The College Area Keg N Bottle location is our new favorite! We were in awe of the multi level floor to ceiling inventory. It was a lot to take in! Both Ben and Mike made a great impression. They were friendly, fun, and took the time to ask my husband's preferences. Then they showed us bottles that fit the bill. He was ecstatic with his three bottle purchase. I'm sure we will be back! Ordered 4 bottles of tequila for pickup at Glenview IL location. Stated 1-3 day pickup. When I called to inquire regarding pickup I was given multiple numbers to call. Finally got in touch with someone who stated the items were not in state and that I would have to pay $60 in shipping. I told them no thank you and that I wanted a refund. Fast forward to 3 days later and I call to inquire about my refund status to the California store. They tell me that they will give me shipping for $28, and that my order has not been canceled. I agree, and 5 minutes later receive an email with my canceled invoice. Now they will not answer my calls. Will never shop with them again. They are unprofessional, dishonest, and lack customer service. read more

Site shows stock but doesn't tell you it's not in their hands or needs to still "come in", possibly for months, while you wait for your entire order to be filled even if it's for only one outstanding item holding it up. Meanwhile they have, and are operating off, "all" your funds. And if you want the stock items sent to you while you wait for the outstanding one(s), that's an extra shipping cost for them to break it out. If they don't want to honor the shipping calculated and paid on the site during checkout, they just cancel your order due to "unforseen circumstances". Maybe they send you an invoice email with adjusted (lower) quantity and higher freight, especially if you use their frequently provided 10% discount, under the excuse that product needs to ship from various locations to fill your order or they have to pack it in multiple boxes for "adequate safety". And, the invoice locks in Shipping Protection for another fee whether you want it or not, and you can't deselect it. (You don't need it if you are paying with most credit cards - check with your particular CC provider) If they don't like your email responses back to them they simply go dark. Maybe their physical locations are better to deal with since there aren't additional fees and you walk out with what you pay for, but beware of price gouging, and there isn't any across-your-whole-purchase discount you can use like online. 15+ locations across the US and two restaurants is not really considered the "little family-owned business" that they repeatedly convey when whining about the small margin that gets eaten into when offering discounts and dealing with shipping costs. Newsflash: that "small" margin is typically 25-30%, as it is with many retailers, which is why they can afford to keep opening more locations! read more

Do be careful when ordering from them online. They could not deliver the quality in my original order. I agree to have them send me what they had. Yet, they billed my for the quantity on my original order. So the shipping cost was more that the cost of the one bottle I got. I did sent an email request ask why and got not response. read more

I placed an online order for The Dodgers 2025 Championship Marker's Mark Whiskey, back in early Nov (2025). When the order was shipped, I received the 2024 version (not what I ordered, and not what was advertised), so I reached out to rectify the issue (providing pictures of the wrongly shipped items). They got back to me pretty quickly, and asked me for the box dimensions (presumably for the return shipping label, indicated from our email exchange), which I sent, along with pics of the measurements. That was on NOV 10, 2025. After 4 days of ME following up, Jennell finally responded with my "options" (either keep their mistake at a discount, or return and refund.) on NOV 15. On NOV 17, I chose the return/refund option. No response. I reached out again on NOV 26 and DEC 2. I FINALLY get a response back on DEC 6 letting me know that the return label is being sent to me "TONIGHT." It is now DEC 30th, and I've STILL not heard back from them about replacing the wrongly shipped items they said they would replace. ***Just be cautious when doing business with them, as they have bait-and-switched me, and are refusing to make things right, despite an email exchange to the contrary.*** read more

