You go from field to field with a ref who take pictures of your event. The 2 hour block does not start until your first game begins. We typically get 7 - 8 games in during the 2 hours. It's great exercise and we've had people from age 5 to 40 out on the field playing. The obstacles are amazing, courses are great, and the lasers so powerful you can play in day light or in the rain. Every time we go, the kids cannot wait to go back. Friendly staff, great people. I cannot wait until we go again.

Range balls not included with green fee so that adds $5 to your day but still great deal.

I was in town to play golf with my HS buddies from LHS. One…read moreof the guys recommended we play here because it's a Donald Ross design and affordable. I was disappointed in the overall conditions of the course. The greens were bare in places, there were patches of grass that were replanted and the overall condition of the greens appeared as they were not well maintained. The Fairways are wide open and along the sides you have many large live oak tress and palm trees were you can get in trouble. I liked that they had newer carts with the GPS feature and they all seemed to be in good condition. The club house and Staff were all real nice and professional. They have a Senior rate of $35 bucks for 18 holes and riding which is very competitive. The Restaurant/Bar called Mulligan's was real nice too. A little disappointing that they had NO pre-cooked hot dogs when we made the turn. We had to wait about 10 minutes which slowed the pace of play. I found he course challenging, especially the greens. In true Donald Ross fashion, the majority of the green are what you would call 'turtle back'. That meaning there are not many flat spaces from which to putt. You would have to land your approach shot 'perfectly' on the green to putt or else your ball will roll off. We all agreed the back nine was in better condition than the front.

Early settlers held picnics and games on the grounds. There is an obelisk in the playground in the park dedicating it in honor of August Heckscher as "A token of his love for the children of this community" 1926. Today Crystal Lake Park is still a gathering place for the community. The city-owned park contains recreational facilities and space for picnic and barbecues. Park amenities include grills, picnic pavilion with tables, restroom, sand volleyball court, and he fenced in playground. I love all of the oak trees providing shade and dripping in Spanish moss. The children of Lake Wales have been enjoying this charming play space for generations.
