I told them to do the rear brakes and 108k service while I was in, but I wanted a quote on the TPMS repair. Faulkner quoted me almost $1,150 to replace the four sensors. $178 per tire in labor, even though the car was up on the lift, and the tires were off. I looked at their estimate and they were charging double charging for labor on things that were already being performed with other service at the time. I saved $800 by taking the car elsewhere for the same repair. I understand the dealership may use different parts, but $178 in labor per tire is theft. Two weeks earlier I called in for pricing and parts never called me back. When I called to speak to the parts manager, he was rude and apathetic. I reported this to the general manager. Had I gotten the initial quote I asked for, I wouldn't have wasted my time driving 50 minutes to Harrisburg. Faulkner Subaru has lost my business. I will not do business with anyone who makes me feel like I was ripped off.

After researching I found that a Mazda3 would be my best option. With terrible credit at the time I was pretty short on financing options, but I decided to give Manheim Car King a try. I test drove a blue mazda3 and when home to deliberate. When I came back the dealer convinced me it was this grey one i was driving, I swear it wasnt. But after much questioning and some cocky guy in the office figuring out my financing and up selling me the shittiest warranty ever, I dropped $2000 on a down payment and drove off the lot. ONE week later, I heard a knocking. It got louder and louder, I took it to a mechanic and when I told them I just bought the car they told me to turn right around and go back - the engine is shot. Honestly, if I knew a little more about cars I wouldn't have bought a Mazda3 with a hitch on the back installed as this is not a towing car, but I digress. I took it back and they refused to help me. Refused to trade in or return. After screaming in showroom and telling them I would smear their name all over the internet they said I was "one tough cookie" and decided to pay for half my repair. Still cost me little over $800. 3 years later I have replaced the normal wear and tare, on top of a new TRANSMISSION, ENGINE, CLUTCH, STARTER, and the A/C doesn't work anymore. To name only the main things. I thought I was getting a great deal at $6000 - but with interest and repairs I have spent more then I would care to admit on this piece of shit and refuse to do anymore. I am now looking for a new car - and my advice to all of you is to not only research the cars you want, but the place you are getting it from. DO NOT go to a place that gets their cars from auctions if you can afford. Its a crap shoot and I'm terrible at gambling. The only thing this place did for me was get me a high interest rate loan that then repaired my credit a bit so I can now trade this hunk in. I still owe on the loan - but its so bad I'd rather cut my losses and be done with it.

They have two lots, and when I was interested in a car at the Manheim location, they brought it up to Harrisburg for me to test drive the next day. I drove off the lot in a beautiful low mileage used Audi. Everyone I dealt with at the dealership treated me with respect and I felt they were honest and truly helpful- sort of the opposite of the stereotype of used car salesman. They earned my loyalty and my praise, so I wanted to recommend them to others. These are good guys who really want to put you in the right car for a decent price.

When i called them out on it, she denied it. Judging by the long list of reviews, i was right. Don't go there. They have one objective and that to take your money. They said I needed an oil change. My oil was changed two weeks ago. That let me know they didn't check it, because if they did, they would've know. They also told me I needed tires, I bought them 1.5yrs ago. They said I needed wiper blades, they were replaced over the summer when my windshield was replaced. I paid a $100 diagnostic fee, even though this was covered under my MaxCare. I confirmed this with my rep, that they didn't bother contacting. When I got there to get my car, Kira tried to gaslight me into thinking they weren't trying to financially violate me. She told me they didn't know about the oil change because my sticker wasn't changed. They would've if they did their job and actually checked. They were looking for things to charge me for. If you there, be prepared and know your car before doing so. Otherwise, you'll regret it.

Yes, I'm paying a bit more for the vehicle and yes I have a high interest rate but these things I was expecting. Much better having these issues with a dealer that reports to the 3 credit bureaus and not a buy here pay here, which I thought was my only option.
