Unbelievable a total nightmare! Found them online and ordered a gift for my son who live in Colorado. I ordered it on 4/28/26 in the morning. Later that day I got an email confirming my order and that it would be delivered to my son in Colorado on Sunday 05/03/26. Because I payed extra for faster shipping & a Gift Note to be attached. Needless to say the package is not in Colorado, it's still in S.D. I know it's in S.D. because QLS (quality liquor store) send you to a thrid party shipping company to see were your package is. Guess what mine said today 05/04/26 "waiting for shipping label" and it is at the third party shipping company in San Diego. W.T.F. I was looking for a particular Bourbon that Quality liquor carries so I drove down to North Park, Although the older gentleman was nice, he told me that I have to order online and pay for the shipping. I guess they have a warehouse and do not carry everything in store. Got it. I'm local. It would be nice if they offered a pick up option, but I get it.. it's a business. It was my Wife's Birthday and she is a bourbon drinker. She tried Blanton's but it's next to impossible to find in my beloved Virginia unless you win the Virginia ABC Lottery. We always enter but we never win, especially for Pappy, Blanton's and those type of highly sought after spirits. I'm Leary about doing business on the internet. I found myself out in San Diego for some continuing education classes and I went into Quality Liquor Store. They have a great selection and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I asked them about Blanton's and they said they had some in stock but it was at the warehouse. They told me to order online and have it shipped to my house. I took a chance and placed my order online. The customer service was incredible, the kept me posted every step of the way. When my order arrived I was surprised to see the care taken by the packaging. They wrapped it in this plastic air sleeves and it was very secure. I could have thrown it off of a building rooftop and nothing would have happened to it. I'm very pleased with my purchase and my Wife is over the Moon with her Birthday gifts. I will be doing business with these folks again and I highly recommend you do the same, if you're looking for something that is hard to get. BUYERS BEWARE!!! I don't usually write reviews unless my experience was either really bad or really good. My experience has been very bad with this place. I was searching online for a bottle of Hennessy Pure White and found www.qualityliquorstore.com. On their website, it showed that they had the item in stock or it was purchasable. Anyways, add to cart, checked out, and received a confirmation email. Well, 2 weeks passed and no email on status of my order. Therefore, I called their number, and they did not pick up, so I had left a detailed voicemail requesting for refund at this point. Still no callback. Then I emailed them the issue and it's been over a week. Still no response. Now the issue escalated to other means so we'll see what happens. I would steer clear from ordering online from this place. Not sure how they are with customer service in retail. I should have checked their Yelp comments first before I had made the purchase. Lesson learned. You've been warned. So I just started frequenting this smallish liquor store, specifically searching for an illusive whiskey varietal. Don't let the relatively small size deter you. Quality liquor was the only store I could find that carried the deliciously spicy Ole Smoky Tennessee Mango Habenero whiskey. The awesome thing about this liquor store is that although the whiskey is priced at $26.99, the store was willing to match their online ordering price of $22.99. Sweet! In addition, since they didn't stock the Ole Smoky Tennessee Salty Watermelon whiskey, they were willing to order it for me without making me pre-pay. Ordered two bottles of Scotch. I received one after two weeks. I found it on my doorstep. They claim signature is required. Not in my case. Minimal tracking updates provided. They do send emails, with links that won't open. I wrote them back about the fact that I can't open the tracking link. No response. Unable to reach them by telephone. Not responsive to my concerns. The second bottle was ordered for a friend who is retired and always home. I was charged for it, and it apparently was not shipped as there is now no record of it in my account. I am still unable to reach them by telephone. I had to cut and paste the order number from my initial order email because there is no record of the order in my account. My conclusion. This company is run by incompetent alcoholics or else maybe two stoned teenagers. Finally, I left a 1 star review on their website. It was not posted. They have all 5 star reviews because they don't post anything less. I ordered from them based on their high ratings. It was all a lie. UPDATE: I reached someone. They use some lame shipping company called GLS. While none of the tracking links work, you can go to their website and in my case they were unable to locate the address. I told them to Google it. They could not tell me where the package was at present. This GPS shipping company it totally inept. They are sufficient reason to not buy from this vendor. It is pretty simple. People want to make a purchase, know when it will be delivered. ANd be able to follow it's progress on tracking, if it is an important package. Finally, they don't want it to take 2-3 weeks to be delivered. read more

