We waited 5 minutes to get seated which was great. However, when we sat down, the food took about 20-25 minutes to come. I do understand that they were busy since they warned us. I was hoping the food would make it worth the wait. No seasoning was used for the dish I got which was the egg wrap and grits with cheddar. I also ordered an iced coffee and it was very watered down and the creamer they use are the small pre-packaged creamers. No other options. My BF got the Italian chicken panini, which surprisingly wasn't bad. Way overrated. This is place does not deserve 5 stars. Customer service was on point though. read more

Bring back the old owners. I've been here three times since under new ownership (it's close and easy) and each time our meal delivery extraordinarily slow, and the food was anemic. I used to love their turtle French toast, but now I have to beg for more chocolate sauce and nuts and the toast itself is smaller. Additionally, my mother-in-law's blueberry French toast shrank. On top of all that it took two hours for breakfast the other day. lunch should've been quick because it was in the middle of the week and it still took a long time. Used to love it. My personal favorite is Turkey BLT with side of scrambled eggs mixed with American Cheese. Turkey Bacon is the best. The pancakes are huge, crispy on the outside and soft and gooey in the middle. The Keke's in Windermere recently reopened with a new owner/management, and we were excited to make a return to this establishment that's been closed for a few months. As we entered, we were greeted very warmly. Immediately, I also noticed that they had redone the entire interior (and added outdoor seating as well). They made the inside much cheerier with brighter colors on the walls (including faux plant walls), added new lighting and fixtures, and replaced all of the booths and tables with lighter colors as well. The whole place looked amazing and much more modern. Our server Cristobal was very friendly and attentive. I ordered the cheesesteak omelet, which I've had before and it came out perfectly. However, I do miss the longer menu that Keke's used to have a few years ago before abbreviating it. They used to have a lot more options and now it's just a very condensed and simplified version of their previous extensive menu. I'm excited that Keke's has returned and we can add it back into our weekend breakfast rotation. read more

My 2nd give it a chance. Eggs were cold and French toast was cold, the bottom didn't looked cook at all. No one asked me how it was. A man with guest receipts in his back pocket walked by several times, no smile. I wasn't asked if I'd like a refill of ice tea. I had to ask for syrup and the tables across from me had syrup. Every Keke's we have been to has been top notch. So many amazing food options, the best home fries. And amazing service. Kiki's is a great casual breakfast/brunch spot. The food is tasty & really reasonably priced. The server had to be reminded to bring cream for my tea but I think it was because it was so busy. I ordered to go for my husband towards the end & they brought it out really fast. One thing that was annoying was the small, rectangular plate that my eggs and ham came on - way too small & the food kept flying off the plate when i would try to cut in to it. Please use bigger plates! Another thing is that i asked for poached eggs & they came out rubbery & shaped like they had been microwaved. But honestly these are very small things and I still give it 5 stars because I enjoyed the experience and the good food! read more

Keke's is a chain of restaurants now owned by Dennys. This location was nearby to my haircut appointment. Wifey ate the chicken Caesar wrap with fries. She said it was okay. I had the Greek omelette which looked fantastic but lacking in spinach. It was only a sprinkle of chopped raw spinach leaves on top. Used to having actual spinach inside my omelette. Well will no longer be visiting this location and will stick to Dr. Phillips. Today was a horrible experience. We chose this location for my bday and arrived at 11:30am (8ppl) and were told 20-30min. We were finally sat at 12:15 and our order/drinks taken at 12:35. We didn't get our food until 1:10. My mom ordered eggs Benedict and the eggs were hard boiled. The server brought out more and again they were the same but my mom didn't want to send them back due to the amount of time to get new ones. The server apology and informed she will speak to the manager for a discount. We were under the impression they would credit her food but only took 10% off when she couldn't even eat it. It's been years since I have had Keke's. I couldn't remember why I hadn't been but I was reminded when I received my order. Everyone loves Keke's and so I thought let's give it another try. I am odd and prefer my waffles well done. I like a golden brown crispy outside with a cooked inside. I always make a point wherever I go to let them know I like it well done. I even joke about how I know it's probably an odd request. Some places get it perfect the first time and sometimes the server will come out and ask if it's done enough and then bring it back to be browner. When the first one came out I apologized and showed her the inside and asked for it to be well done (again I did order it well done) she was super sweet and said she understands she is the same way. But when the second one came out it wasn't much better. At This point my mom and kids were enjoying their food I had finished the eggs and sausage and ate the waffle the way it was. If we go back I need to remind myself to get eggs. No pancakes or waffles. read more