Went in to get a bottle of TItos. They recommended me a different bottle of vodka and said it was just as good as Titos. I was getting Titos for homemade cocktails and was hoping that the recommendation would be at least close to what was told to me by the employee. I tried a shot and is was horrible bottom shelf vodka. I came back to return it and they did not care at all, wasn't even willing to give a discount. NEVER let them recommend anything, they just want to sell their bottles and don't care about their customers. Bevmo had a much better deal on the Titos that I wanted and had great customer service. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience with KegNBottle has been beyond frustrating. They lost not one, but TWO of my shipments. Not delayed. Not damaged. Lost. And instead of taking responsibility, I received multiple emails assuring me that the orders would be shipped "soon." Those shipments never happened. What makes this worse is the communication. I was repeatedly promised that everything was being handled and that replacement shipments were on the way. That turned out to be completely untrue. I had to keep following up myself, and every response felt like another generic promise with no actual action behind it. When a company makes mistakes, it happens. But losing two shipments and then sending misleading emails about shipping them? That's a serious problem. At this point, I've lost time, trust, and confidence in this business. I've ordered twice from Keg N Bottle and what great customer service! Stupid Shop Pay (and me) messed up the address due to auto-populate, and KnB helped me straighten it out. The reship fee was pretty minimal. Wanted to add that if you are ordering and need something shipped, the packaging is great. In the heart of College Avenue. This is just one of many locations throughout San Diego. Doesn't matter what location you visit though. One thing is clear. They are serious about their alcohol. There motto is "If we don't sell it. They don't make it.". When I went to get a keg for a party. The customer service was awesome. I got a good recommendation for a great pale ale and everything I needed at a great price~ ice, pump rental and a tub to put the keg in. Overall, a fast and easy experience. KegNBottle is not responsive. Ordered on 12Dec(Fri) with gift wrapping and standard shipping. Website states orders ship within 5-7business days. Around the 16th, get an email stating that they are particularly busy this holiday season and please let them know by what date the product is needed. I emailed back stating by the 25th. No response. Then on the 19th get an email stating that there is still time to order and receive in time for Christmas if select 2-day shipping, then another on the 20th. On the 21st (Sunday) receive notification that the shipping label has been created. On 26Dec received notification that the product has shipped. Received the product around the 6th of January, not gift wrapped. Emailed customer service at KegNBottle, no response. Do not recommend this company, I will not do business with them again. read more

They clearly just want to break the contract. 2 or 3 days ago, They said they would check on the shipment (which must take 3 min) and never said another word. Rude and undependable. Placed an online order on March 31, 2026. Received a notice that the item shipped almost immediately. I know this was merely them creating a FedEx shipping label. Allowed a few days and checked the tracking. FedEx indicated it will update when the item is received. April 2 I called Keg n Bottle and was told it was packaged and picked up and FedEx should have an update in a few hours. They didn't. They didn't the next day either. I called Keg n Bottle again. Well tried. My calls were obviously picked up and hung up. I called from a different number and was able to get through. I was told it was picked up and again, check in a few hours. Someone in the background spoke and said they have a new third party who picks up and the Oder goes to Los Angeles first. Im not in LA. I'm more close to San Diego. She went on to say it costs more for them to ship and this is happening all over. None of which is my problem. I asked for a 10 % discount on a future order for the inconvenience. I did an online order from Keg N Bottle for 5 750ml bourbon bottles. They had an employee text me asking if I'd do the Blantons at 700ml and the weller at 1L. I agreed to it so they'd finally ship this out as it was taking way longer than any other online liquor store and I was starting to think I was getting scammed. Eventually the package comes but just at 4 750ml bottles and the blantons at 700ml. I then emailed them asking them to make it right since they shorted me and they could absolutely care less. I would avoid them at all costs as their prices are ridiculously high anyways, they take forever to send you your bottles, and their customer service sucks. Order from Whiskey Caviar, Nestor Liquor, socal wine and spirits, wooden cork, liquor royal, etc. Just please order from anybody but these cheapos. read more

First and last time for me at that business. I took my 5# co2 tank to refill and they barely put any co2. No wonder the older gentleman was asking me if I was from around the area. Since I told him that I live all the way south I think he took advantage of that to not refill my tank. When I got home and hooked up the gauges I realized that it was under 500 psi.
