This is my second visit ordering a very simple meal: two side orders of bacon and buttered toast. Unfortunately, both visits resulted in incorrect orders. On my first visit, the same cashier rang me up for four orders of bacon after I clearly requested two. Today, I again asked for two sides of bacon and received only one--despite repeating myself three times. Another employee eventually stepped in to assist, yet even with their help, I was still only rung up for one order of bacon instead of two. While the cashier is polite, repeated order errors like this are extremely frustrating, especially when the order is minimal. It's usually my hubby that goes and grabs the food so I never get a chance to check-in on Yelp. Linda's, is located in the same lot as LA Fitness off of Portola and El Toro. Though it's a coffee house, you won't find seating inside like other coffee joints. They have a few tables and chairs outside the storefront. Linda's Coffee House, has delicious breakfast burritos and the salsas that come with it are great too. Unfortunately you can only have two salsas per burrito. Boo. I wish you could get 3-4 per burrito. It really is good. I usually order chorizo or bacon with extra bacon and easy on the hash. My favorite part about Linda's, are their donuts. These donuts are to me, the best. Even my kid who is picky but also not fond of donuts, loves the donuts here. Why? The donuts are fresh, moist, fluffy and the sweetness is perfect. I love sweets but it has to be just a little bit sweet. Places such as Krispy Kreme are good, but it's usually way too sugary for my liking. Service is fast and friendly with a smile. My family has been coming to Linda's for years. It's in a plaza with a large LA Fitness so there's plenty of parking. When you first walk into Linda's it may not seem like much, but the food is such good quality with a great amount of options. They gave me a bakers dozen (13) scrumptious fresh donuts, including bars, twist, a cinnamon roll, glazed, and cake donuts! This box would've cost over $20 regularly. My wife and I moved to the area two and a half years ago. We stumbled onto Linda's coffee house originally because of their AWESOME breakfast burritos. We've had the bacon the ham the steak and the turkey. All are exquisite and exactly what you would want in a breakfast burrito. We then ventured to their coffee and freshly squeezed juices. All are super tasty. Then our son became a toddler and now it's our mandatory stop for donuts after soccer. We really wanted to love this place and we order from here at least 2 or 3 times a week with a bill of $30 (with smoothie). That's a lot of money over a month's time. But today we ordered 2 burritos with cheese and bacon and they tasted awful as there was no cheese in them. When I went back to have them remade, they opened both burritos to look at them, then told me they would only remake one burrito (after they had touched them with no gloves). Argued with me until I said I would take a refund. Then they remade them, but this is only after arguing with me. This is a food service business- you should strive to make customers happy. Even if they were filled to the brim with cheese but tasted funny and the customer wanted an order remade it should be done without arguing with them. read more