I had breakfast at KeKe's, which is conveniently close to home. With plenty of locations, this one rarely has a wait, though parking can be a bit tricky on weekends. The restaurant is spacious, with tables spread out enough to keep the noise level down. They give those weird wax kids toys they can mold and shape into things. The service was quick but not rushed, and the food came out pretty quick. I ordered the pancakes with fruit, and they were massive--easily enough to share or save for leftovers. The kids had the chocolate chip pancakes, which were absolutely delicious. KeKe's is a great spot for a simple, no-fuss breakfast. Been here twice during my birthday week. This is now our family's breakfast spot. There's so many options for breakfast to choose from that I have yet to try their lunch during brunch time. I'm always down for pancakes. These don't disappoint. They're bigger than my face. I doubt you'd finish a stack of three. I've ordered their eggs Benedict and pancake combo with a side of their home fries. The home fries are actually sliced red potatoes. My brother in law got them extra crispy, which actually tasted really good. Otherwise, they are on the softer side. Their bacon is cooked well - not too soft or crispy. You can order them well done, if that's your preference. The cheesesteak omelette is what you would expect like the sandwich but with eggs. The eggs Benedict was ok. The poached eggs were a little overcooked and not as runny. The hot chocolate is loaded with whipped cream, and the OJ is fresh squeezed. You get a nice, tall glass of it. Service is friendly and attentive. They regularly check on you and refill your coffee. I love that they give the kids wikki stix! You can mold it into anything like animals, shapes, or letters. I use them in my school-based therapy setting. There's plenty of parking in this shopping center. Anyway, you know Keke's is good when your friend who used to live in Florida but now lives in Houston can recognize the place just by seeing your photo holding their breakfast plates! Lol. I am so disgusted with the Kekes management. this restaurant used to be awesome when Nikki was manager. ever since she left it has gone downhill. took out of town guests. took ten minutes sitting at table to get water...omelet was cold after a half hour wait ... grits served incorrectly. few services thiugh James was good.. what happened? all new servers except two must be a new chef because food for my last few visits was mediocre at best. Manager tried to help...but unless Nikki returns I will just go to Paneras or First Watch. Big mistake moving Nikki and her group. PLEASE BRING HER BACK. She was friendly to ALL no matter what may have been reported. The restaurant was amazing. No more. Keke's is one of the most reliable chain restaurants that I try and go to as often as possible. When we lived in FL we'd get friends together for a Sunday brunch and now when we go to visit we keep the tradition alive. It's good that there are so many locations because it's so popular. But despite there always being a packed house the food always come out quickly, tasting delicious, and you'll always leave happy. The portions are generous, and they probably have the best fruit bowls and silver dollar pancakes around. Definitely check out a Keke's when you're in Fl!! read more

So firstly this place is incredibly popular if the wait/crowd was anything to go by. Personally as someone from the south (GA), I wasn't supeeeer impressed with the breakfast items that WEREN'T made with batter lol The pancakes and waffles were amazing! But everything else was pretty sub par. I don't think there was any salt/pepper/seasoning whatsoever on my egg white which, if you've ever tasted plain egg whites you know it's a CRIME. The ambiance is really comforting and bright. Great for a small group but you may be waiting for quite some time if you come with a large group for brunch. My family and I went to Kekes for breakfast, including my young niece, and unfortunately the entire experience was incredibly disappointing from the moment we sat down. We were seated right away in what was practically an empty restaurant, so we expected things to go smoothly. Instead, our server, Destiny, didn't come to take our order until 17minutes after we were seated. She didn't write anything down even though we were a group of seven, which already made us nervous about the accuracy of the order. After taking the order, she disappeared again and didn't bring our drinks for another 18 minutes. Instead of asking for helping it was a sinking ship. At that point, we had to go find the manager ourselves just to get some basic service. When Destiny returned, things went from bad to worse. She became confrontational, raising her voice at us, telling us we could leave, and calling us "rude asses" -- all in front of my niece. It was extremely unprofessional and completely unacceptable behavior from a server, especially in a family restaurant. The manager did come over and handled the situation the right way. He listened, apologized, and assigned us a new server. While we appreciated his professionalism, it still didn't take away from how unacceptable the entire experience had been, especially given how over-the-top and inappropriate Destinys behavior was. Our new server, Alex, was the one bright spot. He was polite, attentive, and immediately got us the drinks and help we had been waiting for all morning. But even then, when our food finally arrived, two of my cousin's items were missing because Destiny never bothered to write the order down in the first place. Overall, the visit was stressful, disappointing, and not at all what anyone should experience when simply trying to have breakfast with family. Thanks to Alex and the manager for trying to fix things, but the damage had already been done. We won't be returning. read more

We've ordered delivery from this location twice, and both times they've messed up our order. We won't be ordering from here again. Part of the problem is they do not offer for you to easily make changes to your order in the deliver apps which makes it difficult to choose items if you don't like one of the ingredients that is in the order. However, they do have you specifically choose your sides with your food, and the first time we ordered I selected Turkey bacon. They gave me home fries. This morning I ordered again and noticed they did have a note on the entire order option, so I utilized this to say not to put bell peppers in my omelet- something I cannot stand and one of the reasons I have a hard time being able to find something on their menu as they put it in a lot of dishes. We also asked for a specific type of bagel. The note was obviously ignored as my omelet was covered in bell peppers and the bagel was not changed to the type asked for. I'm just going to throw the meal in the trash because honestly it tastes terrible and is super dry even after trying to dig the million peppers out. Only downside: no biscuits & gravy or any grits. But it's ok, every other place has them. Booths were roomy. They even had larger booths for 6 and they added a table & chairs for a group of 8; still generous room in the aisles! Pancakes are huge and fluffy good. Like a cloud! Could have had more chips - hence 4 stars. Bacon was done to my crispy liking. Husband like the omelette and would order again. Honestly, I wasn't sure about his food by the looks, but he liked it! Service was slow. But expected with the amount of people in there. But 80% of the was brought out and then the last 20% which were bacon and home fries didn't come until 15 mins later.
