Soooo it's okay. Just okay. The meat was simultaneously oily and dry. Idk how you achieve this combination, but here we are. The rice was greasy, but good. If they would have used a little less oil, it would have been perfect. The eggplant dip was delightful. Service was quick and everything in the rather large order was correct, and that's something. They are deceitful in their pricing. Although their menus have the price I was charged about $6 extra when I saw my receipt. They turned the 2 page menu over and at the very bottom in small letters he pointed and said I should have read it "prices subject to change". Living in Glendale I've tried more than my fair share of kebabs. Kebab Daddy is definitely in the forefront of being what the French would call "Les Amazing." There's no over-the-top decorations or linen tablecloth's here. Basic seating with some chairs and tables. No high-end art hanging on the walls and no waiters in all black pouring your water. The star or stars of this place are: 1. The staff. First time here and I've never felt so welcome by an establishment that's never met me. The young lady behind the counter was truly amazing. She was beyond helpful, informative, and just plain nice. She helped my mom and me make our decisions and everything was based off what we like and not trying to upsell us. When we were leaving a gentleman, tallish, and bald and in the kitchen and whom I'm assuming was the manager asked how everything was then proceeded to give us a box, then wrap up our food, threw in some extra lavash and thanked us for our business. Aaaaaamazing. 2. The food! Harris Ranch beef and high end quality for their ingredients also make this place stand out. My mom had the combo plate. The beef shish kebab that came with rice and a side salad hummus and their garlic yogurt. The beef is cooked to order and even at medium well was soft enough to cut with a spoon. The rice is good, nothing amazing but still pretty good. Side salad was also good. The hummus was delicious. Ground it to perfection with the right amount of spice. But the store is there garlic yogurt. Not the traditional garlic sauce you find at other Mediterranean spots which is a garlic style paste. The creaminess and texture of the yogurt with the slight spice of garlic is phenomenal. I went ahead and had the chicken kebab bowl. A bowl of their rice topped off with pieces of dark meat chicken and you can add hummus and the garlic yogurt for about a dollar more. Chicken was cooked perfectly. Succulent and juicy. All in all an amazing little find out here in this area. Parking can be tricky. They are a joining a parking lot but they share it with many others so I would opt for street parking. They seem to get busy around lunch so be prepared to wait or come a little before or after. 10 out of 10 all around read more

Take your time scrutinizing the menu before ordering, or you may miss out on certain menu options that can be very appealing, such as their Paleo Plate, which is 2 meat skewers plus 1 veggie skewer for $11.00. That would have been the perfect dish for me, but because their menu is broken up into 4 sections, and if you did not look to the top left of the menu board, you would have missed their speciality options for those who are on a paleo diet, or are vegan. With the lavash bread, their food is marketed as gluten free, which was one of the reasons why I chose this place for dinner last Saturday night, as my friend has Celiac's Disease. The restaurant is clean and wee kept. The menu is concentrated but with just the right amount of options. The food was delicious. Everything tasted fresh, perfectly cooked abs served quickly and with a smile. The steak and vegetables and pork belly was cooked perfectly. The pork belly was a bit too fatty got me. I've been to many many more delicious kabob/kebab stops and this isn't one of them. Their kabab special was NOT even that special. I ordered the paleo plate which probably is the best offering there if you want to keep it lean and mean and protein filled. Chicken thigh kabob was nice and juicy but the luleh that I usually love just felt a little spongy. I also brought my dog over and so i paid outside and they were so kind to take my order from outside and give my dog water! But the one thing that triggered me is she took my card and didn't tell me how much it would be and charged me and didn't even give me a receipt. Well I tried it again this time getting something a little bit more main street like chicken breast rice and fries. I figured it be something that is a lot more mainstream. And I was really surprised that the rice and Fry's weren't as good as the sweet potato fries and hummus. The rice was still pretty good in the fries were still pretty good. I think I would've liked my Fries better if I got more catch up. The chicken was done OK but a lot like the lamb I had it was not a very pleasing texture. I don't know if it was over cooked? But instead I'm getting more more disappointed. I'm almost to the point where I'm just going to order sides and hummus. And not get any of the bread. The chicken breast bowl comes with brown basmati rice, some salsa or chopped tomatoes and onions, and the chicken breast is well seasoned and it's not dry. Unfortunately we didn't like the brown basmati it was too hard to chew and we didn't order brown rice, we told the cashier many times that we want the white basmati rice. The daddy's famous lule bowl is delicious!! It has white basmati rice, the way the rice was cooked is perfect. It comes with salsa and the daddy's famous lule is juicy, yummy, and its it goes with tj salsa on the side. The customer service is okay. I've notice most of the reviews are about the wrap so I guess I will come back and try the wrap. :) read more

Kebab Daddy has a great deal of potential, but a somewhat complicated menu and questionable execution lead the experience to fall just short of expectation. Star 1: How were the service and atmosphere? The folks at Kebab Daddy are exceptionally nice and service is fast, but the menu is a confusing one. I would have loved to see a column that essentially said "Hey there, here are all the things you can get in a wrap once you've chosen your meat". Instead, they show the meat which I chose, but then I had to sit there and have the lady behind the counter explain to me what was inside the wrap by default. I don't like tomatoes, but it seemed like excluding only tomatoes wasn't an option, so I asked that they hold the blend. She made it seem like I should add something, so I asked to add fries, which wasn't an option. Hummus inside? No but we can put garlic sauce in there. Sure. I finished up and waited for my wrap, which as you'll see was a bit lacking on account of this aforementioned confusion. Star. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? My Chicken Lule Wrap was $7.00, which was good value given the size of this wrap. Star. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? So it might be hard to tell from the photo, but while my wrap was huge, it consisted only of chicken, rice, and some garlic sauce. In excluding tomatoes I had excluded lettuce and seemingly all other peripherals, which made for a bit of a bland experience. Again this could well be my fault for not understanding the concept, but it would have been nice to know that this was all I was getting. It's worth pointing out that the chicken and rice were both excellent, but there just wasn't enough here. Single Star. Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could? I'm confident I can have a great experience at Kebab Daddy, but it took a mediocre experience to understand how to go about doing that. No Star. read more

The chicken was overly salty and the grilled eggplant was horrible I usually order chicken when I go out for kebabs, but trust me when I tell you to just order the beef lule kebabs. I got tired of my salty chicken, so I tried some of my husband and son's beef lule kebabs and those were delicious. They seriously need to re-think the marinade for the chicken, cut down on the salt on the grilled vegetables and get rid of the eggplant the way it is being grilled. read more
