I'm glad I came to read these reviews so that I know I'm not just crazy. I thought the treatment id received here was discriminatory because im young & Asian.. but after reading the reviews, I think the employees are just severely lacking in the customer service department. The first time I came in I brought 2 bags to sell and was nervous / had a lot of questions since it was my first time ever consigning. I ended up selling 1 but the process was not comfortable, and the employees (especially the blonde manager who is mentioned a lot here) were so condescending in their responses as if I was supposed to know their policies by heart before selling.... Next comes to buying, I have purchased two bags and sunglasses here, but even that process was like pulling teeth. Everyone is always frowning at you. And I had asked an employee to see a few bags and put one on hold for me until my item was authenticated so I could use credit towards it and she never did... she walked away from me as quickly as humanly possible. I had asked to see a bag and said "oh it's so cute but there's a small stain" to which she replies with an attitude "yes, that's obviously why it's on sale." ???? No thank you! Although this business sells luxury, your experience is nothing close to what it SHOULD be. I have bought 1000's of dollars of items through you years from keeks even before they consolidated and moved to plano and overtime it's really gone down hill. I was there this week and there were 3 people at the front and no customers and I was not even greeted, I had to go to them. I bought a Chanel belt but it was brutal, it was a task just asking about authenticity and i was given 2 different answers. Only reason I bought it was because I really wanted it, would have rather take my money somewhere else. I brought a dear friend there in February with her husband on their anniversary to help her find her first ever luxury handbag at the age of 71. The blonde manager who has been called out on these reviews was so unpleasant especially for a luxury experience, snooty, rude, and acted as if it was a problem for her to try things on. What a shame for what could have been a lovely experience for my dear friend. I unfortunately have to align with the messages below. There used to be a Keeks much closer to me but they closed so I have to go to Plano and it's becoming a nightmare. They need to keep a better log of the transactions especially when you've bought and sold before. Sometimes you luck out on a helpful and supportive employee but most of the time, no one speaks to you. I've come in with stuff to sell (or trade) and it's as if they are analyzing what you have before they speak. I had to say something only because while some interactions are dicey this current issue is by far the worst. I've never had to wait three days for a pay out, called four times, told it was ready, then it wasn't then it was and not they are "cannot be authenticated". The back story, I own a pair of Fendi boots that I bought FROM the FENDI store in Highland Park. I have never worn the boots and while I love them sometimes life leaves you with hard choices. PRICING ISSUES/INCONSISTENCY/POOR RECORD KEEPING: I sold them the boots (in the BOX brand new, dust bags, and even the original receipt, 1300.00 boots). I sold them last year and luckily when things got better about six months later I was so excited they were still available and I bought them back for double the payout of course; which was low considering but it is consignment. They even knew it was me and sent me a sweet note saying "Hey M..... glad you got your boots back). I made a note to please make sure they are still in the box, dust bags etc. (sometimes they give that stuff to other people). Now hard times have hit, so I took them in April 8, 2025 to see what the offer would be (No winter so the boots weren't worn; trust me I want to some day but life has been hard to say the least). I didn't leave the boots, I didn't think the offer was enough, but I did sell Gucci and Tiffany bracelets. STAFF ISSUE: I went in 5/15 and Here we are 4 days into to what should've been a 72 hour process. I called 5/14 spoke with Caroline, she said if I could get out there Friday close to 11am, they could get them authenticated and paid out the same day since THEY HAVE ALREADY BEEN AUTHENTICATED MORE THAN ONCE THERE! I had a Dr.s appointment then headed right to PLANO (which is an hour from where I live; she assured me that anyone could help). Go in Boots, Tiffany Glasses & Necklace. (Authentication 1; offer given, not great...and there is a whole other issue about the young lady "helping" me). It's just ironic that every person makes their own rules in that moment (I hate that I don't know her name) she made her own. I know some of the people pretty well; they usually just help out with cash under 400. She wouldn't budge on 350, forcing me to take an item (the necklace) back so that I can get cash instead of a check (which they also say you cannot cash for 24 hours...seriously?). Called Saturday, was told my cash would be ready between 3-4, nothing! Sunday, re-explained the same situation; now I'm p.....d. Keep in mind the boots have been there BEFORE and even had their sale price sticker on the side of the box. NOW 47000 calls later and a non-existent manager that didn't call back...the boots that spent more time