I was plesenley surprised that this was decent bbq didn't have very much smoked flavor it was still good they keep it in a steam table witch cooks it to much so it more like chop beef so I would recommend a sandwich both there bbq sauce are good but there cookies are amazing

All the juice that escaped my very tasty and delicious Pulled Pork Sandwich with Spicy sauce from Kelly's Barbecue and Catering

I was in the area for a medical appointment and decided to stop at Kelly's Barbecue for some early dinner. I enjoy pulled pork and was curious to taste Kelly's offering. I did some research by reading other reviews and found that Kelly's offers "spicy sauce"! I am a big fan of spicy food so I was very happy to find out they had a spicy sauce. I chose to order a pulled pork sandwich with spicy sauce and for the included side, I ordered their coleslaw. I was not able to eat my pulled pork sandwich and coleslaw at Kelly's because I had a social appointment I was late for. Imagine my surprise, and delight, when I was able to eat. I was totally unprepared for the fact that my sandwich was unassembled! All the items were present in separate containers waiting for me to add as much or little of each! I was a little saddened I didn't know that right away because I ate the very wonderful and delicious coleslaw while I was driving to my social appointment. I would have loved to put at least a little of the coleslaw on top of the pork. However, the pulled pork definitely did NOT need the extra moistness the coleslaw would have provided. The meat was tasty, juicy, nicely seasoned and delicious! In fact, the sandwich was so moist that I am thankful I am in the habit of eating over a plate. Otherwise I would have had an embarrassing wet spot in the front of my pants! My recommendation is to give this wonderful barbecue place a try and definitely eat your sandwich over the to go container to catch the juice!

I had the pork ribs for Rock and my friend has the beef brisket French dip there wasn't anything left he loved it and I really enjoyed my ribs... There is no indoor dining you have to sit out on the picnic tables. The only thing there was a few yellow jackets that wanted to eat my meal. I would definitely come here again.

Chicken was great. The Mac and cheese was so bad. The pulled pork and brisket was good but not amazing. The potato salad was ok.

Catered my wedding. Good service and food. Flexible with a changing party. I liked the spinach and balsamic.

There is some street parking, but we ended up parking in a public parking lot north of the cafe. The place is cute and charming, and it's decorated with art that is for sale. The menu on the wall was just for drinks, and their food menu was laminated nearby for us to peruse. We had a nice chat with JJ (who I think is the co-owner), and he was very bubbly and nice. It was fun to witness his kindness to other customers and neighbors as they came in. This place seems very involved with the community. There are a few tables both outside and inside. The TV behind us was playing Pandora for radio music. Nearby, they had some free chocolate-covered coffee beans and your own water and silverware station. I got an Arnold Palmer, and boy, was it tart! I got my own sugar to try to sweeten it up. I also ate the Ricky Ricardo panini, and it wasn't my favorite. The aioli wasn't flavorful enough for me to notice, or maybe it was missing, and the pickles were too thick. I didn't love the flavor profile on this sandwich, and it was pretty hot (in temperature) to eat, so I had to let it cool down a bit. Connor loved his smoked salmon toast! There were a ton of capers, so lots of salt there. The herbed cream cheese was the star of the show, with the flavorful toast being a close second. He really appreciated it. I think I'd be happy to come back and try a different sandwich.

The patio faces one of the main streets so there was lots of good people watching. I ordered a beer flight and was very satisfied with all four of my selections: Prickly Pear Kolsch - it was creamy and easy to drink, bursting with prickly pear flavor; just the right amount of tart and sweet. Lightly Buzzed Honey Lavender Blonde - my favorite of the flight; it was very hoppy but light and refreshing and well balanced by intense lavender flavor and a smooth honey finish. Get it! You won't regret it. High Five Hefe - lighter/less hazy and more hoppy than most hefes it made for a unique and complimentary beer on my flight. Pommeroys Citra Pale Ale - a perfect West Coast IPA. To eat, my pup got the Lucky Dog hamburger (which the chef pre-cut) and loved it! He chowed down in less than a minute. And I got the Mac & Cheese Burger (sub a veggie patty) with the Garlic Fries. It was a very indulgent meal to say the least. The burger was loaded with so much Mac & Cheese that I couldn't even put the top bun on it and pick it up. lol I had to knife and fork the whole thing which was totally worth it. The Mac is a classic home style recipe (think Stouffers but better). Their fries are shoestring and super crispy and salty. And they loaded those up with an amazing garlic aioli and Parmesan. I got a side of their house-made curry aioli and was obsessed with it. Every fry that didn't have sauce or parm got a dip in that deliciousness and I added it to quite a few of the burger bites too. All in all, a great brewpub that I look forward to returning to in the future!

I was in the mood for a good burger and we had heard great things about Temperate Habits, so we…read moretried them on a Thursday evening during the prime dinner hour. Our server was Rainey, she was awesome, very attentive, and came to our table right away to take our order. The atmosphere at Temperate Habits is very nice, there is outside seating but we sat inside due to the bright evening sun. Our meals took quite a while to arrive, I think we were at the tail end of the dinner rush and my guess is they have a small kitchen. My classic cheeseburger was about the most generic, predictable, and utterly boring burger I could imagine, and for $17 I would certainly not return for that or the mundane shoestring fries. The burger patty, bun, and fries were all non creative and the there was nothing even the slightest bit unique about my burger, in fact I swear it is the exact same burger that the Skagit River Brewery serves just around the corner. The surprise entree was the Crab and Lobster Tots, now whoever thought that would be good? The plate looked very strange to say the least but I have to say.... this dish was really good! So you'd think if they could create that total mayhem of a dish that they could get far more creative with the burgers and least have a house burger sauce or a higher quality bun for $17, something? I might return to Temperate Habits to have a drink with friends and share some tots, because they give you a large enough portion for four people, but I would certainly look elsewhere for a good burger. 5 stars for atmosphere and service, 1 star for the burger, 4 stars for the tots.
