Today was my second time visiting this Keke's location as I visit my friend down here a few times a year. A second time of being truly disappointed. The food is always good and comes out at a quick pace. We usually end up getting up a breakfast and lunch item. However, the service is always subpar. Our server seemed very scatter brained and tended to forget the things that we asked for. She almost came to our table without a drink before realizing she forgot to give them to us. She was dropping off another table's drinks while turning around to us to ask if everything is okay, which was very awkward. Finally, she dropped the check and we asked if we could get it spilt. Came back to our table and told us she forgot to spilt it. I was in the service industry for years and was always taught to not keep patrons waiting for the check after they finished eating. We waited 15 extra minutes for our checks after we were already done. Waiting around isn't something people enjoy doing after they're done eating. Their servers need to practice on being a bit more attentive. read more

I've now given this place two chances to prove themselves and I've been highly disappointed each time. Now don't get me wrong, the restaurant itself is very nice and clean and the waitstaff is very friendly. Plus, all of the food is presented so beautifully. They have so much going on on the surface, it's really a shame that the most important part (the food) is subpar. The first time I went to Keke's I ordered a standard scramble eggs with oatmeal. With it being priced well over $10 I thought it would be awesome. Boy was I wrong. The food was lackluster and really bland. I had to keep adding ketchup and salt to even manage to eat part of it. The second time, I ended up ordering a tuna melt with sweet potato fries. I, again, was really disheartened by the fact that I spent $12 on a sandwich that tasted worse than the $5 tuna melt I used to get at a diner in Michigan. Plus, I hate that they charge you so much for every little thing. I asked for a very small side of ranch and they charged me 50 cents. I ordered sweet potato fries instead of chips and they charged me $2. My boyfriend asked for cheese in his eggs and they charged him $2. I get having to pay a little extra, but I really think there prices are a little much. I definitely will not be back a third time, I'm tired of paying high prices for food that's less than subpar. read more

This is my new favorite breakfast spot in the Orlando area. I usually drive all the way to Cheesecake Factory for brunch in Orlando but I found this gem in Clermont (the franchise has many locations) and I'm sticking with it! Friendly service, huge portions, and delicious food. Our waitress was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in giving us suggestions as this was our first time eating here. I can't stress enough how big the portion sizes are. I ordered the Florida pancakes with a side of bacon and oatmeal. The fresh fruit topping on the pancakes was so juicy and sweet. I will definitely be back but next time my eyes won't be bigger than my stomach and I'll order a smaller portion. I love this place! read more

