Our floor refinishing experience with Keith and his team was wonderful. I had purchased a home built in the 40s with hardwood floors that were so bad it stuck to our feet during the pre-purchase viewing but Keith worked wonders and now the floors are among the homes greatest features. There had even been a big hole in part of the living area where there must have been a heater or something at one point in time and Keith's team was able to patch it so we'll that you wouldn't notice where it ever was today. We've used Keith Clay Floors since 2006. We have approximately 1800 SF of travertine, and they have come out and buffed and filled any holes we have. They do an exceptional and professional job. I am a general contractor and hired this company after the owner did paver floor stain samples for the homeowners and I. We agreed on a price for Mr. Clay to strip and darken up existing bricks we had in the living room. He was then to stain new brick pavers that were already installed in four other rooms adjacent to living room. The samples he did for us is not the color we ended up with once he claimed work was complete. Also the sealer he applied on living room pavers had a very smooth finish, the sealer he applied on pavers in four other room felt like a very course sand paper and literally hurt your bare feet to walk on it. My homeowners are very upset and not satisfied with his work! All reviews I had read were good about this company. I am now having to hire another page finish company to come in and sand off all materials that were applied to the four rooms. Beware, this company does not do professional finishers nor stain matches as it advertises. Please look at the photos and decide for yourself! read more

Keith is fantastic! Our Satillo tile floors were in terrible shape with a dark brown crackle coating from years of abuse/neglect. When chemicals failed to strip the floors, Keith painstakingly hand-scraped each tile. This was no small feat. Then he carefully cleaned the floors and applied 2 coats of urethane over a 2 day period. My floor is absolutely beautiful now. It looks like the photo I gave Keith of the floor I wanted before the project began. He is a miracle-worker. I would trust any flooring restoration to Keith Clay. He is knowledgeable, hardworking, reasonably priced, and honest. Thank God for Keith Clay! read more

We recently had Keith Clay Floors strip, stain and reseal the Saltillo tile and the Brazilian cherry wood floors in our house. They also honed and polished the marble in the kitchen. We couldn't be happier!!!!! The Saltillo tile started out the typical orange color, and is now a warm rusty brown! The Brazilian cherry was very shiny and red... much too formal for my taste. Keith and Larry stripped all the prefactory finish, raised the grain, stained it a warm brown and sealed it with a satin finish! These floors are BEAUTIFUL!!!! The marble was dull and just tired, after ten years of kitchen traffic... now, thanks to Larry's expertise, they are so smooth and shiny!!!! Not only did they do a beautiful job, but Keith was very easy to communicate with, professional, and honest! Larry is truly a master at what he does, and was a pleasure to have in my home!!!! Keith has done the wood floors at two of my properties. The first was a refinish, sanding, hand scrapping, staining and sealing. The second was a water damage claim where a lot of the wood flooring had to be removed and replaced, and then the whole main floor sanded, hand scraped, stained, and sealed. In both cases Keith's crews were very professional and hard working. They were interested in making sure I was happy with the job and best of all finished on time.
