My husband and I had lunch here a couple of days ago, and we had a great experience. He ordered the fried chicken dinner with carrots and green beans. I ordered a pot roast sandwich with fries. We also got Biscuits and gravy. Everything was hot and delicious. Our server was really attentive, served us quickly and got everything correct. He also never let our drinks run dry, which really shows great attention. The restaurant was clean, organized, and in great condition. There is plenty of parking. Everything was affordable and cost around $45 with tip. We would definitely eat here again. Rating from F to A +++ I give it an A+++. read more

Love the food. Go almost every week. But they had a water leak along the south wall and there is mold issue. Giveaway was all the salt shakers were a solid mass and there is mold on all the air vents. Wish they would clean it up. Not sure I will go back until I know it's safe. read more

Where I live we don't have this, so when my uncle mentioned it I said sure let's go. It was in an easy accessible area and had enough parking spaces. We were greeted kindly by a young lady who tried to sit us at a table but I asked if we could have a booth, no attitude no eye roll nothing, just a genuine sure come this way. I appreciate this a lot, because usually this is an issue with restaurants not sure why, but anywho. We sat down and had a really sweet server- she was very kind and patient with us. My uncle comes here often so they know him, but they knew I hadn't been there before and helped me guide things. I ended up picking the you pick 2 deal. And my food was so freaking good. I mean so flavorful and tasty. And the biscuits were amazing, and they came with the meal it wasn't anything extra to pay for, my 8.99 meal was probably the best meal I've had in a while. It came with so much I was full and couldn't eat it all I got a BLT with biscuits and a side salad. You can tell they have a lot of regulars here. And you can tell it's nice and quiet in here, there was a lot of laughter and joy in here it was for sure the family vibe that I enjoy. I plan on going back to Bob Evans on my next trip back. My family and I were visiting Florida from New York, and stood in the Claremont area. We stopped by this Bob Evans because we were familiar with the chain and knew we would get delicious food and good service. This Bob Evans was perfect for a quick breakfast, food was delicious coffee hot, and our server Ivelise was amazing!! She was so friendly and quick, whenever we needed something like more coffee she was right there with the pot even before we asked. As we spoke with her, we found out she also use to live in New York so we definitely had a good laugh with her sharing stories. Ate at Bob Evan's today. The receptionist was a wonderful young woman . The atmosphere was satisfactory. The food was horrible. The pancakes were not cooked. I joined a couple of family members on their weekly trip to Bob Evans for breakfast. They talked up the Honey Butter Chicken & Biscuit Breakfast so I wanted to try it. My plate came out with a piece of fresh made fried chicken , two eggs, potatoes and a biscuit. I ordered a side of sausage gravy to go with it. I loved the chicken. It was juicy and the batter was crunchy...perfect. The honey drizzled on top made it extra special. My eggs were great and the potatoes were seasoned nicely. The biscuit gravy was bland and only had tiny specks of sausage in it but overall it's a solid breakfast. read more

Good was good but 4.95 breakfast was 5.95 with a cup of coffees that was over 3.00 which was a little surprising.

Have eaten here many times, and it is pretty consistent with the quality of food, and that's a good thing. Too many times we eat at restaurants and they are great the first time but not so much the next, but this Bob Evans seems to be pretty stable. Our waitress was not the greatest but she did come check on us more than once. One of our favorite's is the Homestead Farmer breakfast, the gravy that comes with it is always delicious, a bit too salty this time but not overpowering, and the home fries were cooked very well. The only thing a little lacking was the scrambled eggs were a little cold and not very fluffy. read more

Bob evens for me is a staple when one wants a quiet breakfast. I am still sad to see that they haven't put the eggs Benedict back on the menu yet. Hard to find these days. That being said the food was on point; hot fresh and delicious. The service was a bit slow seeing that there was few people, but it is a Monday morning. Got a guys breakfast with my son and the Carmel coffee was great. Would have liked a thicker amount of hash browns especially as tasty as they are. This breaks my heart. I grew up in Ohio when Bob Evan's was pure country comfort food. Apparently that ship has sailed. We were seated after a 5 minute wait into a half filled dining room. Then we waited 10 more minutes for the waitress to finally take our orders...all two of them. Then we waited another 15 minutes for the food. And it was all meh at best. The biscuits were even meh. How does one screw up that many recipes at once? The place is in dire need of a deep clean and some good ol' fashion maintenance. Poor Bob Evans would flip over in his grave if he saw this travesty on his brand. We won't be back. read more

