone, it was around 10-11 am so you do want to go early. Also had Vietnamese coffee that was pretty good, the lady that helped us out was so nice that I am definitely coming back here for some delicious donuts, the donuts we did get were delicious. Like many others, I have been going to donuts shops for years. But for some reason "Krazy Eddy's" seems to be the only one that seems to run out of product. Within the last 5 months I have arrived there around 9:30am and at least 4 times (maybe more) they have been out of bagels and no donuts in the tray. Think about that: no donuts and/or no bagels. That is pretty sad. I stopped going there because it could be a wasted drive. You just never know. read more

Honestly I was going to give a 1-star rating but I added 1 star because the lady working was so nice and it is a family run small business. The breakfast burritos are $14 and incredibly janky, low quality and a total ripoff. It is made with "hash browns" aka 4 pieces of frozen tater tots -- not even real shredded potatoes, cut up frozen sausage patty like you would find in your egg McMuffin -- not even real sausage. They must have used Kraft cheese slices because it was hard, stuck to the tortilla, and barely there. Come on for $14 at least use shredded cheese, real potatoes, and sausage! Huge disappointment. The basic donuts are $1.80 each. That is absurd. read more

I was so disappointed by my $5 bagel. It barely has any cream cheese on it. It was made by the lady who also collected our payment. My family and I will not return. They lost a long time customer. The quality has been getting worst over the years while cost goes up. I used to think Krazyeddy has delicious bagels fill with insane amount of delicious cream cheese. I believe they changed ownership and it is really no longer krazyeddy because I noticed different crews rhe last few times I went in. You can see there are no cream cheese. I even asked the lady and she seems nice but said this is normal foe bagels. read more

First time here but have known about it for years. Don't know why it took so long to come here. Local family business who seem super sweet. Pretty standard fare for donuts and bagels. Ordered a toasted sesame bagel, Vietnamese iced coffee that was LEGIT delicious and freshly made from scratch, and 4 little cream puffs (the stars of of the show) which were accompanied my some extras that they generously threw in. Prices aren't "absurd" despite what other reviews have said, they are par for the course in this economy and for a south OC location. It's tough out here for small mom and pops so I'm happy to shell out a few more dollars to support when I can. Haven't tried their burritos or anything else, but I'll be happy to return. read more

I had heard Krazy Eddy's had some great donuts, but when I arrived late Saturday morning, they had a very limited selection of donuts. The donuts looked like all the kinds one would expect to see at any regular donut shop. I went with their chocolate old fashioned, blueberry, and maple bar donuts. All the donuts were priced at a very reasonable $1.30. Each of the 3 donuts that I tried were cake donuts and just ok taste wise. Out of the 3, I preferred the maple bar donut. After trying all 3 donuts, one thing did stand out, these donuts weren't very fresh. I've had far better donuts at the local donut shops near me. Overall, the donuts were not that fresh and mediocre taste wise. Pricing however is reasonable and the staff seemed friendly and eager to help. read more

My son loved the donuts here. He chose the plain raised glazed and the chocolate bar. ($3.75 total). So light and fluffy and delicious. We arrived around 9:30 on Sunday and they only had half a case of donuts available so I guess you really do need to arrive earlier for best selection. Great donut/breakfast/coffee spot w/ amazing service! I got a bacon, egg & cheese on a toasted, buttered whole wheat bagel. Bagel was fresh & soft. Could've enjoyed it on its own. Crispy bacon. Soft egg. Good amount of cheddar cheese. Delish. Also ordered the Vietnamese iced coffee. Perfect balance of coffee, ice, cream & sweetness. First time having one & really enjoyed it. She got a latte. She's super picky & only likes Starbucks. She even questioned if they had an espresso machine to properly make lattes. (They do!) Brandon, the cashier, was so patient & kind w/ my mom. Answered all of her coffee questions & even put a pretty design in her latte foam. The customer service was some of the best I've experienced. He even let us pay after we ate, which was unexpected for a spot they this, as you normally pay immediately. The trust & kindness really won me over. It's people like that that make you want to support a business. One note... My mom & I visited together at noon on a Friday. The selections were more slim as it was late in the day & closer to closing. I recommend going earlier for a wider array of options. I wanted an everything bagel but they were sold out & only had cheese, wheat & cranberry remaining. The positive... Brandon gave us complimentary donuts to go. (Thank you, Brandon!) He gifted a crueler, maple bar & chocolate cake donut w/ rainbow sprinkles. They were soooo yummy, soft & fresh. Such a nice treat for our first visit. Will be back! read more

