The food is good and very friendly service! We are always order at this place for my work . Also, private parking lot for kebab daddy is a plus since parking in Montrose old town can be a bit of a struggle. We love this place

Kebab Daddy is an excellent place for meat. The staff is super helpful and accommodating, they will even suggest the best deal depending on how many people you're feeding. My favorite of the meats so far was the tri-tip. Their chicken was also perfectly tender. Their eggplant salad was also excellent. Perfectly smoky. The owner is wonderful. He's super knowledgeable about the cuts of meat. I'll definitely be back.

Owners DM to me after review

Look at the owners response who is claiming I'm a racist. His staff offered pita and garlic the first time I went there. The meat was over seasoned. And now he claims I want to make a "meal" out of it. This guy doesn't deserve a single dollar or business from anyone in the Montrose community. Pathetic, and cannot handle an observation or feedback

I went to montrose for a festival and after saw this place when vendors closed shop. I like kebabs and Mediterranean food. Inside, it is clean and put well together. The service was not great. Poor execution, no ambition or enthusiasm at all from the front register. But, at least it was tolerable. The food taste itself was unfortunate for the price. My two burritos: the sujuk and the basturma were salty and the ingredients inside were heavily fried in oil. I enjoyed the basturma burrito more because it had a great texture to the wagyu meat as they say, but not much of it. The burrito was basically a breakfast burrito with wagyu beef. It had beef, eggs, tater tots, onions and a garlic cream sauce. It should have been bigger considering it was $20 and I had much better tasting and bigger burritos elsewhere. Gyromania has cheaper and bigger along with better tasting and value than this. The service was also better than this. Sauces? They are extra. One of the dips you could purchase for $10 which contained a measly medium sized container. The dips were hummus and a garlic cream sauce. A pita wrap with chicken was also ordered and it was not great. It was average. The other wrap was beef and it was also average. The taste was okay, not chewy but not succulent either. Wait time was about 20 minutes long. The best of them all was their seasoned French fries which should not be the highlight but they were crunchy, seasoned well and flavorful. You need to pay more for water and other drinks as well at a steep price. I would say based on the overall experience, I would give 4/5 because it was unique tasting and clean inside. Service and food for value were horrible. Luckily, the French fries were the best I ever had and although not healthy, they tasted better than any others I have tried in my life.

TLDR: Hear me out, if you have any doubt about chicken being less superior to beef or other meat. TRY the chicken thigh here. It makes justice for chickens (I still need to try their beef or lamb tho) I was running errands in Glendale today and I was starving and looking for lunch spots around. Turns out Mini Kabob was 3 mins walk away, it was a no brainer, my feet just took me there. Didn't expect to go there, so didn't order ahead but I'm fine with waiting. After last time's magnificent chicken thigh, I was determined to try their other entrees. However, Armen said the chicken thigh is the best seller out of their entrees- well, time for a round 2 I guess? This time I'm eating the entree at the spot and I just gotta say- IT SLAPS!! I'm genuinely not a big fan of chicken, because when you can choose beef why chicken? But this chicken is so juicy, so tender, so heavenly. Yummy!! The garlic sauce is great but the hummus and the fresh lavash, h o l y - f. Last time it was already so good even as a leftover, and eating it right at the spot is just transcending. I also tried their Armenian pear soda, it's delicious and refreshing with the heat right now in summer. I left with my tummy happy and their service is always great, they get busy but still no attitude, no bs, gives the right recommendations. Even this is like a take out restaurant, it still surpasses most of the kabob restaurant. Without doubt I'm coming back again after their break, please be there. I love you mini kabob

But it is without question the most important Armenian restaurant in the world. Armenians are simultaneously a diaspora people, a people of the book, and an old country people. Therefore, odd as it may seem, it is entirely appropriate that the most important Armenian restaurant in the world should not be located in Armenia at all, but should serve a diaspora community in a way that makes them feel connected to home, both interns of cuisine and in terms of communal warmth. Technically, this is more of a Lebanese restaurant than an Armenian restaurant, but that hardly matters. It's a place of celebration, merriment, laughter, and tears. In short, it is THE gathering place for Armenians in Southern California. Because of its fame and importance, the thing that is consistently overlooked about this restaurant is just how excellent the food is. Bring a Lebanese expat here and you will invariably hear them say after the first bite of hummus that it doesn't compare to the hummus they used to enjoy in Beirut. By the middle of the bowl, they will say that it actually is not as bad as they first thought. By the end of the bowl they will declare that this hummus ranks among the greatest they have ever tasted. Carousel does not overwhelm you. It seduces you. And you'll be back.

I was raised with koobideh, and I like to think I can differentiate between the good and the bad. I was referred to this Restaurant by a gentleman running a Persian Café nearby who had run out of koobideh for the day, so I gave it a shot. The building façade is unsuspecting, very plain and discreet. When I walked through the big double doors, I found a pristine dining room with understated ambience. I was immediately greeted at the door by attentive staff and assumed a seat at the bar. I noticed the Kashke Bademjan on the menu and gave it a chance. This is an eggplant dip that is relatively easy to mess up. But here it's absolutely delicious. Perfectly prepared. Reminded me of the stuff my grandmother used to make. In anticipation of the kebab, the server brought me pads of butter, raw, sliced onion, and sumac. These people know exactly what they're doing. I can't tell you how many times I've been to Persian restaurants where these essentials were not provided. Whereas normally, I would have to ask for these things, and often restaurants will lack these these essentials, they were brought to me here before I even asked. Very impressed. Then came the koobideh. And I was genuinely impressed. It was tender, juicy delicious, full of flavor. The saffron rice was also well prepared, and I enjoyed every bite, the entire experience. If you're looking for Premier Persian cuisine look no further. This is the place. As we say, "dastet shomah dahd nahkohn", literally translated to "don't hurt your hand", an expression of gratitude towards those who serve you and provide fantastic meals like the one I had here. Merci.

This is the REAL. DEAL. Armenian BBQ. You can smell it. That smell? Delicious happiness. It's located in the back back back part of a strip mall parking lot. Atleast with the fried potato's I could have lied to myself on how they were made hahaha You rip a piece of bread, put lamb and rice on it, put onion and herbs on that, and then a little potato salad on that. We parked and walked the entire plaza before finally spotting it tucked into the back corner. My tip: drive as deep into the plaza as you can before parking. You order at the door and it's cash only. There's a large communal table by the entrance along with a few standing tables. Since it was the afternoon, the whole area was nice and cool in the building's shadow, so waiting wasn't bad. We still got our food to go because some people nearby were smoking. I ordered the lamb chops, which came on a bed of rice, sumac onions, lavash, and a chunky charred green pepper of some sort. The lamb chops were very tasty--crispy edges, meaty and juicy in the middle. They were thick, and all the fat was intact, which I loved. The lavash and rice were good, but I wasn't a fan of the onions, and the pepper was too spicy for me. Because of that, I kind of wished there was a different side, maybe something cooler, but that might just be me. Overall, the chops were great for the price. I'd go again and maybe try the pork chops next. My partner got the combo Lula, and it was decent, but to me it wasn't exceptional compared to other local kabob spots (cause there are a lot of good kabob places in Glendale). The lamb, though, gets my highest marks. I'm still thinking of them (we are there yesterday).
