    Jalapeno Ham & Cheese off-center

Tried their ham & cheese again recently and the ham was dry and tasted old. I cant recommend this place for ham & cheese. Disappointed. First time not finishing a ham & cheese. I heard their breakfast burritos are good tho.

Doesn't look like much, but they're so good. Fluffy, moist and easy on the sweetness.

Linda's Coffee House...who would've thought they have such good breakfast burritos and donuts. Not me. That's for sure. We have been customers of Linda's Coffee House for several years now. It's usually my hubby that goes and grabs the food so I never get a chance to check-in on Yelp. Linda's, is located in the same lot as LA Fitness off of Portola and El Toro. Though it's a coffee house, you won't find seating inside like other coffee joints. They have a few tables and chairs outside the storefront. Linda's Coffee House, has delicious breakfast burritos and the salsas that come with it are great too. Unfortunately you can only have two salsas per burrito. Boo. I wish you could get 3-4 per burrito. It really is good. I usually order chorizo or bacon with extra bacon and easy on the hash. My favorite part about Linda's, are their donuts. These donuts are to me, the best. Even my kid who is picky but also not fond of donuts, loves the donuts here. Why? The donuts are fresh, moist, fluffy and the sweetness is perfect. I love sweets but it has to be just a little bit sweet. Places such as Krispy Kreme are good, but it's usually way too sugary for my liking. Service is fast and friendly with a smile. If you haven't already given them a try, you should really come by and grab some donuts and a treat.

This is the place to go for coffee, donuts, breakfast burritos, and everything you want. The crew is so friendly and sweet. My husband and I love coming here in the mornings!

Hair inside our breakfast burrito. Disgusting.

We ordered from Linda's Coffee house. A burrito and a blt croissant. The burrito was big and heavy but it came with a surprise. Linda's hair! Never again As for the blt too much mayo globbed on. When I mean globbed it was like they took the mayo spoon and dropped it on one side and didn't spread it. Also glad we asked for no mustard. Who puts mustard on blt?

    Flavorless barely any sausage burrito

It (Sausage burrito) was "good" at best and lacked flavor! And it SURE didn't look like the pictures! But it didn't suck! It was just "Okay"! It needed more Sausage! I don't even think there was 1 whole link in the entire burrito. Kinda disappointing. I don't think I'll get it again, or go back here. Sorry! Just being honest.

My family has been coming to Linda's for years. It's in a plaza with a large LA Fitness so there's plenty of parking. When you first walk into Linda's it may not seem like much, but the food is such good quality with a great amount of options. There's plenty of pre and post workout options to make it convenient for gym members. There's donuts, smoothies, amazing coffee, delicious croissants, and my don-in-law's favorite breakfast burritos. They have no problem making substitutions on made to order items. Today I placed an order in the Too Good To Go app. I payed $6.99 for a surprise box to pick up between 9am-1pm. They gave me a bakers dozen (13) scrumptious fresh donuts, including bars, twist, a cinnamon roll, glazed, and cake donuts! This box would've cost over $20 regularly. My teens were thrilled for an after school treat! Linda's will always be a family favorite!

This is the first time we ate here & it was because of the Too Good To Go app. I highly recommend! The service was fantastic too. Very friendly & helpful staff.

Bacon & sausage breakfast burrito with avocado (eggs over easy)

Best place in Lake Forest for Donuts. In addition, yummy breakfast burritos. One of the ladies at Linda's highly recommended to try their breakfast burritos one morning. She noticed, I only get donuts from them. I told her I would try their breakfast burrito if she would make the eggs over easy and Leeka said no problem. So, I ordered the bacon , sausage breakfast burrito with avocado (eggs over easy). It definitely hit the spot with their homemade salsa. The service is always excellent. Everyone that works there is very friendly and happy working there. Their shop is always clean and organized. Overall, this place is a weekly spot for us. We will definitely be back for donuts & breakfast burritos .

I used the "Too Good To Go" app to get a good deal on random stuff. What I got was a beautiful selection of a dozen doughnuts. My assumption was, like the bagel places that participate, that they would fill the box with stuff they knew would be left over by the end of the day. It was immediately clear these were not that day's doughnuts. The texture of them was of those at least a day old, like they had been refrigerated. Parts of them were sampled, but every declaration from my family was that they were stale. This review only reflects the deal from the app. I would avoid that, unless you ask for assurances that the doughnuts are from the same day. I probably should have guessed that they weren't fresh, since the person who brought the box did not fill it from the case in front. They were retrieved from the back... The staff was friendly.

Huge breakfast burritos but mostly soft mushy shredded potato's. I opened it up to see where the eggs were and there were only specs. Maybe one egg if that in this huge burrito. They added a nice amount of sausage and cheese but I was just disappointed with how little egg was included. I took out some potatoes and made my own scrambled egg and remade it. I don't recommend for $10.99. The donuts are good, that is the only other item I had here.

We originally found it through Yelp and saw people raving about the homemade food and it absolutely lived up to the reviews. I ordered the Denver omelet and it was excellent. The eggs were perfectly airy and creamy without being runny. The flavor was simple but spot on and the avocado paired really well with it. Nothing felt off or overdone. We also tried a few other dishes at the table. The chilaquiles were fantastic. The tortilla chips had a great crunch and were not soggy at all. Even though they looked heavily sauced in pictures the ratio was actually perfect. Enough salsa for flavor while still keeping the chips crispy. The salsa itself was very good and the egg on top was perfectly runny and yolky which was a big plus. The version with added cheese was also great. Service really stood out. One of our friends asked for no cheese on their chilaquiles and it accidentally came out with cheese. The staff handled it so kindly. They took it back immediately and as an apology one of the owners or cooks came out personally and brought us complimentary pancakes. That small gesture really showed how much they care. The owners were incredibly sweet and kept checking in asking if everything was good and sharing how much care and time they put into making everything homemade. You could genuinely feel that passion. Huge props to Forest Cafe. I would absolutely recommend it. A great little brunch and breakfast spot and definitely a place we will be coming back to.

My mom had ordered their fresh blueberry muffins and she enjoyed it along with her coffee. I didn't try the muffin this time because I wanted something savory. Next time for sure because it looks delicious. I had ordered the #1 on the menu choice of meat with eggs (any style). I ordered my plate with bacon, eggs over medium, with hash browns styled "Those Hash-browns" which has onions and bell peppers. (Not to be confused with house potatoes fyi). I also had it with a side of toasted sourdough. It had hit the spot for a breakfast plate and the price was very reasonable compared to other breakfast spots. The portions I feel were perfect. I took leftovers home (hash browns wise). I can't wait to come back with more family and friends and be able to just indulge in the yummy items of their menu. 11/10 for me. More than 5 stars to be honest. I'm glad we decided to stop here.