The prices were comparable to other bagel chains. There are a few tables outside if you'd like to sit and eat, but most customers seemed to be grabbing their orders to go. Parking was easy since it's located in the same plaza as Home Depot. Service was quick and efficient, even though it was pretty busy on a Saturday morning. I'd definitely stop by again when picking up bagels for a group gathering.

Honestly I was not surprised that they messed it up like I said we expect for them to mess something up but messing something up that simple is honestly a bit crazy, I went back outside and the same server brought my bowl out (and by the way I forgot to mention she was the one who took my order) and I noticed that instead of my eggs being scrambled like I requested they were sunny side up. At that point I was just irritated and didn't say anything and ate the bowl. It really is not that hard to double check an order before you bring it out for the person who ordered it I don't understand why the kitchen staff and servers have such a hard time doing that. I still plan on going every once in a while but honestly it's getting to the point where if they keep screwing orders up I might ask to speak to the manager about it.

I work near this place, a lot of my co-workers recommended this place for breakfast and lunch. I grabbed a jalapeno bagel Breakfast Sandwich with egg , cheese, ham and bacon . The bagel was fresh and tasty ,nice and toasty. All the ingredients taste really fresh . They do make these sandwiches as you order them , nothing pre-made which I do not mind waiting for. I have never met a donut I didn't like at Krazy Eddie's. Their donuts are delicious and so are the pastries . I had the almond croissant this morning and I must say that it was delicious. Follow that up with a cup of Hawaiian Hazelnut coffee, and I'm having a great day! Besides the food being good, the service is awesome. Eddie interacts with all of his customers like they're old time friends and Sue is enthusiastic to help you choose the perfect treat. One thing that caught me off guard: I asked for a basic raised donut with vanilla icing and sprinkles, and was told it would be an additional charge. That felt a bit excessive considering it wasn't larger or particularly elaborate like some of their specialty-themed donuts. As for the donuts themselves, they were fine--nothing bad, but nothing especially memorable either in terms of flavor or texture. Overall, it's a decent spot if you're in the area, but there wasn't anything that really stood out to make it a go-to.

From South San Diego and we googled breakfast spots…read more.. Checked a few and decided on Forest Cafe for having great pictures and grwat reviews.. This place didnt disapoint. waffle tasted great. Not overcooked. Strawberries and Blueberries tasted fresh. Carne Asada Quesadill had great flavors. Cilantro and sour cream tasted good. Meat was good just hoe i asked it for. Great flavor over all. Green salsa on the side was spicy. Just the perfect amount of kick on the salsa. Definitely recommend this place. And Definitely will be coming back...

We originally found it through Yelp and saw people raving about the homemade food and it absolutely lived up to the reviews. I ordered the Denver omelet and it was excellent. The eggs were perfectly airy and creamy without being runny. The flavor was simple but spot on and the avocado paired really well with it. Nothing felt off or overdone. We also tried a few other dishes at the table. The chilaquiles were fantastic. The tortilla chips had a great crunch and were not soggy at all. Even though they looked heavily sauced in pictures the ratio was actually perfect. Enough salsa for flavor while still keeping the chips crispy. The salsa itself was very good and the egg on top was perfectly runny and yolky which was a big plus. The version with added cheese was also great. Service really stood out. One of our friends asked for no cheese on their chilaquiles and it accidentally came out with cheese. The staff handled it so kindly. They took it back immediately and as an apology one of the owners or cooks came out personally and brought us complimentary pancakes. That small gesture really showed how much they care. The owners were incredibly sweet and kept checking in asking if everything was good and sharing how much care and time they put into making everything homemade. You could genuinely feel that passion. Huge props to Forest Cafe. I would absolutely recommend it. A great little brunch and breakfast spot and definitely a place we will be coming back to.
