    I am so glad we went with Kelly Duprat as our wedding planner. I think I knew right from the start that we wanted to have her be our planner. Maybe it's because I saw her love story as a mirror of mine (since we were combining Filipino and Vietnamese culture for our wedding). The first few things I noticed about her is her professionalism, responsiveness, and her attention to detail. I never wait very long for her to reply to any emails or texts. Plus, she is very organized! When we met first met in person, she was able to create a custom hybrid package that catered for our specific needs for the wedding. She was so helpful every step of the way. We owe it to her for keeping us on track every month by sending email check ups and providing us a checklist which breaks down what you would want to get done by each month / weeks up until the wedding. I think Kelly and her team went above beyond to ensure our special day was perfect. I truly believe we couldn't have had such a dream wedding without her help. I highly recommend her and her team!

    I got proposed in Disneyland and I really wanted a Disney wedding. We ended up booking The Grand Californian Hotel and Spa. While Disney provides us with a Disney wedding planner and team, we were also going to have a ceremony at Christ Cathedral since for a Catholic wedding we have to do the ceremony in a church. Due to this, we wanted a wedding planner who can coordinate everything. We chose Kelly and her team due to a recommendation from a friend. Kelly we hired her as a day of coordinator but she would have monthly emails/ virtual meetings and even more meetings the month of. She had many meetings with the Disney wedding planner too. She also gave recommendations for vendors who would fit my vision. I needed a florist with my vision and who was creative and she delivered. Kelly also takes care of the COI for the hotel as well so you do not have to. During the day of, Kelly came to the church herself, but the reception she had a full on team of three assistants. They set up my personal elements, and Jenny was there at my side the whole time. She made sure I had water, drinks and food as brides so not always get food LOL. Kelly also helped with my ao dai. The zipper broke! She pinned me up and it looked good. Without her, I do not know what to do. Some people even came up to me and was like wow. You have so many people working for you and that was Kelly and her team! I felt like an actual princess with them helping me with my shoes, dress and eating. The one hiccup I had was that I asked my cousin to be my social media content creator but she was busy and did not do as much social media and I wanted to. Kelly made an awesome reel of the my wedding and I was a great summary of the wedding. All and all, I would say pick Kelly because she is organized, quick with emails and gives you the best memories of your wedding day.

Many venues provide a day-of coordinator, but they're really there for the best interests of the venue, not the couple. We hired Kelly for day-of coordination and her holistic approach in planning and execution made our special day such a hit with our family and friends. Having someone on our side to fulfill our vision was something well worth it. Although we only hired Kelly for day-of coordination, she kept us accountable with checking in on us monthly to keep up on track for all the incremental things we needed to get done. Those small wedding details only you and your partner care about became Kelly's #1 priority to bring to life. She also brings to the table countless wedding pro-tips she's acquired through the hundreds of successful weddings she's done in the past. This really highlights the level of care and passion she has in doing what she does best! Moreover, she has quite a stellar team of 3 that she takes with her to carry out the wedding vision we dreamed of. For more context, we wanted to have a modern Filipino wedding, which means our evening was jam-packed with entertainment from start to finish. With a total of 6 special performances, 3 outfit changes, and only 7 hours of ceremony/reception to complete, you can only imagine the high level of coordination needed to make our dream wedding a reality. This feat was nothing Kelly and her team couldn't handle thanks to their outstanding professionalism, clear communication, and overall joy in making our wedding the best night of our lives!     I absolutely love Kelly and her team! They really go the extra mile on your special day! I had so many last minute changes and Kelly and her team managed to make it all possible. I had super plain centerpieces and they were able to make it work! Everything still looked so elegant with the venue. I seriously just gave the team whatever I collected for the wedding and asked them to make it pretty. And they 100% understood the assignment. I had some crazy ideas and they were very supportive. They helped make our ideas become a reality. I'm talking about money guns during the ceremony type of crazy. The wedding day flowed pretty smoothly even when my florals were hours late. The month leading up to the wedding was very organized. We had lots of meetings about what we wanted and Kelly will tell us what we need. If you need a wedding coordinator, Kelly is your girl!