Poor first purchase experience. the website had the pictured item -- Pomp & Whimsy Gin Liqueur - however what arrived was Pomp & Whimsy Gin (regular). I emailed sales@vistawinespirits.com and got a response from Ameen Bouzganda offering me a 10% refund and to keep the order. I declined saying I wanted what I originally ordered. Ameen replied that what I received is the only item from Pomp & Whimsy they carry. Question: why offer Pomp & Whimsy Gin Liqueur if you do not carry it? Very Poor service, and I will not purchase from "Quality Liquor Store" again and will put my review on all places where it can reach a wide audience so no one has to go through this again. I'd give a zero star rating, but that was not an option. Update: received a call from Vin owner of Quality Liquor --real nice guy. He wanted to make this right. he and I collaborated on what can be done to replace what was sent, vs what I ordered. He is in progress with a third party to fulfill orders, and there are still bugs to work out on the communications. I get that. He looked in the warehouse, and they did have what I ordered in stock. I ordered a bottle online if Clase Azul tequila . I paid with my Apple account . I had it shipped today to my house in Oregon . When the bottle didn't show up for 3 weeks I called . This man said that they attempted to deliver my bottle 2 times and I wasn't home to show ID . I said nobody has attempted I have a ring doorbell and I can see if I missed any one . The UPS never left a note either . I asked for a tracking number he said that he would call me back with it the number and never did . Then I disputed the changes with my credit card company. They sent a fake deliver in California to a city I have never been at . Nor do I know anyone there . This dispute has been ongoing not for 2 months . Buyer beware! I saw that the store had a specific brand that I like and have been having a problem finding. When I got to the store, the person working didn't know they carried it. We had to point him in the right direction. Then the price I was charged in the store was $5 more than the price on the website. Every time I go into this store FOX news is always on the TV. Hello. I ordered a bottle of scotch online from these folks and used a credit card which I rarely use to pay for it. Several days later a small package from Walmart was delivered to our house. I never shop at Walmart, nor did I use my card after I made the Scotch purchase. I returned the package to Walmart, and a credit was put back on my card. However, I realized that in order to have that Walmart package delivered, I had provided my home delivery address to Quality Liquor Store for delivery of the scotch. Clearly this is fraud. I called the credit card company immediately and was told that there were additional charges at Walmart on my account and that the fraudster was attempting to access online payment services like Paypal using my card. I do no use those services either. My card was canceled, and I have filed a police report with the San Diego police who called me and wanted additional information. Further, email questions which I sent were answered by another company, often days after I had sent the initial email. Bottom line: DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE. I am providing one star as a rating because I am not able to submit this review without a start. No stars are merited whatsoever. read more

We just moved to California and I'll be darned if I haven't tried to find my Kenny Chesney's Blue Chair Coconut Rum at every establishment that sells liquor in a 25 mile radius from our home. I almost gave up and had some friends from back home try to mail me some but I decided to give it one last go. I went to Blue Chair's site and Quality Liquor came up on their store as a location carrying the brand I wanted. The specific flavor I wanted wasn't listed, but they had several that were so I thought, "what the heck, I'll call them to ask!" Nick answered the phone told me they did carry Blue Chair and that he would check to see if they had my coveted Coconut Rum. They did! He asked how many bottles I wanted and I asked how many he had! He set 2 aside for me and when I came in to buy them the guy at the front was super friendly and polite and called Nick out. I bought the 2 bottles and almost bought a third of another flavor except it had an ingredient in it I can't have (but it looked soo good, so if you can eat dairy I recommend the Key Lime flavor!!). I promised these guys that when I run out of the coconut flavor I WILL be back to get more and I'd only buy from them and I meant it. Great customer service and great attitudes! read more

Absolutely huge selection and very reasonable prices. I was expecting a convenience store markup, but the wines were priced the same as going to a BevMo or supermarket. Very impressive liquor selection behind the counter, including infused vodkas and some rare items you don't usually see at bigger establishments. This store is also in a very convenient location, right next to a residential area, so you can get in and out of there very quickly without much commercial traffic. Makes a great stop if you forgot to pick something up for a friend's party in the area. read more

Wow..the stupidity. In response to Vinny: first off, I was present the entire time in the store, somewhere you obviously weren't because you a speaking of a situation that did not happen. There was no credit card, or ask of using credit for purchase. The ID was checked due to us purchasing alcohol...at your liquor store. Once the cashier checked the name on the ID AND DEBIT CARD, he proceeded to tell my friend she did not LOOK like the name on both identification cards belonging to her. He then told her she looked more like a "Sharese" as he asked her again if the cards were hers. As a black women it is extremely disrespectful and racist for someone to insinuate that we are lying about a name, and then it makes it even worst to be suggested a name you think better suits me. So, dear Vinny, As we are approaching 2020, it is extremely condescending and rude for you to try and deny our experience as Black women to better your business. This should be a time for growth for you and your company but instead you chose to reply with a lie.....Insulting... I'm also not sure when San Diego released it's Liquor store list presenting you as the "least racist store" but I'd love a copy to repute. What makes it even worst is that both my friend and I have returned to the store after the incident and spoke with staff about my issue. I have had respectful interactions with everyone, including the man who made the remark. Your response was just the straw that broke the camels back. This was such a good find for me. I was looking for a few specific beers and wines and was able to find them here. The staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly, and patient.
