Place is now called "Maple Lanes", so was confused for a second. It's been about 10 years since I've bowled and some coworkers suggested it, so off we went. The price of open bowling is insane nowadays, but so is everything else so it's understandable. Either way, we had a great time. Thankfully this alley doesn't have the string pins. I've heard bowling alleys are converting to that sort of system and wondered if this place had. Thankfully, you can still scatter pins! We have been bowling here for a year and a half, so, they are familiar with us. Tonight, we were bowling and they put a bunch of guys right next to us when there were plenty of open lanes. We had to keep waiting to take our turn as these guys had no bowling etiquette. We could have got another game in, but, we got slowed down so much. They didn't close for another hour, so, they could have spaced the lanes out!! read more

Two reviews in one Just started playing in a morning seniors league here today. Huge dry of leaves, and the technology on the lanes was top notch. Ran flawlessly. Secondly, returned in the afternoon after the proshop opened to talk about my ball and was able to get a smaller thumb plug while I waited (15 minutes tops) and for a very fair price. Lots of construction going on - only noticeable through the entrance. Not even noticed once we started bowling. Counter staff was pleasant and efficient. Clean bathroom as well, though only one toilet. read more

This place SUCKS!!! They make you pay $17 dollars when you get there and the lanes don't even work! Me and my friends sat there for at least 40 minutes wasting our time and money. We should've gotten a freee bowl but NOOOOOO these MF are rude and didn't even say sorry for the inconvenience. I don't recommend this place, it's a SHIT SHOW! read more

This was a blast! Our toddler had a great time and we jumped in on the fun too. The food is delicious and the staff is exceptionally friendly. This place is a hidden gem. I downloaded the OpenLane app too and we will definitely be keeping it. I even got my scored emailed to me when we finished. We will be back! read more

This is a great family location we had so much fun. If you buy the hour it is a lot cheaper than buying per game which you have to pay per person for. I do recommend you bring in the family and bowl to your hearts content because this is a wonderful Aldi everyone having a great time and loving being all together. Wonderful bowling center with warm friendly staff with the center undergoing major renovations. Expanded game room with up-to-date games to test your skills. Many bowling specials. Lounge/Restaurant, Oyster bar and outdoor Tiki bar very warm, friendly and inviting. Eclectic and inviting food menu with an interesting take on the reuben sandwich. Wide assortment of food items offered on the menu and the food that I ordered was outstanding. Great cooks/kitchen staff. Was taken on a tour by the owner (John LaSpina) to observe first hand the many updates with more to come. During the tour the owner interacted 2ith this many customers seemingly everyone by name. Bowling center sits on a gorgeous and very inviting property. The bowling center is very fortunate to have an outstanding pro shop headed up by long time PBA pro and bowling legend Amleto Monacelli offering lessons to the bowlers. They have committed to upgrade the facility and have made great progress in the last year or two , still pushing forward every day to make Maple Lanes an amazing venue! I thought this bowling alley was under new ownership and revamped, it's just as dirty and run down as it was years ago, the bowling equipment didn't work half the time, the gentleman helping us was very nice and accommodating as he could be.it was super crowded with family's AND drunk adults. This place USED to be a great venue for family fun and had great people at the helm. This no longer is the case. The center was taken over by new management and immediately the prices went through the roof, and the fun atmosphere vanished. Today we decided (against better judgment) to give it another try, even though we had sworn not to return after the last visit. Apparently there was a tournament in progress, and the place was very busy. We stepped to the counter and stood without exaggerating, at least 5 minutes, while two young men ignored our presence, as they fed information into a computer. Never once acknowledged us, or said we'll be with you in a minute or any words at all. I began to think I was invisible. We decided to leave and still no reaction at all. Do yourself a favor, if it's bowling you want, go to the lanes on south Florida or even winter haven is worth the trip. This place is pathetic. read more

My son who has autism went there to bowl with the community in which he lives. He had some difficulties, but Beverly and Lewis were there to help him out, and his day was a success. Family friendly, kinda dirty. Lanes kept messing up on us and giving the wrong scores. Shoes are old, but pretty comfy compared to some I've been to. Decent food prices and bowling prices over all. read more

In dire need of an update in all aspects. My friends and I were able to have fun as a group and enjoyed Lucky's, but the tables, computers, and tv monitors are out of date and barely able to display the full images. What was most disappointing was the state of the bathrooms. It was around 11 when I visited the gross facilities and there was a clogged toilet full of poop with a plunger just laid next to it. The rest of the room wasn't any better. I want to have some kind of positivity for this establishment, but frankly it was pretty poopy. Also, they don't even do the black lights anymore??? read more

I would rate this bowling alley at the bottom of any lanes I have bowled at. The pinsetters are old and unreliable, pins fall out of the racks. The racks jam several times. The scoring machines are so outdated they even use a padded broom handle to wack the screens when they turn green and you can't read them. Bowler entry screens are horrible to deal with. The lane approaches are almost always sticky somewhere and bowler slide is totally not there. The bathrooms are in dire need of update and repair. Most of the workers there are very nice considering what they have toput up with although senior management gives you the "I really don't care" attitude, when you can find them. Bowled there for 2 years hoping for the better, but never happens. read more

Seriously don't know how bowling leagues bowl here. The lanes barely ever reset on their own. The scores are always. When someone next to you fowls, it ends up on your screen for some reason. I've been here quite a few times and every time a problem is brought up employees seldom do anything to fix it. Beside all of the mechanical issues, it's not a horrible place to bowl. Not as up to date and a little darker than other bowling mates I've been at. The bathrooms could use some remolding but it's a bowling ally. I've not seen anything dirty for say. The bowling alley has nice lanes and is updated but the experience was horrible with people there hanging out drinking on floor spilling beer not waiting for others to finish before rushing up at same time next to us and making out which they could do elsewhere. Management didn't seem to exist and not enough workers as people that had food and drinks just left it all over and no one cleaned nothing up at all. We actually ended up with a partial refund and left to go to the Amf lanes on the south side of Lakeland and it was awesome with no issues or problems what so ever as management was there and doing a fantastic job will travel to south side first from now on or until orange bowl is under new management or has more control over the crap going on there but maybe they are more worried about their bar than their bowling patrons! read more
