If the branch manager's personality reflects how the business is run, save yourself a BIG trouble…read more Stay away. The branch manager is an overly-defensive man who will resort to personal attacks when none is warranted. I visited the branch office, but due to a scheduling issue from their end (after I drove 30-mins) I ended up having to talk to the branch manager by the name of Simon Pozirekides. He goes by the name "Pozi." (I kid you not.) I asked him questions regarding the discrepancies between what's been advertised and what's been offered. All I wanted was a reasonable explanation for the obvious discrepancies. I would've accepted the usual, scribe's mistake excuse. Instead, he told me I was wrong (as I was literally holding the proof in my hand to support my claim), and started going off about how misinformed I was. I drove 30-mins enthusiastically for a deal, but I ended up leaving with a bad taste in my mouth. And for what? For politely asking a question any fair, reasonably prudent person would.

Stay away from this office! I had a very bad experience with putting in an offer for a rental. The…read morerealtor sent me an email informing me that if I extended my current lease that the owner would sign the lease paperwork that evening. I worked with the place I was living in to add an additional half month to my lease (which at LA rent prices ran me in the thousands) only to hear back two days later that I needed to commit to an additional $600/month to get the place. I put in a complaint to the branch manager Simon, who completely blew me off and disregarded the complaint even though I had email proof of the shady treatment that I received from the realtor. Further, I put in a complaint to the broker of record and received literally no response. It's sad that realty companies feel they can treat people poorly right now while the market is hot. Spend your time looking for a realty company that values all customers regardless of what side they are on.

Towards the end of June 2015, we contacted agent Eitan Costine of Teles Properties in Brentwood to…read morediscuss selling a property we owned in the San Fernando Valley. Eitan stated to us that he really wouldn't consider listing the house for more than $X, and that its appeal would likely be to a builder/developer/investor. After meeting with Eitan, we decided to utilize a different agent/broker because we believed that Eitan was off-base in both marketing and pricing the property. We actually sold the house with virtually no improvements (using a different agent/broker) for $100K more than the maximum of $X that Eitan had proposed, just 30 days after opening escrow. Once we made the decision to go with a different agent/broker, Eitan sent us an email telling us that he was not "pleased" with us, that he had no ulterior motive in underpricing the property, and that small improvements (as we had suggested) would have "negligible" impact on the sale price (and stated that a "thorough set of improvements" would yield a better price). Further, in a subsequent email, Eitan stated that he 1) felt our listing price of $X was way too high and that 2) by using the agent we ultimately chose, we would be working with people who would not likely be as interested in securing top dollar for the property. Eitan also stated that the agency we chose often let homes sit on the market for months. . We believe that Eitan either 1) doesn't know the real estate market very well, 2) had an ulterior motive of making money on both ends with the seller and a buyer (he mentioned numerous times to us that he had very interested buyers already lined up), or 3) both. Whatever the case may be, we found Eitan's lack of professionalism to be appalling, and, as such, we would not recommend ever doing business with him.

This company is what wrong with the housing market and what will cause the next house crisis, they are bullies. I'm 37 years old. In almost 20 years of renting in LA, I've never been asked for tax returns -- not even when I bought a property. This is ridiculous. Extremely rude, invasive, and discriminatory. They're clearly looking for any reason to reject people. Complete waste of time. Stay away.