there than I've had them mysteriously COULD NOT BE AUTHENTICATED???? SAY WHAT? FOLLOW THRU: Saturday young lady nice but misled me and didn't pass the note along. Thank God for Carol who actually investigated and knew someone should've called me about the issue. She is the literally the only one that told me what was going on but the manager can't call until Tuesday. I have to wait two more days for a manager to call me to figure out what the H..l is going on. Before I drive an hour with no determination. I'm concerned that my NWT boots have been tampered with. But that actually means I will be on day 7 when she is back in the store to tell me why this is happening. I wish there were other consignment options truly. EXPLORE YOUR OPTIONS: At this rate you may be better selling them to a pawn shop that specializes in luxury items. I know how to authenticate items pretty quickly (there's an app that pawn shops use takes 10 seconds). This is INSANE. I don't see how they authenticate 2 times but 3 times and you don't know? If I get my boots back, they better be exactly how I brought them in. The girl on Friday was sooo rude and lacked any level of empathy. Prayerfully I will never be in a situation where I have to undervalue my things when life is hard.The stress and the climate (especially as some have noted towards POC) is also hard even when the salesperson is one. I would've thought me calling everyday would've prompted a manager to step in. Not only will I have to avoid selling, I will have to avoid buying (that sucks). It's like being looked down upon because you are selling nice things. Beware if you are hoping to sell your designer bags to them. They have a bait and switch routine whereby they will give you an estimate range for buyout and then when you bring your bag in their offer is actually less than the lowest end of the original estimate. They claim that the offer is dependent upon the "market". The estimate is done by one person and the offer is made by the buyers ergo they are not the same. I call BS! Keeks has a really great selection of bags, wallets & shoes and I like that you can just take a drive and grab something if you are in a rush as opposed to waiting for shipping. I will say that unfortunately their prices for their resale items are higher than any designer resale store I've been to, and the resale value they offer if you sell items is much lower than other stores as well. The customer service can also be hit or miss, unfortunately. I have had the pleasure of being greeted by and chatting with some incredible people, but have also experienced walking in and the staff is congregated near the registers but doesn't turn to greet or acknowledge you, are on phones or speaking (loudly) poorly about other guests who were in the store prior. My daughter, baby Peyton Grace, and I were the only ones in the store. We hold Peyton Grace when shopping, or she rides in her stroller. This time we were carrying her. We knew this would be a quick shopping spree. I already knew they had the cross body purse I wanted, plus many many more. Beautiful bags everywhere in the store. The salesperson assisted us, but we never felt welcomed. Just that weird vibe you get, I felt it the moment we walked in. My daughter said, just hurry I want to leave. Y'all I just hate to eat my words (they're probably high in carbs), as until a few months ago I was sooo not a proponent of pre-owned luxury, and I was very vocal about this by sharing a business case to support my opinion. Just to save a couple hundred on something someone else had first was so not worth it if there are any signs of wear (investment, resale value, basic economics, numbers, blah blah) unless you love vintage...but I've learned 3 things: 1. You can find bags for resale at a small savings that were probably never carried with zero defects 2. There are major deals if you know what you're doing (do your research) 3. Sadly I do not have the bag budget of my girl Sophie Shohet Anyway, Keeks is a huge store where it's easy to social distance, staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, they have a great selection of bags in every condition (also some jewelry, belts, and shoes), and even many vintage bags worth a look if you collect or restore (lots of Chanel, Gucci, and LV, but sadly not enough Dior). Of course they authenticate so don't worry - plus there's a 14 day return policy but I think you must leave the tags on (read your receipt!!!). Also, you must show your photo ID to purchase and return. Now I am going to talk about the item I purchased more specifically so if you care, keep reading, if not, have an awesome day... As I reviewed recently, my first purchase of a pre-owned (but sparkling new) bag was an LV Damier Neverfull at another store. I said I'd n.e.v.e.r. carry this giant, basic, "throw all your crap in it" bag, as everyone in the Dallas burbs has the same one (or an Artsy) and now it's my go to for essential errands, as my dressy bags collect dust due to quarantine. No hate mail please, this is my review and there are just too many Neverfulls out there. I was in the Plano area and stopped at Keeks to ask about resale prices (which confirmed I'd make more selling my overflow stock at home privately as I've been doing) and THERE SHE WAS - another Neverfull all crispy and new, but not only was it flawless, it was a special