The man who did my nails today was rushing and made a rude comment. When I asked for a cute set, he pulled out black polish, and I was confused. Then he rudely asked, 'Do you do nails?' When all he had to do was simply tell me what he was doing instead of being rude. If I do come back I wouldn't want him doing my nails again. My experience at Kelly Nails was one of the oddest manicures I've ever had done. The staff is so rude and awkward! Only compliment I could give to the woman who did my nails is that she's a pro at multitasking. She was able to hold an entire phone conversation through her Airpods while keeping up with a text thread on her cell phone while also chatting with the other staff WHILE doing my nails. In the end I do have to say that my nails looked really nice and she did a great job on them, but ultimately they didn't last long. It was $25 for a regular manicure. I just felt so uncomfortable the whole time and part of going to a nail salon is the relaxing experience. Won't be back here. read more

I really wanted to have a good experience here after reading so many bad reviews, but unfortunately I can't say anything better. I brought my goddaughter and cousin here for pedicures to celebrate a birthday. I also got a manicure, because I was traveling and wanted to have my nails done. I opted for gel on my nails so it would stay on during my trip and regular polish on my toes. Honestly, I would only give them one star, but I am giving two because the lady who did the pedicure for my goddaughter was wonderful with her! My nails were painted three days ago and I already don't have any polish on one of the finger nails on my right hand and my thumb is completely chipped off at the top. I paid over $50 to get a gel manicure and it's already ruined. While the lady was painting my nails I noticed she wasn't painting to the very top. I let her know and she told me not to worry, while she continued talking on the phone to someone. She was on a phone call the whole time she painted my nails and clearly not paying attention to me. The place has a nice designs and is relatively clean. While I came they were having some construction done so there were several holes in the ceiling. I called ahead of time and they said they were available to take me, but then I had to wait another 15 minutes. My technician did a good job with my nails though. My gel pedicure took about 40 minutes and the guy was a little aggressive with my toes causing some pain. read more

When I moved here 4 years ago from California I didn't know who to go see to do my nails and toes. I person from work recommended that I go see this nice lady Linda. I followed Linda for the last four years, two different nail locations, and just last month she moved to Rhode Island. I googled for a new nail place, checked on yelp, and read different Facebook postings that people posted where they go to do their nails and toes. I wrote down between Plainfield, Avon, Mooresville, and Brownsburg about 14 different places to drive and check out the inside of each of the shops. I went into Kelly Nails and this place was very clean. They have a plastic liner that they throw away after each person gets their toes done. They have a huge wall of different color selection for your nails and toes. They do all types of nails gel, powder, dip, acrylic, nail designs, and whatever else is out there people do. They were all very nice, and very polite. Some places I went into were not nice, and when you asked questions they seemed upset that you asked too many questions, and started talking in their language. Not Kelly Nails. I picked out my color, and Niki did my nails. I did the basic gel manicure for my nails. As I was talking to her she owns the shop with her husband and there are a few other workers. She works very hard 7 days a week the salon is open. Not once did I have a bad experience. I told Niki what a wanted before she started. I left very happy, and it saddens me to see the reviews that are posted. I am very, very picky, and OCD about shops being cleaned. I got a gel acrylic full set and I'm very pleased. Prices were pretty standard and fair for what I got. This manicure was $55 and Sally was able to use the picture that I had for inspiration. Decided to try this place today and it was not a good experience. The teenager behind the counter was rude. It was messy and dirty. The seat I sat in for a pedicure had rips. As I sat in the pedi chair, ignored, for twenty minutes, I had plenty of time to notice how dirty the place was. It did not look like anything had been cleaned or dusted for a while. And their nail polish displays looked equally neglected. They had seven people working, and just as many customers when I was there. The employees never spoke to customers and, instead, incessantly spoke loudly to each other from across the salon and in a foreign language. Nice, little nail place in Avon. My mom & I went to go get their 4-step Deluxe Pedicures, which I highly recommend getting as they have many scents to choose from. With this pedicure you get a sea salt soak, sugar scrub, mud mask, massage cream w/hot towel and hot stone rub. Overall, they did a good job. I did notice that the males do a better job at massaging and scrubbing; so if you can, try to get one of the males to do the pedicure for you. The technician who did my pedicure was sweet and tried hard, but I had booked a double appointment for me and my granddaughter, and it was, I believe the owner who took care of my granddaughter. She rushed thru the job (20 minutes), and was unfriendly and rough. We wanted to sit side by side, and at first didn't understand that 2 of the 4 chairs were broken and we would have to sit apart. While we were trying to understand, the owner actually raised her voice and yelled at us, telling us we could go somewhere else, we didn't have to stay, etc. The other technician was embarrassed and she tried very hard to create a nice experience for me. There is no excuse for the lack of professionalism and for talking to customers this way. And this: we were the only two people in the salon on a Friday morning....no wonder why. read more