Early family dinner not really what was expected. We ordered 3 meals: 1. Bacon cheese burger with loaded fries- fried we're good but the cheese was cold and hadn't even begun to melt. The bacon seemed as if it were cooked earlier in the day and left out to dry. It wasn't even visually appealing. The burger itself was well cooked though. 2. Kids Mac n cheese with fries-Again, fries were good but the Mac n cheese looked like leftover school cafeteria food. My 5 year old liked it but it didn't look very appealing at all. 3. Brioche french toast with turkey sausage- the french toast seemed as though it was the very first thing cooked in my family's order and left out to await the burger to cook frozen. It was ice cold. I don't complain about food because I fear something would happen to my food if I complain about it. The turkey sausage was hot and the outside was crispy. It was a great piece of meat. I'm not going to lie, this part made me even more pissed off then any of the food. We were greeted by a younger gentlemen at the host stand who sat us at a booth. From afar, I saw that the table had something spilled on it. The host glanced at it and then threw the menus right on top of that along with something sticky and immediately walked away before I was able to address it. When he glanced at it I originally thought he would grab a towel and take care of it which is why I didn't address it immediately. I picked up my the menus after he walked away as I didn't want my kids sitting at a dirty table and from a distance the waiter saw my table and rushed to me to clean it and apologized. Also, while we were eating my kids and I had to listen to the short young lady drop the F-bomb numerous times from the kitchen and near the counter where other people sat to eat. My son kept reminding me that she had a potty mouth. Not quite the conversation I wanted to have at dinner. Also, the condiments needed to be filled and although I asked the waiter for splenda twice he never brought it out. My son is diabetic so he orders unsweet tea and uses splenda to sweeten it. First time here and I will definitely come back! I had breakfast and it was some good southern comfort. You must have the gravy - DELISH! My rating is solely based on the food, my server was awkward and bland. We had to ask another server for coffee. So the coffee is ok, watery, but the coffee bean is good quality. The gravy is a must !! The banana bread was ok, not out of this word, so my expectation went down on that. Dining room was beautiful! This is a place that deserves more than four stars, but not five. The staff is nice, and Troy was warm and cheerful. I liked him a lot. And the breakfast selections were not cookie cutter so please, don't come here expecting it to be like IHOP or Perkins or Denny's. Bob Evans is its own fun experience. And where else can I order a mimosa or sangria with my breakfast? Exactly. So having said that, the place got slammed so our dining experience was incomplete. Over the years Bob Evan's has been one of the few corporate restaurants I'd eat at due to their consistency in recipes from coast to coast. The staff here were professional and friendly, doing their best to keep customers happy. But, what a disappointment to find recipes had changed and items I craved, no longer taste as they have for decades. I can not recommend anyone go to this restaurant, as the wait was sooooolong for our food both times we went here on vacation. With fine dining I'm happy to wait for yummy food. But, didn't appreciate that we had to wait more than 40 min before our waitress served our food. While the manager kindly reduce the bill for our dinner, since I could not eat my chicken, due to the over whelming amount of pepper on it, after 40 min of waiting, I left hungry and unhappy. read more

We frequent here quite a few times when we're in Clermont. We usually have a good experience but today was different. We were seated in a decent timely manner. However the server was not friendly and acted as if she didn't want to serve us. We sat at the table for 10 minutes after we were seated and she never came over and got our drink order. I then got up, walked over to her and was nice and asked her if she knew we were there because the restaurant wasn't very busy and we didn't know if she knew we were there after the hostess seated us. It's hard to follow someone when they won't even look you in the face and speak up. Got seated and they did bring drinks right away. Not sure if it is against policy for staff to smile but it seemed that they all were having an off day. Placed an order for a steak and mashed potatoes with out the toppings and a hamburger. The steak and potatoes came out first covered in the sauce we asked not to have and about 5 minutes later the hamburger. My daughter enjoyed the steak. And the biscuits were good. The hamburger wasn't something I would order again. Making a living in this industry is tough enough, but if you choose to do it have a better attitude and smile those little things will go a long way. Food was all good as usual. but had an issue when we went up to pay. Waited about 5 minutes for someone to take our money. Staff was there but busy doing other things and didn't even say anything like, "Sorry for the wait. Someone will be with you in a minute." Plenty of opportunity with us staring at them. On top of that, when someone finally stopped to help, she had us walk over to the other register. Normally not an issue for us but my mother-in-law was there and paying. It was only about 15 steps or so but she has difficulty walking even with her walker. She could've easily paid from where she was standing if the lady had not insisted. Finishing breakfast at Bob Evans in Clermont in Hwy 50... soooo slllooowww!!! Ordered oatmeal - it was good -- but it comes with cranberries and/or pecans which is a huge win (I think) cause most restaurants serve with raisins! Also comes with milk and brown sugar. Ordered the cinna-biscuits... they're really "doughy" so as long as you like that - enjoy! We do not! Servers were friendly just really really slow! Really giving 4* cause they were nice - food was just "ok" and service was slow. read more