Upon arrival at 11:46 am on a Sunday, we were issued a buzzer and informed it was a 35 minute wait. The place smelled great and we opted for waiting; after all it is a sign of good food when there is a wait (unless it's a small town and not many options). Well...breakfast was delicious. My eggs and waffle did not come out hot (I need hot food to be hot), but the waiter took my plates and returned with piping hot versions (they have no microwave which is a good thing). Keke's.... Is.... OUTSTANDING! We've been here twice. Both times have been probably the best breakfast experiences we've ever had. The restaurant is one of the cleanest I have ever seen. The food is super Super fresh and huge in portion size! Normally I'm a meat lovers omelette kind of guy, but when I made the comment about the Turtle Truffle stuffed French toast, a server from across the restaurant with super hearing stated, "OMG THATS THE BEST GET IT!" so... I had to give it a try... Holy cow! What a breakfast. It's definitely worth the after morning coma from the sugar crash. Keke's has out around customer service, great prices, and super fast service. I have heard about this place only by word of mouth and Facebook posts but everything is always really positive so I decided to check it out. I'm so happy I did because I will be coming here more often! This was by far the best breakfast and service! We had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated at 11am on Saturday because it was packed! Our waitress was so nice! She made lots of recommendations since we were new and told us a short history of how the restaurant came to be and that they don't advertise! This place was really clean too!! I had the Florida waffle which comes covered in fresh fruit and whip cream. This was fluffy and soft and giant sized! There were so many berries on top! I also had a side of eggs along with home fries mixed with cheese and bacon!!!! They were to die for!! These are sliced potatoes too! There was so much food I had to take some home. While visiting Clermont, I had to come here after hearing family members raving about this place. And I have to say, it was really good. So much better and more unique than your average breakfast place. I really loved the presentation of the food and the design of the restaurant itself was really nice and modern looking. Our waitress was nice and very attentive without being overbearing. The menu is huge with a lot of delicious sounding stuff and I found myself torn between about 5 different things when it came to ordering! Everything seems really fresh, especially the fruit that comes on certain dishes. The portions are huge too! You definitely won't leave here feeling unsatisfied. There weren't many cons to this place, but the first thing was the wait. We did go on a Saturday, but there was an extreme amount of confusion coming from the hostess and manager on where to seat us even though there were plenty of tables ready with wait staff available. I don't know what that was about, but it was around a 15 minute wait which wasn't that bad, but frustrating when there's tables available and you're just sitting around. The other con was that when the food came out, it wasn't very hot... More like lukewarm. Nothing worse that eggs and potatoes that are cold 2 minutes into eating! If you are both a French toast and chocolate lover like I am, I would highly recommend the Turtle Stuffed French Toast! What breakfast, brunch, and lunch restaurant does not have avocado? It's not on the menu, and when I asked to add it, the server stated that they do not have any. Ever?!?! It's a breakfast place! Ok - let's move on. The coffee cups are tiny, so our server (not very pleasant to begin with) had to keep coming over to refill, as we had both regular & decaf at our table. I got attitude when I asked for decaf. The food is ok, and I did enjoy the portabella in my omelet. Keke's food is better than your average diner, and the ambiance is the best part. Evidently ANY alterations to a standard omelet end up being "build your own". I literally ordered the portabella omelet -- substitute jalapenos instead of red peppers, and the waitress said "Ok, then that's a Build Your Own...." More attitude. As a First Watch regular, I will certainly never go back to keke's again if given the option. Price, freshness, service, options, and coffee are all better at FW. Oh, and avocado. read more

Went to this location for breakfast last Saturday, June 26th. Plenty of parking, short wait, and food and service were very good.

Great spot for breakfast and lunch. Highly recommended! Careful with Sunday mornings as the church crowd will flood the place; making the wait usually around 45 minutes to an hour. Still, worth the wait if you have nowhere to be. My favorite is the eggs Benedict (or Florentine depending on the day). I recommend the potato side to be extra crispy. read more

Not sure what all the hype is about here. People waiting in line on weekends for food that is average, no flavor and coffee tastes like it needs more...coffee! Coffee is weak. It should be called a diner instead of a cafe. Definitely overrated. Maybe it's because there's not much competition around, besides ihop. Employees complaining about not having any breaks. Employees work from open to close without being able to get at least a 15 min break! Management doesn't care about their employees. Been going to Keke's for years but their quality has really fallen off. How bad can a tuna melt be? Menu says "choice of bread". I ordered it on sourdough but the waiter said they were all out. I ask what my choices were and he said white or wheat. I ordered white. The tuna melt arrived and it was barely toasted let alone melted. I had to search for the cheese through 2 huge lettuce leaves. The sandwich was very, very dry and tasteless. I was surprised how empty the place was at noon. Now I know why. Keke's used to be an old standby that you could always depend on. Not any more. The service was good but we had to flag him down to get refills on the ice tea. read more

I love coming back home to Florida & grabbing breakfast here before the adventures begin. There is usually a wait on the weekends, so plan accordingly. Service has always been lovely, even when your server has 8 tables & she can't catch her breath. You cannot go wrong with their pancakes or French toast! They are HUGE & the amount of flavoring choices are endless. My sister's go to is the banana waffle. Simple but delicious! They don't serve ice coffee - I made my own & it was worth it. Coffee is refilled without trying to get someone's attention, everything is freshly made and I always have a lot leftover. The restaurant is clean,as well as the tables,chairs and the restroom. I ordered the Fresh Fruit French Toast with a side of turkey bacon. There were 3 thick slices of French toast,each piece topped with perfectly cut bananas, then strawberries and blueberries.