edition with the artwork done at LV on monogram canvas with black handles, bespoke my heart! (Get it?) FYI, I prefer dark handles as I don't carry vachetta anymore bc I don't like the patina process. The good: I got $600 off the regular price bc the little pouch which I wouldn't use anyway was not included (usually sold sep for another $500) The bad: The bag was personalized with initials which makes me wonder why the recipient would ditch a brand new bag made just for her, messy divorce perhaps? But I bought her, bc I'm not proud and I was never going to drop the $ on the new version. Also I know a guy who knows a guy who makes his living repairing/restoring/customizing and un-customizing bags, so for a hundred bucks the initials are removed and I have a brand new Neverfull in a design I have never seen anyone else carry. High five if you made it to the end and your eyes didn't glaze over - you must love bags as much as I do ;) I will definitely shop at Keeks again and I hope they call me if they get a Dior green camo saddlebag bc I'll take it! read more

I will say I've been following this business of social media for a long while. Also, I had always wanted to purchase something there because I love Dallas and used to live there and wanted my purchase to be from someplace that means something to me when I do purchase a designer handbag. That being said, I had high expectations when I walked in. I did hear a hello as I walked in but then ignored by a slew of staff while I slowly walked all over the store for a good 20 minor more. Not one person asked if I needed to see anything, try anything on, or even smile at me. I saw serval employees (maybe even the owner or manager bc she had a computer on her lap) having conversations with each other. I was literally 2 feet from her and didn't even get a smile. They couldn't possibly be bothered with someone who came in with intention to purchase items. I almost walked out when it was over 30min of browsing with no help and FINALLY was asked if I was okay and I did try on a few bags with a sweet employee and did end up purchasing a bag. That being said, I came in with intention of purchasing some matching items with my college aged daughter and I was just over the store by this point. We'll go to the actual brand store or look at the real-real. My daughter is in college and we both flew to Dallas for her spring break and this was one of our stops where we were going to purchase something meaningful together and I just can't get over how rude most people were. I had questions about a Chanel bag and they were more than happy to answer everything and with no pressure or hurry. Great selection of bags! Allow plenty of time as they offerings are extensive! From Chanel to YSL TO MCM, Goyard and Gucci and LV, this is an impressive collection! Although I didn't purchase this time, I left feeling very welcomed and will most definitely return! I have been to this store a couple of times, the customer service is terrible. They are unorganized, unprofessional. Sales associates stand around talking to each other.. I sold a LV bag and came to pick up my check. They told me to go to the other counter and someone would give me the check. I was standing there for a good 10-15 mins when other customers were helped before me and the sales associates doesn't acknowledge me and I finally said is someone going to get my check, and the sales guy says go to the other counter. I have been shopping at this store for years and have almost always had a great experience until today. I have literally spent thousands and thousands of dollars at this store, but I like to buy in bulk so I can see what bags look good with certain clothes and then I keep what I like/ love and return items that I don't. I moved and happened to be in town and excited to buy some new items. I bought several items over a few days and kept some and retuned some. Today I had some rude chick(manager?) with long brow hair tell me if you return items 3 times they flag your acct and you can no longer return things. Really?! I knew exactly what I wanted and told the sales associate at the checkout that's what I was looking for. I thought she couldn't leave the checkout counter because she pointed where they were so I went that way. I'd looked at their inventory online before I went to the store, so I knew they had options for me. After several minutes of looking at them behind the counter, I was ready to look more closely at 3 of them. I was at the area first, but a sales girl started helping another woman, who basically wanted to see many more bags than I wanted to. The sales girl never even looked my way or acknowledged my presence, although I was 10 feet away from them, just standing there looking at them. I then decided to walk around the store just to kill time until the other woman was finished. At no point did any of the sales people ask me if I needed help. I recently visited Keeks last Friday. Drove all the way from Ft. Worth to go check them out. I was ready to purchase a bag that day. However, from the moment I entered, it was a nightmare. I felt so discriminated. I was looked over as I browsed. When I asked for help with a bag, the girls working kept pawning me off on someone else. The store was not busy at all and there were plenty of girls working to help me out. I could not believe what was happening.
