We started with the shumai, a pork dumpling appetizer, and it was scrumptious. I had the spicy ahi poke bowl, which is always fantastic, but this time it somehow seemed even better. Fresh, flavorful, and so satisfying. My wife had the pulled pork dish, and she actually said it might be one of the best dinners she's ever had in Atascadero. That pretty much says it all. For dessert, we split a chocolate mousse cake drizzled with a delicious berry sauce, topped with fresh strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries. It was absolutely delectable. Kula is such a unique place for the area. It's hard to find Hawaiian food like this nearby, and it adds so much to Atascadero to have that kind of variety and quality available locally.
