For today's visit I just chose a 30 minute deep tissue massage. I was slightly disappointed as I was actually booked for an hour massage (I know, I shouldn't be complaining!) but it was more than I had planned to spend and therefore I was not prepared with a better tip for my massage therapist. I wish I was aware of that prior to going into the session. The receptionist was not very friendly and spoke softly so she was hard to understand. It may have been her first day because she was working with another person, but I feel that she could have verified what my appointment was so that I could have confirmed prior to me getting the hour massage and thereby having to pay for the full service. Nevertheless, I was still satisfied with my service. I had Linda as my massage therapist. Initially I was worried because I'm about 5'10" and she is about 5' and I was wondering if she would be able to use enough pressure but she did not disappoint!!! Lol she was awesome and I feel so great! I would recommend her for sure. Overall Kona Oasis is a beautiful spa and I would love to come back for more services. My masseuse made sure I was comfortable the entire time. He used a mix of hot stones, oils, chopping techniques, etc. There wasn't a single part of my body that didnt feel good afterwards. The 90 minute massage was $98 and I gave a 20% tip. My masseuse provided me with a bottle of water after the massage as well.
