Ask the Community - Keahumoa Place

Are there any 4 bedrooms available for rent, and how much monthly?

They only have 1,2,3br units. Monthly ranges from 800-2800 depending on family size, unit size and income. When I lived here 2 years ago I think paid 1288 for a 2/1 the unit size was very small in my opinion....

Does every unit have a lanai?

Just about, certain units don't have a lanai.. Be careful of kids looking into your unit, it's very wide open!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Shayna Flores at Kapilina Beach Homes! From the moment…read morewe first connected, Shayna's kindness, compassion, and incredible dedication shone through. She is truly non-judgmental and made us feel completely understood and supported throughout the entire process. Shayna went above and beyond to work with us, ensuring that we found a home that was perfect for our needs. She listened, showed incredible patience, and treated us with so much respect. It felt like she was genuinely invested in helping us--not just as a leasing agent, but as someone who cares deeply about people. Her superhero power? Making housing work when it feels impossible! Shayna turned what could have been a stressful experience into something manageable and even hopeful. Thanks to her, we are now settled in a home that fits our family perfectly. If you're looking for a leasing agent who is not only amazing at her job but also a genuinely kind and compassionate human being, look no further than Shayna Flores. She's the absolute best!

Kapilina...I mean, you get what you pay for I guess. Let me start with the good. For the space we…read moregot (~1500 sq ft), rent was cheaper than most places if you take into consideration the 'gated' community, other amenities and basically beachfront property. The elementary school is great and the proximity to the high school was nice, too. The staff are always kind, accommodating, and they really do what they can with what they have. I want to believe that how they approach issues is more of a property management problem than a staff problem. For example, we had mold issues in our bathroom and adjacent kitchen wall, after we had water leaking from the ceiling and out from inside our wall panel and hvac pipes (especially after heavy rain). The staff would come and repair it, but usually it would be to scrub off as much mold as possible and re-caulk or paint over the molded surfaces. Again, prompt and professional, but not entirely resolving the problem as much as putting a bandaid over it until it gets too obviously unsafe for next time. It has the same issues every other community probably has--noisy dogs, kids left unattended at the park, loud cars and neighbors with domestic issues at all hours--the usual. Like I said, you get what you get and we made the best of it, but we're glad to have moved on.