    We hired Kelly and her team for day-of-coordination. Right from the start she knew exactly what to ask us and understood what we were looking for. Kelly organized our wedding timeline and knew exactly how much time was needed for all the activities we wanted to do. She was ALWAYS responsive to emails and always had the right answer to our many many questions! She knows the really knows wedding industry in Orange County and can help you find local vendors too! We had multiple virtual meetings before our wedding day and she and her team were very organized and professional! We left all our DIY decorations with Kelly the week before and she brought all of it to the venue and did all the work of putting everything perfectly were I wanted them to be at the venue! We also had Jenny for our wedding day coordination and she was so attentive to us! She even went on a coffee run for my bridal party! On the wedding day she kept our photographers on schedule, brought us food and drinks, and always let us know what was coming up next so we didn't have to worry about a thing. They made our wedding run sooo smoothly and all of our guests said our wedding was the best wedding they ever went to! Hiring this team was the best wedding decision my husband and I made!     If you're a bride planning your wedding and are looking for a day of coordinator, hands down Kelly and her team is the absolute best choice. Here's my experience: We booked Kelly about 9 months before our wedding, and each month leading up to the big day, Kelly would check in with us to make sure we were on track with booking vendors, planning, and the works. She also has great vendor recommendations because of her extensive experience in the industry, in particular for the LA/OC areas. Kelly is so organized, which honestly made everything less stressful for me. About a month before the wedding, we had a few virtual/in-person meetings with Kelly to discuss timeline, logistics, inventory, literally every detail of the wedding. You know Kelly is good at what she does because she remembered every detail of the timeline that we had down to the minute. She also helped with our wedding rehearsal the day before to make sure our wedding party knew what to do. Btw, Kelly also officiated our wedding - talk about a jack of all trades! On the wedding day, I had one of Kelly's team members, Ying, with me from the morning to help coordinate the timeline for hair and makeup, events at my parents' house, wedding photos, etc. Kelly and the rest of her team went ahead to our Venue to begin setup. This was especially nice because I had someone by my side the entire day helping with the details, organization, timeline so I didn't have to worry too much and could just enjoy the moment. When we arrived at the Venue, everything was set up so beautifully for the ceremony. After the ceremony, Kelly and her team flipped the entire space into reception in under 30 minutes - and they did such a good job, the details were perfect and matched exactly what I envisioned. Throughout the reception, Kelly and her team would whisk us away when needed based on our timeline, made sure we had food and drinks amidst all the craziness, and worked with all our other vendors to make everything flow seamlessly. Honestly, I'm so grateful we had KDWP with us. There are so many moving pieces leading up to and during a wedding day, and it wouldn't have been possible without her. Kelly made the day happen so effortlessly and everything came together just like how I hoped it would. We'll forever be grateful to Kelly and her team (Ying, Vrisara, and Tania) - thank you!! :D

    COVID wedding here! We pushed through with keeping our wedding date while maintaining the health and safety of all our guests. Our backyard wedding had all of the PPE bells and whistles. I'll keep this short and sweet so that it's actually read! 1. From the first meeting I knew Kelly Duprat and her team were going to have it handled. ALL of her suggestions for our changed venue(due to the pandemic) we used. She suggested a flip wedding(backyard ceremony to front yard cocktail hour to backyard reception) at my husbands parents home and transitioned it into an absolute dream! 2.Im a spreadsheet/schedule kind of gal and Kelly ran through the itinerary with me multiple times, including house walk throughs. This isn't their first rodeo and they are prepared to expect the unexpected! The day of I completely felt assured they had EVERYTHING handled and under control. 3. Her entire team is the bomb.com!!!!! These girls are smart, kind and thoughtful! Without feeling rushed, the entire team had all events of the night down to a science! All while holding a smile on their faces I HIGHLY suggest reaching out to Kelly Duprat for all of your wedding planning needs. No pandemic was holding this team down! We heart you Kelly Duprat!

