Update on the pool... The pool looks beautiful. It is great, the best it has ever been in a very long time. John spent several days on the pool getting it to where it should be. Cleaning, brushing, balanced the chemicals. He conditioned the water, which appears was not being done with the previous pool company and should have been. There were a few issues with our filter he brought to our attention, like no filter media (catches the dirt from going back into the pool) and needing a new o-ring. He took care of it. John will be coming every week to maintain the pool. We are confident he will keep the pool in good shape. Which will make things easier for us and it will also keep the kids happy. John appears to be very knowledgeable, knows what he's doing. We are thankful we found him. Attached pictures of before and after John....It is BEAUTIFUL. read more

I'm fortunately The gentleman that had been taking care of my pool for the last 10 years had to retire due to back problems. As with any pool keeper, I wanted to wait awhile to write a review as they usually start slacking off a few months into using their service. Well, this isn't the case with John. We've been using John for about a year now and have yet to be disappointed. Our pool was a hot mess and he came in and cleaned it up, got the chemicals all in place and in no time had it up and running smoothly. He's totally into the science of it, not just there to sweep the pool and make a buck. He makes notes of your pool water so the next time he knows what's going on. He has great customer service and emails or calls back right away. So happy we found him. I definitely recommend giving his service a try, you'll end up keeping him for sure :) read more

John is a fantastic pool person! He is incredibly good at what he does: he is knowledgeable, reliable, and honest. We went through two pool guys before him that didn't show up some weeks, or were in and out of our yard in less than five minutes. Our pool turned completely green and I called Keep it Clean Pool Service in a panic. John came in, tested all the levels in the pool, and had it back to good in no time. He has been our go-to guy ever since then. He answers all our questions and never fails to answer our calls promptly. Our pool has never looked so blue! Pool owner since 2000 and have had three pool service guys who started out right, but simply could not keep it blue. In October, we remodeled our pool and our third service guy did not keep up the pool and it quickly turned green. Within a week, John turned our algae green pool to a beautiful blue. Be warned of John the pool guy! My husband and I recently purchased a home with a pool, our first pool! So we had no idea what to do regarding the pool, so we called John the pool guy from Keep it clean pool service. He came over and immediately told me that I needed to dump out half of the pool water and refill it back up, in order to get it good again. So as new pool owners we did as we were told from the "experienced" pool guy! After we dumped it out and refilled the pool looked good, (duh, it was clean water of course it would) well, we kept John to service the pool on a monthly basis ($90) a month for 2 months. He would come over every Friday and service it. Well we started his service on May 26th. Mind you we have NEVER touched our pool, only John has. Well, after 2 months of his, supposed, knowledgeable service our pool got algae and started turning for the worse. He had advised us to take our keeper krawler out to see if that's what was causing the "fogginess" in our pool, so we listened. A week went by and he shows up on Friday, takes one look at our pool and how HE let it turn into algae and said, "you will need to find someone else!" WHAT? You mean you turn our pool green and then tell me to find someone else to fix your mistake! Wow! The nerve of this guy. So he dumps in chlorine and takes off! I have 3 little kids that like to swim everyday. He could careless! He ruined our pool and walked away! What was I paying you $90 a month for then!!! I took off to the pool store and took them a sample of our water. They said, our water had nothing in it. No conditioner, no acid, & no chlorine (which the sun eats up if your water isn't balanced) I spent $60 on top of Johns payment to get my pool back to normal. They said that the person servicing our pool had no idea what they were doing. I agree 100%! John use to be a carpenter! So he has been doing "pool servicing" for ONLY a few years! He DOES NOT know what he is doing, he just sounds like he does cause he throws all these pool terms at you. Don't be fooled! Look somewhere else and make sure this isn't a quick money grabber type of job for them like it is John. Be warned of John the pool guy! UPDATE: So there is definitely something wrong with John. He not only harassed me via text last night and wouldn't stop till I told him I would call my lawyer. My email keeps going off saying that he keeps correcting his original post. There is definitely something wrong with this man and I am very happy to no longer have him around my children! I'm starting to wonder if he has harassed others to remove truthful and honest reviews but I will not be removing my review no matter how much you harass me, because it is the 100% THE TRUTH! I was having issues with understanding and grown concern for how my pool was functioning. Since purchasing my home in 2010 I wanted to know if my pool was up to the levels of the right ph balance and chlorine and other things in maintaining a pool. So I contacted John thru a quote and sure enough he got back to me quicker than I thought. He was available to meet right away and came over. When he arrived he immediately starting asking the right questions which to a degree I wasn't sure how to answer because I am the home owner and had little knowledge of what and how my pool was operating. He then diagnosed some issues right away and he resolved them right then and there. John was very courteous and knowledgeable on how to answer all my questions. He is by far one the most knowledgable guys I have come across in understanding info on pools and water quality and levels. I highly recommend John for future jobs. read more

After reading comment on Yelp, I decided to call Keep It Clean to clean my filter. The service was great. I totally agree with the comment written by Josh on 7/9/2015. John really is knowledgeable, reliable, and honest. He cleaned the filter professionally without messing up my backyard. The price is reasonable. The best pool service person I have ever had ! No B.S. I have had a pool in every home i have had for over 30 years but no one has the pool chemical back ground that John has, he made my green pool sparkle back to blue, no scaling on the tiles because my pool is balance the way it should be. My last pool person blamed me for what was happening to the water and said I added something to make it turn green and I should drain the pool and start over with new water, that was the last time he did my pool I hired keep it clean and he fixed the other guys problem, my water was out of wack!!!!! I was not happy so since then John has been doing our pool for over a year and it ALWAYS looks great!!!!!!! NO B.S. ask your pool service if they have the equipment/instruments to check the water when they come to clean ? Everyone I used in the past had no clue or the proper testing equipment to get my water right but they sure took my money. He's the best in the business for your pool needs!!!! NO B.S.
