I recently went to a consultation with Dr. Tamara Fountain to see what she could do about my under eye bags. She told me all i needed was a good med spa and, while she didn't know her personally, she was impressed with Dr. Amy Taub's work. I looked up Dr. Taub and was excited to see she was right in my backyard at Advanced Dermatology. I called to make an appointment and they told me she wasn't seeing new patients for at least the next year. Never deterred I called their other location in Lincolnshire and they fit me in for a consultation later that month. During the consultation I met with Dr. Taub's lovely and very informative assistant and then Dr. Taub herself. They gave a recommendation for filler (which I've always been afraid of, but figured worth a shot) and scheduled me in the Glencoe office for a few weeks later. Apparently she is only in Glencoe on Thursdays, which is why it can be tough to get an appointment there. Appointment day arrived. I was a little scared of the pain, but figured it couldn't be worse than childbirth. Thanks to Dr. Taub and her amazing staff it didn't hurt at all. They also blow cold air on your face during the process, which felt really good after being outside on a very hot day. I left a little sore with very minimal bruising...and could already notice a big difference within 5 minutes. Dr. Taub didn't use all the filler i had purchased because didn't think i needed it and said the under eye area is very sensitive, but scheduled me for a quick follow up next month to see if i needed more. It was a very quick, painless and successful appointment. I was so impressed with Dr. Taub and the entire staff that I plan to go there for other cosmetic dermatology needs in the future.

I left it because other openings closer to me weren't until 2025. In my spare time I consulted Dr Google so I somewhat already knew what was going on. I met with the nurse practitioner and my visit was concluded in under 5 minutes. This after taking time off from work, a 45-50 minute drive, and filling out forms prior to the appointment and downloading the patient app. Could this not have been conducted via telehealth or could I have been squeezed in for a 15 minute appointment closer to my home? The NP confirmed my and Dr Google's diagnosis and the issue should be resolved soon. I just would have preferred that this could have been less inconvenient for all involved.

His office staff has since grown from 2 in his Arlington Heights office to quite a few and they were always overwhelmed by the numbers of patients. Did see a huge change in the staff with my visit this week and I think the new computer system that has since been adopted is playing a huge role in this improvement. I've since moved to Plainfield, over 30 miles away and would not even consider going to any other dermatologist. And while I still see Dr Glazer senior, everyone that sees Dr Alex just raves about him as well. I do my yearly screening and this year my moles on my back did have some changes that my primary pointed out as a concern. His reassuring demeanor immediately puts you at ease and he always takes great care. His assistant, Alexis, was also very gentle taking her time numbing all the locations he was going to remove. Love the fact that he compounds his own retin a lotion and Clobetasol ointment.

After being a loyal patient of Glazer Dermatology for more than 20 years, I am beyond disappointed…read moreby the way their Med Spa handled my daughter's laser hair removal package and the complete lack of professionalism we experienced. When my daughter purchased her package, we were clearly told that after completing the included sessions, touch-up treatments would be available for $25 per body part. That promise was a major factor in choosing this practice. Now, without any notice whatsoever, they have eliminated that agreement and are charging full price -- which would amount to nearly $800 for the same touch-up appointment. When I called to speak with Lee, the Med Spa manager, I was shocked by how rude, dismissive, and unapologetic she was. I asked why patients were never notified of such a major policy change, especially since the office constantly sends promotional emails and text messages. Her response was that they "don't have the ability" to notify patients -- which is simply unbelievable for a modern medical practice that communicates with patients weekly. What was even more upsetting was her attitude. When I asked how they could make such a drastic change without warning loyal customers or at least offer one final touch-up appointment under the original agreement, her exact response was: "We can and we did." That level of arrogance and disregard for long-time patients is unacceptable. I then respectfully asked if one of the physicians, including Dr. Glazer, Dr. Kozeny or Dr. Fretzen, could return my call. Lee refused, stating they would "absolutely not" call me back and would not even allow me to leave a message. This experience has completely changed my opinion of this practice. Loyal patients who have trusted this office for decades deserve honesty, communication, and respect -- not bait-and-switch pricing and rude treatment. I would strongly caution anyone considering cosmetic packages here to get everything in writing and be aware that policies can apparently change overnight with no notice and no accountability.

The secretaries and technicians here were all very nice, especially my laser hair removal tech, Taylor. She was great, so informative, and made me feel super comfortable. The reason I'm giving 3 stars is because of my results and the price I paid. I had laser hair removal done here for 2 small-ish regions on my body. First of all, the first lady I had for my first 2 or 3 sessions, I think the machine was on low because it was not painful at all. Fast forward to my 4th session with Taylor, and it hurt like a b!***! (which is normal and expected). It was just a huge jump. Then I found out the lady who I had for my first 2 or 3 sessions was no longer with the company. This might have had something to do with my results (maybe she wasn't doing it right? It didn't hurt at all). My results are not that great. I still grow a lot of hair in the regions I got lasered even after 6 sessions. I know it's never a guarantee, but they promised around 70-80% removal and I wanna say it's at like 40-50%. I currently go to a new place that I left 2 reviews for already, and I already see a difference after 2 sessions, more than what I saw when I was at AH Laser. It's not really worth it here for the price when it comes to laser hair removal. I don't know what lasers they use, but that might have something to do with it, as well. I recommend trying another place out first.

I'm in the middle of the road lucky-lane. I don't look my age (shhh... a woman never tells and a person should never ask), but time has passed and my face kinda shows it. First, I'll admit - I have been stalking the beautiful pictures of touched up faces on Instagram and did my due diligence research, even came here to read reviews from my fellow Yelpers. AH Laser Aesthetics kept popping up ... in a good way! The before and after pictures are real, not touched up or photoshopped. That was a bonus! The jackpot was seeing their Pre-Black Friday Week sale & I couldn't say no to a reasonable price for Botox. It was after midnight and so I wouldn't chicken out, I sent a text message stating I was interested in the special. I got a reply right away AND through some nice back & forth texting, an appointment! Walking in the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, I immediately felt it was cozy place and the staff was super friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable! I had my consultation with Andriana, an RN, and she listened to my concerns carefully. She was attentive, didn't push any services, clarified what my expectations were, and was very upfront about what I could expect. I'm a sweat-sweater - like pouring buckets sometimes out of nowhere, probably pre-menopausal (Crap! Gave away my age? ... maybe or maybe not), but I mentioned it to Andriana. She gave me an honest answer. If it's something that's consistent and worrisome, a specialist would be best to help with it. There's no guarantee that the injections of Botox at the office would cut down on it or stop it. Fair enough! I was tired of the forehead bacon, the weird wrinkles, and the tired looking brows. I went for it! Andriana talked me through every step, told me what she was doing, and it was all very before I knew it. She followed up with what I would see within the next 7 days and what to do/not to do following the treatment for the next few hours. I was a happy camper! I also noticed they do B12 shots and I'm always deficient in it, like bad deficient, so at a reasonable cost, I added that to my services. I walked out of AH Laser Aesthetics feeling good, proud to have gone XX number of years without Botox, and so happy I found the perfect place to get my first treatment! Dr. Nisha Patel is so friendly, open, knowledgeable, and has just a great aura of positive energy. Andriana is exactly the same - just as friendly, caring, knowledgeable, and positive! I'm so thrilled to have found my new happy beauty place and I can't wait to try other beauty treatments to keep this face (and body) looking youthful! I recommend AH Laser Aesthetics to anyone looking to take that first step or anyone looking for a group who cares! Dr. Patel and Andriana have gained a new, lifelong patient/client/friend!