    Booked Kelly almost a year out through a friend's referral. Fast forward to April 14, 2018 and our wedding becomes more than we could have imagined it to be. We got her for day of coordinating but Kelly will check up on you once a month to make sure you're on track and help if you need anything. Suggestions on vendors, preliminary timelines, logistics, things like that. We never felt like things were crazy. Really, why do people keep asking about wedding planning all the time? We always felt like things were under control. Then 1-2 weeks prior to the wedding, you hand over everything to Kelly and really let her work her magic. Trust her with your wedding because that's what she's good at. She definitely brought together everything and everyone and really we could not have had a better experience.

She was to talk to, which made the whole process of planning a wedding less stressful. The florist industry was and is still going through a flower shortage, but they did their magic to get me the exact color and flower choices we wanted. We're very thankful and appreciative of their work, so we gave them gratuity to hopefully make up for some inflation. I highly highly recommend these ladies for your wedding flowers. I'm sure being in the business for so long she's dealt with a ton of bridezillas but she remained professional throughout the whole process and only wanted the best for me and my husband. For my florals, I really wanted white dried leaves and knew they were limited and hard to get but she went out of her way to make sure I got them for my floral arrangements! Ven was just so very easy to work with and was always available to us when we had questions. Our wedding wouldn't have looked beautiful the way it was without her stunning work. Over the next two years of planning, Abby and her team brought our ideas to life and helped to make our dream wedding a reality. Design: We told Abby we wanted an "East Meets West" theme that blended our cultures in a way that felt modern and elegant, a tough balance that could've easily come off as cheesy in if executed poorly. But Abby nailed it of course, her design sense is unreal. From color palettes and floral choices to the way she tied together modern décor with cultural elements, everything was cohesive and elevated. She has an incredible eye for detail and always found creative, out-of-the-box ways to make our ideas work. The end result was a wedding that felt truly felt like us! Communication: Throughout the entire process, Abby and her team were consistently on top of communication. She kept us updated between meetings, sent friendly reminders, and made sure we were always aligned on next steps. It's easy for things to slip through the cracks when planning something this big, but Abby kept everything organized and stress-free. We never once felt out of the loop, she was always calm, professional, and genuinely fun to talk to. Vendor Management: Abby's vendor management skills are next level. She has deep connections and knows everyone in the wedding world. When we needed vendors for flowers, desserts, or décor, she already had a curated list of the best options with pros and cons ready for us. Some of our vendors were booked more than a year in advance, but Abby and her team were always on top of follow-ups, contracts, and logistics. By the time the big day arrived, every vendor was perfectly coordinated. It really felt like we had assembled the Avengers of wedding vendors! Working Style: We can't say enough about how enjoyable it was to work with Abby and her team. They're so friendly, positive, and genuinely care about their couples. Whenever unexpected hiccups came up (and they always do in wedding planning), Abby handled them with grace and a sense of humor. She's done hundreds of weddings, so she always had the experience to guide us to make informed decisions. It was so fun working with the entire team and it made the stressful process of wedding planning feel less stressful. Execution: This is where Abby and her team truly shine. Planning is one thing, but executing flawlessly is another and they did it all seamlessly. From coordinating vendors to keeping our timeline on track, they were everywhere and nowhere all at once, putting out fires behind the scenes before we even knew they existed. The day flowed perfectly. At the end of the night, we were blown away to see how they had already packed up all our belongings, made sure our ride was ready, and tied up every little loose end without us lifting a finger. That level of thoughtfulness really showed how much they care. Budget & Financial Management: The truth is weddings are expensive, and it's easy for costs to spiral if you're not careful. Abby was phenomenal at keeping everything organized and transparent. She tracked every expense, set reminders for upcoming milestone payments for vendors, and even handled tipping for all our vendors so we didn't have to stress about it on the big day.     