The lady at the front desk in this run down office , Bev (or Bess), is very rude, and I believe she played a part in why this business has gone downhill. What really shock me the staff believes she knows everything and never get this issue resolve showing they don't care about customers but making money. She treats customers as though there are no other dental offices in the area. That's her attitude. I can see why staff members and patients have left this dental office . Because of the way this business treated people because of greed, in my opinion, it has damaged its own reputation. It will continue to go downhill until it eventually closes if nothing changes. Very calm and comforting, with a sense of humor and a gentle spirit. She has taking my BP several times just to help me get an average reading. Amie has been EXTREMELY patient with me as I question the bill and in trying to understand the charges. I cannot even find more complementing words to describe Ms. Laura! She works closely with Dr. Patrick and is so incredibly friendly, unmistakably professional and very understanding, gentle with patients, accommodating and conversational! They work with you to submit your Insurance forms...although they don't specifically accept dental coverage plans. This allows them to upgrade equipment to keep up with advances in technology. Better for all of us patients!!! They take time to educate you on proper dental care, suggesting electric tooth-brushes for better tooth/gum care. I did not have dental care for 12 years....YES...you read that correct. I used my Philips SoniCare & Eco-Dent tooth powder ALL those years! Then I made an appointment, even a couple of the staff STILL remembered me!!!! I was VERY surprised that my teeth & gums were not in bad shape after that much time away with ANY cleanings & after YEARS of eating cakes, cookies, drinking sodas, juices, etc. I had a "small cavity " just starting to form on ONE tooth! Dr. Ousborne doesn't try to upsell you or add more "needed services" to your bill. He patiently informs you of what IS needed & lets you decide how to proceed. If you have the old-fashioned 'silver-colored' mercury fillings in your teeth & you are over 40 yrs old, go to Dr Ousborne to have him remove them!!. They are going to charge a cancellation fee because we did not inform them 48 hours in advance. I was pissed. Our daughter was sick and how am I supposed to know that we were going to end up at the hospital. I was yelling at them because this was not right. They had charged us every cancellation fee since February because our daughter got sick. Most doctor offices have a 24 hour cancellation policy not 48 hours. One pissed off costumer. I would not recommend this dentist office to anyone.

I don't usually leave reviews, but I can't express enough gratitude for Dr. Andersen!…read more For nearly three weeks, I had severe pain in one of my back teeth along with what appeared to be a "lesion" on the inside of my gum. I saw two other dentists and was told that my tooth was fractured and needed to be extracted. I came to this office during their annual free extraction event expecting to lose the tooth. Dr. Andersen took the time to thoroughly evaluate the situation and wasn't convinced that extraction was the right answer. She determined that the "lesion" was actually a piece of bone protruding through the gum and removed it. Almost immediately, the pain that had been bothering me for weeks was gone. I am incredibly grateful not only because she found the real problem, but because she saved my tooth. Her knowledge, patience, and willingness to look deeper instead of rushing to remove the tooth made all the difference. Thank you, Dr. Andersen, for your exceptional care. I had a couple of teeth on both sides that had root canals and had been crowned almost 20-years…read moreago, that were failing and all four needed to be pulled. The choice was a bridge on both sides, which I wasn't crazy about on my rear molars, or to venture into world of implants. My dentist didn't offer them and recommended me to a specialist, Dr Mandel. Upon my first visit, Dr Mandel took x-rays, did an examination, and offered a game plan to attack it one side at a time. The one-side needed bone grafts, and he suggested tackling that first, and then onto the other side. However, this doubled the time frame before new crowns could be installed to six-months on that side. We discussed the process, and he thoroughly walked me through the entire procedure, answering my questions, and offering a consultative approach to making sure I was comfortable and had realistic expectations. While I was very nervous about what was involved and how long it would take, the decision was made to have it done right and to move forward with the procedure. Well, almost one year later and now having the new crowns installed, and I can say without a doubt it was a great decision. They look great, feel great, and certainly beat a bridge or dentures. While it was indeed a process, Dr Mandel was a total pro throughout the entire ordeal. He was extremely meticulous in every aspect of the journey, from the first examination, to being unbelievably good at everything around implants. In fact, it went so well, I decided to finally have a cosmetic dental makeover on my entire upper teeth. I ask Dr Mandel for a recommendation, and he sent me to another very professional and talented dentist. When all the 20-year crowns were removed on my top teeth, it became necessary to have two more teeth extracted, and once again it was determined by my dentist that two of my top teeth were gone and it was either a bridge or a couple more implants, so back to Dr Mandel. The difference is this time I had total confidence in Dr Mandel, and as before it went incredibly smooth. In a matter of a couple of hours, he performed two very difficult extractions, and like a mad scientist, placed the two implants. In the meantime, I have a temp on my entire upper teeth and will wait out the next 3-4 months before having the crowns installed so it's all done at the same time and I can get the best match. For anyone who may be scared or nervous about considering having implants vs dentures, bridges, or simply missing a tooth, it's not nearly as scary as it sounds. The key is to see a real pro like Dr Mandel. This dentist is incredible, and his mannerisms and skill make it clear he is truly a maestro at what he does. He instilled confidence every step of the way, performed extremely difficult procedures, and the outcome has become wonderful. In addition to these very important aspects, he was also one heck of a nice guy that literally couldn't have made it more pleasant through it all. I'm very appreciative that I found him to go through this process, and that it actually gave me the motivation and desire to tackle a full dental makeover. I can honestly say I don't think I would have jumped all in without Dr Mandel's encouragement, guidance, and reassurances along the way.
