Ham, Bacon, and Sausage Omelet 1 Biscuit & Gravy
    Joseph C.

Stopped by Kelly's Big Burger for a classic Southern breakfast and walked away with mixed feelings. I ordered the omelet with a biscuit and gravy--solid, but nothing to write home about. Definitely edible, definitely filling, but it won't change your life. Think Waffle House vibes, but with a little more wear on the floors and a bit less grease on the food. The floors were a bit on the slick side (watch your step), but the staff more than made up for it with that good ol' Southern hospitality. Friendly faces, quick service, and they keep the coffee coming. If you're looking for a no-frills, hometown diner experience, Kelly's gets the job done. Just don't expect gourmet--this place is about comfort, not cuisine.

This is an upscale waffle house. That is not a negative given most people have a love/hate relationship with the place, but Kelly's is the love side of it. The staff are great and work with what they can given the crowds at times. There is a decent amount of seating, but not a ton. There are booths and counter seats. The menu is short sweet and to the point. It's burgers, breakfasts, and sandwiches. The mushroom Swiss burger is delicious. A little bit of gravy and a nice burger. The loaded hashbrowns hit the spot for brunch. Cheese, veggies, chunks of ham; it's soooo good. The service was great and this was perfect for our after hunting brunch.

We stopped her after a wedding in Clarksville and it was good. It was really giving Waffle House and I actually love Waffle House so I was not upset about this choice. The food was good and you get a lot for a cheap price. It is definitely not over the top good, but it hit the spot. On the downside, there were a lot of dead flies everywhere, but I felt like it was part of the experience I probably wouldn't go back here, but it made for a good story.

I went here because i had to get my brakes and rotors changed at Midas next door and was hungry. I had heard things before about this place but never had a chance to go. Here is my review. Atmosphere - like almost any diner like establishment, you have your basic 50's style design: spinning seats at the counter and pressed wood booths. The smell of food and sounds of chatter permeate the entire building but at a decent level. Service - the waitresses didnt notice me for about 5 minutes as they were engaged on other tasks. However, you do get that same kind of feel that you would expect in a diner: direct and upfront conversation. Polite and informative as well. Food (what you're really here for!) - I love trying multiple items at any establishment for the first time so i ordered a cheeseburger upgrade (6oz vs. 4oz for $1 upcharge), rocky top half size and a half size of biscuits and gravy along with a soda. The burger was cook mid with some pink which is how i like it. It was juicy but didnt have enough seasoning on it but solvable with salt and pepper. The biscuits and gravy were good but the ends of the biscuit were a little crunchy for me but the gravy was seasoned well. The rocky top reminded me of the everything hashbrowns you would get at Waffle House...only better. TL;DR - good food and environment. Try it at least once!

Came by here last night for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed myself. The food and service were both great. I love the old diner feel of the place.

Little diner, think of WaffleHouse as far as cleanliness standards. We enjoyed our food and the prices are reasonable. Nothing to write home about but I would recommend it.

Being a Clarksville native I grew up seeing this place but never tried it until today while visiting. The food was decent I ordered the cheeseburger and fries. I was taken aback because it was kind of small compared to pictures Ive seen but I realize I didn't request it to be jumbo so that was on me. Anywho it's your old fashion burger which is good as I was in a nostalgic mood. The fries were extremely greasy and a bit too overcooked for my liking. My mom got the grilled ham cheese sandwich which she said was really good. Everything totaled about $21 and some change. My rating is primarily based on the fact that when our server came to take our order it felt like there was a bit of an attitude idk. Not too sure but based off of the experience and overall energy of the establishment I don't believe we'll return when we're in town.

There wasn't even any warmth to his burger when he took a bite out of it. All of our sodas were FLAT! no carbonation whatsoever. My daughter ordered a lemonade. She then told me to try it. Yep. Monster burgers? Absolutely. Fried everything? You bet. The menu is honestly fantastic. Unfortunately, the execution felt like everyone sampled the product before clocking in. Walked in on a Sunday at lunchtime and the place was emptier than my fridge after a teenage sleepover. Ordered immediately and wandered over to the soda machine. No ice. That's a bold strategy for a restaurant whose entire vibe is "we know you're thirsty." Then the wait began. They said 10 to 15 minutes. They delivered on that promise with the dedication of NASA launching a rover to Mars. Fifteen minutes in an empty restaurant is impressive. Even the DoorDash drivers had that look of, "Bro... I could've grown the potatoes by now." Food finally landed. The burger was actually pretty decent. Fried pickles were solid. The breaded fries wanted to be great, but some were cold and the fryer oil tasted like it had seen every presidential administration this decade. The staff wasn't rude. They also weren't awake enough to be considered enthusiastic. The whole restaurant had the energy of a group project where everyone assumed someone else was doing the work. That's really the story here. Death by a thousand little details. No ice. Slow food. Cold fries. Worn-out fryer oil. Dark dining room. Zero hospitality. Nobody seemed to notice, and that was the biggest disappointment of all. Fat Shack absolutely understands stoner food. What it doesn't understand is that eventually the munchies wear off... and people start noticing the service. I'd probably order it again... through DoorDash... and hope they remember the ice.