Unfortunately, I was not able to have the Forever & Always Wedding that I dreamed of. Although…read moreHeather communicated very well, there were a couple of incidents that I found slightly unprofessional: 1. I signed a contract with one of her staff as my wedding planner. Unfortunately, from my understanding, there were unexpected changes in the company, so Heather had to take over. However, Heather responded that she would make an exception for me and not charge me an additional $1000 for this change. With all due respect, I should not be financially penalized for changes that an owner experiences; especially since I already signed the contract that I financially agreed to. 2. I encountered a lot of life changes that disrupted my ability to move forward with a wedding that my brothers were supposed to be in. For instance, I had a depressed, suicidal brother, I had another brother leave for Japan for the Marines, and I had an uncle pass away. All vendors except for Heather were so kind to fully refund my deposits due to the situation. Unfortunately, Heather responded that she was still a businesswoman and was financially hurting, so she was in no place to offer a full refund. I basically paid Heather almost $500 to establish a simple contract. I already had all the vendors in place and organized, so this deposit was for nothing. Heather should not be held responsible for unexpected circumstances, but this wedding meant a lot to me. As a business owner, you should be able to compromise with your clients based on their situation. I could have easily used that deposit to help my family for the funeral. I find this situation absurd because I never wanted a wedding planner to begin with. Our wedding list was only 32 guests, but my fiancé insisted that we hire a planner because he did not want me to stress out. I admire him for caring, but this wedding was going to be a private and intimate event with very little management. I blame myself for hiring a wedding planner when I did not need one. It is unfortunate that Heather was thinking like a businesswoman and not a human being with empathy. Nonetheless, please make sure to ask about the refund policy for emergencies such as death, health, etc. Two stars are for her communication, but I can only evaluate Heather based on my experience with her before the wedding date. Therefore, I am unable to provide feedback for her day service since my wedding never happened. Has it ever occurred to you, Heather, that you had not heard from me in a year because I was busy dealing with other important things like planning a funeral? My wedding was the last thing on my mind. Also, I was not complaining about the charge that never happened, I am complaining about your response to your changes. There was no need to comment on that you are more expensive and won't be charging me. We could have proceeded forward with whatever it was we were doing. You contacted ONE venue and that is because they had YOU sign a contract with them. FYI, my pre-engagement photos were scheduled with the photographer I hired for my wedding and I was still refunded the full amount. This vendor did not work for free either and still managed to prioritize customer service over money. She showed genuine care and interest from the get go and we knew we were in good hands. As someone who is a little more Type A (bride) when it comes to organization and planning, it was over whelming trying to consider how to plan the biggest day of our lives. Maria went above and beyond and took any ounce of stress away. She helped us pick our vendor team early on into the planning process, allowing us to find people who matched our energy. What seemed to be so daunting became some of the easiest decisions to make. Throughout the year, Maria checked in with us to make sure things were okay. She looked over our contracts and helped us plan the next steps whether it was food tasting, floral meetings, making a design deck, or buying a cake just for a photo. Monthly chats quickly turned into weekly chats as we got closer to the big day. Maria ensured every little detail was covered asking us questions about our bridal party, songs we wanted to be played, table greetings, and thank you cards. Before the day of our wedding, she sent us a checklist of items to give her to help take the added weight off our shoulders so we can enjoy our day. He listened to what we wanted but also offered his experience . For example, during planning, we were dead set on having a "last hour" EDM set, with a curated mix with mashups, remixes, edits, etc., but James graciously communicated that it's difficult in a wedding environment, as it's more about keeping guests dancing and engaged than "performing", as a EDM DJ normally would at a show or club. This was something we really appreciated. He was an absolute ace during the wedding ceremony and reception. As MC, he kept our guests involved, made announcements with grace and charisma, and masterfuly navigated different guests' (drunk) personalities during a game.