I had a choice of several different packages but went with the camomile. It was very relaxing, smelled wonderful, and my legs and feet have never felt better. Gentlemen was very gentle. Horrible job done and horrible customer service. My husband purchased a gift card from this location for Christmas. The gift card expired a year from the date of purchase. I went to use said gift card before my son's birthday party and was told that my gift card was no longer valid because the salon had changed owners 2 weeks prior. I was told to go to speedway and track down some dude named Sam in order to not lose out on my $45 gift card. Seriously?! I was very upset and said I would never make it to speedway as I have two young children and was lucky to make it out this evening. I went in for a dip mani because the place I usually go to is 30 minutes away and today I didn't have the time to make the trek. I'm very disappointed and wish I would have gone to my usual place. The selection of dip colors are good but the swatches aren't correctly labeled so it's hard to know what color you'll actually be getting. The woman who did my nails did a half ass job and I could tell she couldn't care less about me. My cuticles weren't cut and I wasn't asked if I wanted it done, at the end I asked about it and she said it's an extra $5. Worst experience ever! I went with my mother and sister for a girls day and they treated us nicely. We all got pedis and sat next to each other. I got a gel polish pedicure, while my mother and sister got a regular pedi. My pedicure was rushed, while my sister received a pedicure with hot rocks, towels and eveything. My mother and I both were rushed and I was slightly turned off from that but overall I liked my toes. I came back the following day to get my nails done.. I showed her the picture of the shape I wanted as well as selected my colors. Today makes one week and a day that I went to Kelly's, and I took my nails off on Sunday for the sake of my nails. The acrylic was SO cheap, my nails broke as days progressed. By the 4th day, I had broken 2 broken nails and one nail that split in half. I always wear my nails long so I know this had nothing to do with the length, but everything to do with the quality was of materials they used. I even had gel polish chipping and coming off. I am completely disgusted because I payed $50 plus tip to wear my nails for 4 days! And then If this doesn't make it any worse, when leaving out one of their employees was outside SMOKING and I waved and said have a great day... he glanced at me and proceeded to smoke his cigarette and check his phone. I took my 91 year old Mother there again today. I have taken her there many, many times. The gel nail polish manicure was fine. I am not crazy about the salon as I do not feel it is very clean. However, today there was a little shitzu type dog that belonged to the owner or someone who works in the salon. It greeted us at the door with an assaultive bark and demeanor. It was called off by Kelly. I saw it become extremely assaultive three more times with customers. The last time it was against a 5-6 year old child and I started yelling loudly to stop it. The 15 -16 daughter of the owner or one of the employees who works at the desk crossed the foyer and gave me squinted, mean eyes in protection of her dog. That dog should never be in the nail salon!!!! Is that even legal? I think the board of health and licensing board would say that it is not! Regardless it was very disturbing each time it went after someone and I was afraid for my Mom and especially for that little girl. Poor choice on their part! read more

I have never been more disappointed with my nails. All i got glitter on the tips of my acrylics, and they were $70! My nails never break and I already have 3 broken nails and my nails were sore when I left. They were also very rough clipping around my nails to the point where the side of my toe nail was bleeding a bit. I have been here once before but it was only for a pedicure which was fine. This time I got my nails done too and Andy was not listening to what I wanted. The shape is horrible and he practically refused to shorten them any more saying he didn't think it would look right for the plain ole French manicure I was wanting and he just kept saying "it's fine I'm not done yet" I didn't even let him finish. Honestly very dissatisfied with my gel mani. It's been less than a week and my polish is coming up on the edges and my nails were all filed at an angle which is super irritating especially since it is noticeable enough that my friends asked about it...I noted this during my mani but the person doing my nails said "they were uneven to begin with" and all I could think was if even if they were this should be corrected not accentuated....I get my nails done 2-3x a month so I know what to expect and I didn't appreciate how he wrote me off.
